chevy chase cheating on test. hilarious stuff from classic chevy chase.
---no copyright infringement intended. small clip.
I learned all my test cheating techniques from this one scene.
Except the Covid method...use you n95 mask instead of an eyepatch and say you need some oxygen
This and "Summer School." And maybe "Fast Times..."
@@maximusmax4557 Summer School: C C C C C C
I lived this scene during my early college years.
"I'm sorry I'm late, I had to attend the reading of a will." How often has everyone gotten in trouble without this excuse at our disposal?
In the end, I received nothing.
In 1991 in high I was late. I said the same thing. I'm sorry I'm late I had to attend the reading of a will. I stayed to the very end only to find out I received nothing. No shit and the girl working in the office wrote me an excused absence.
The test is probably starting @ 8 am so with the hospital visit in between, the reading was at 4 am?
I'm going to start using that.
@@charleslowe522 amazing
I love his backstory about attending the reading of a will, receiving nothing, then breaking his arm.
"Ahhh! Heart attack!...heart attack...can I borrow your pen?..."
The best exam cheating scene ever.
A trained cardiovascular respiratory emergency assist technician
Lmao 😆
@@josephmillar2370 This man needs air, in fact all of you should leave the room.
That’s the funniest part 😂 besides all of the other funny stuff too
in a slightly earlier scene, he says "The Chinese were only using a simple, polyphonetic, 20-digit key transposed in booster verdonic form with multiple nulls". he has the best lines lol. same in ghostbusters
"Good evening....Gozer the Gozerian.
...as a duly appointed representative of the city, county, and state of New York, I hereby command you to return to your place of origin or the nearest convenient parallel dimension....."
I remember being a young teenager watching this movie with my brother. When this scene came we were cracking up hysterical on the ground and my dad looking at us like we were two little weirdos…lol
Oh the memories….
My brother and I would watch this as kids so much too. And who was the genius that got BB King to say the Pepsi line.
This song is for you and your brother... Too many memories
I really love Frank Oz's acting. He plays such a straight guy. His roles as a typical no-nonsense government employee are priceless.
Not bad acting for a puppet guy.
@@morefiction3264 Yoda
i think hes one of the most underrated actors of all time..
Thanks, I couldn’t remember.
"One prophylactic....soiled"
I love it! When Frank says "Sit DOWN!" he sounds like a pissed off Grover...or Bert.
byronius5 or Yoda 😊
I mean, there's a reason for that.
Or Oscar the Grouch... but I don't think Oz did that voice...
@@tommyt1971 Nope. That’s Carroll Spinney.
Ernie and Kermit too!
"Omg,the pressure..."
I always wanted to do that in an exam...so funny ..
Can I borrow your pen?
I also wanted to do it, while having a fake broken arm
The look on Chevy’s face when he’s rewatching it on the tv was priceless.
I just love how the test monitor is observing Emette attempts at cheating and is so utterly aghast at how brazenly obvious his antics are.
Frank Oz
Fozzie Bear
"So where do I uhh...SIT DOWN!" Lol best part
I can hear a bit of Cookie Monster.
@@rhombusm3657He does sound like Cookie Monster when he shouts. He’s played by Frank Oz who did Cookie. You really can hear a bit of Cookie in his normal voice.
".. so where do I...?" "Sit down!" Every single molecule of this movie is funny.
Not in 1985 it wasn’t
That part feels like it was inspired by the Three Stooges in "Disorder in the Court." Remember when Curly falls off the chair after getting shouted at to sit down?
@@daveconleyportfolio5192 The Three Stooges you say... I gotta feeling that I have to further investigate them.
Call an ox Ford map then music small fry in the nest at the end🎉😂❤

God I love Chevy's unique type of humour.
Imagine a world without Chevy Chase
Yes, but Dan Aykroyd steals the show!
@@small_ed He wrote in it and stars in it. He can't really steal it.
@@small_ed chase was obviously taken out for the wrong reasons. A determination to expel him from Hollywood's elite meant his career would never last. He was one of the very best
Ohhh....childish???
Carry on, plebe
The part when Chevy takes out the paper and then says, eff it, and takes out his "broken arm" to use both hands to read, always cracks me up. That is next level cajones.
You've said 'next level drawers'. Cajones means drawers in Spanish, as in where you keep your socks. The word you want is 'cojones', which means testicles.
And the teacher sees this and is like what the Hell are these 2 doing, I see all of this
Such a classic scene from a classic movie. Chevy Chase ripping ass has me in tears every time. Lol!!!! 🤣😂
Dan Ackroyd and Chevy Chase had good chemistry! It surprises me they never made anymore movies together.
They actually did one more called "Nothing But Trouble". It's rather terrible. And not "so bad" it's "good", just plain bad!!!
2112dorf Oh yeah, I forgot about that one. Yeah, that movie was awful and probably why I had forgotten about it!
Agree! Wish they did...
I agree that Chase was great in this. John Belushi was actually the original choice to play opposite Ackroyd but he obviously died before he could film it.
+KoolCat ! I heard that too about Belushi was supposed to be in it.
Awesome movie, and kickass quality on this upload.
Frank Oz is a great straight man to these two.
I love this movie so much. Remember seeing this In theaters with my mom. Chevy and Dan at there best.
My uncles funeral was today. This was one of his favorite movies, back in the cable days. No on demand, Cheers, you will be missed.
Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd were 2 of my favorite comedians of all time! Plus John Candy and several others from the 80's! Never again have we ever seen these geniuses duplicated! And not to mention the 80's music tops the list!
💯
Doctor, doctor. Doctor. Doctor. Doctor. Doctor. Doctor.
.... aaand doctor
Were not doctors
I'm glad I'm not sick.
They don’t make comedies like this anymore.
They woke leftys would freak hearing the comedy we grew up with. Andrew Dice Clay would cause mass hysteria and cause their hive mind to explode
@Mac Tex flex capacitor Fletch and Fletch lives are classics. Looking back I'm glad I grew up during the 80's. The woke ruined everything these days. The movie 3 amigos for example. The lefty hive mind would screech cultural appropriation and want people in jail for using fake accents.
@@jasonmoyer9492 Riiiiiiiight lol. Maybe turn the channel from Fox News every now and then. See the real world.
they don't make any kind of art forms like they did back in the day
Because they’re not funny
"Aaah, the pressure! I can't take it! I can't... what page?" Underrated movie.
I received nothing... broke my arm... Such an underrated sense of humor!
Hardly underrated. Chevy Chase was the top comedy actor for over a decade.
@@mecurian485 It doesn’t matter how big a star someone is and, as you say, Chase was *huge* for years, someone on UA-cam will describe them as underrated.
@@nkt1 Yes. It's common, annoying and just lazy. I'm sure there is some moron out there who says that Julius Caesar is under rated.
@@mecurian485 Indeed. Laurence Olivier, Winston Churchill, Albert Einstein, all criminally underrated.

I'm so in love with this movie... I saw this when I was in elementary first grade. Me and my brother who is older than me 6 years, would tell me, Spies like us is on HBO!!! Nothing else mattered when this movie was on. I would like to meet Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase just to thank them both for this masterpiece...

The shot of the whole room shifting after Chevy Chase blames the other guy for the fart.
And when Chevy Chases real arm pops out.
Hilarious.
Chevy Chase is one of the great comedic actors of all time. I don't really care for him as a person, but several of his movies are among the best ever. Spies Like Us may not be his best movie, but it still a very good movie.
Agreed...a far from perfect movie but gosh, I have to admit, it is so funny.
I think Chevy over 40 years later still feels responsible for Doug Kenney's death. They were both misanthropic people whom possess Mensa level genius.
This was true Comedy at its best saw this as a kid Still Cracks me Up.🤣🤣🤣

I always love how he forgot his arm was supposed to be "broken"!
The gum part is so fun . I seen this movie so many times . The ninja spins and comes nowhere close to the trees and the all fall down . You hear that guys , he's ganging up on us ! Let's get him as he's pointing and walking away . Classic move .
"I had to wait till the end to find out I wasn't in the will" 😂
I love this movie brings me back
Great movie! I've seen it dozens of times. Thankfully I have it on DVD.

I had a similar incident (that failed) where I forgot to study for a Keyboarding test. I wrote all the letters on the keyboard on my hand. The teacher came up to me and angrily accused me of trying to cheat. But I was able to convince him i was just practicing writing down the letters in correct order, and i was going to wash it off. So I had to wash it off in front of him lol and I still managed to get 85% or so because I memorized the letters in that small moment
The first time I watched this scene I almost passed out from laughter
The best period of humor of all time. Thanks to share.
Its a crying shame we couldn't have frozen the 80s and stayed there. 90s it all started to go downhill. Now life sucks.
The tears, are streaming down my face, watching this, so funny 🤣🤣🤣
I did the "oh the pressure" thing once. Did not result in a promotion. Got thrown out of social studies.
I faked a stomach thing to get out of a math test.

Those were the days, when the cameras and microphones were large. Love the 80's!

Frank Oz, puppeteer and voice of Yoda as test monitor.
As a child of the 80s, all of my knowledge on Russia came from Rocky and Bullwinkle and this movie. Oh, and the original Red Dawn.
Frank Oz is the professor in this scene, he is particularly well known as being the voice of Yoda and Kermit the frog as well.
He was also a cop in Trading Places.
Jim Henson was Kermit - not Frank Oz. Oz was Yoda, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Animal, Bert, Grover, Sam The Eagle, etc.
Fell out of my chair laughing the first time I ever saw this.
I've successfully used "GOD THE PRESSURE" for several comedic interludes where applicable. 😀
