@@GAROMAKAIsenatus 札幌開業の予定まであと10年。H2編成の廃車後すぐに発注したとしてもおそらく完成は今年度で使用期間は10年弱の見込み（E5/H5系は道央乗り入れを見越して設計していない）。E5系の車両使用量が代替新造費を大きく上回らない限りは減価償却を待たずに廃車になりかねない車両をわざわざ新造はしないかと。
それにこれまでビタ1mmも接点がなかった東海やトワイライト廃止で接点を完全に失い、かつ自分のところで精一杯な西に一体どんな希望を見出した？実質親会社の東がアテにならないから消去法？
