This question has absolutely nothing to do with your video, it's just you're one of the most experts of experts on Warhammer 40K and I have what can be considered an odd question. Who gives Space Marines haircuts? This is a real question. 'cause I noticed in Space Marine 2, they all had haircuts. Do servitors give them haircuts? Is there a specific Space Marine that's Does this or is it? Their thralls, the The human servants each chapter keeps. Because in every Space Marine game they have haircuts.
It never ceases to annoy me how we went from "Mechanicus meddling with gene seed causes multiple chapters to self-ignite/mutate/turn traitor and all of them fall under suspicion" to "Mechanicus meddling with gene seed is A OK and everyone is alright with it!"
@@VallornDeathblade That's not what happened, The Primaris project was super secret for a reason. If it wasn't for Gman they wouldn't even be rolled out
Correct me if i'm wrong, but there wasn't something wrong with the Primaris? Sure, Cawl had a better template to work with and sure, the Emperor had something to do with that, making Cawl yet another of His gambles. Make no mistake, the Emperor will gamble if the fate of mankind is in the balance, and teh only option is a gamble, Still, you can count on him gambling inteligently, if he cannot game the system he will consider the draw backs, pro and cons, and pick the best option available. The primaris? That was THE gamble, the breaking of Cadia might nbot seem like much in a galactic scale, especially with the Cicatrix, but now, both sides have more acess to the warp, and more insane crap can happen , much more easily. I wonder if this gamble will buy humanity another millenium. Already bought the era indomitus. Personally i'm waiting for the drawback.
@@VallornDeathblade you mean, we went from “mechanicus meddling with GeneSeed tainted by agents of chaos and it turned out really poorly” to “Cawl working in secret for 10 millennia to learn all he could from the leading geneticists in the legions, cataloging what went wrong with other experiments, and using pure geneseed from Primarchs (Sangprimus Portum) to create a stronger but more vanilla marine” Do you know much about Fabius Biles “New Men”? They’re his version of upgraded humans after he did much of the same as Cawl except he learned from the actual best geneticists (Drukari). He cloned Fulgrim perfectly, so well he had the programming from E and even attracted bits of Fulgrims soul to have the Primarch aura. Freaked him out a little so he gave it to Trazn for safekeeping. The Lamenters would probably politely turn such a holiday down; given the sheer Hell they are willing to endure to save Imperial citizens, I don't think they would allow themselves to rest so long as there are innocent people in need of rescue.
All that would happen is that the paradise world they end up has a Genestealer cult with a Hive fleet on the way, and it's a Necron tomb world that starts waking up in response.

Seeing that the 21th founding was said to be the biggest founding since the second one but only a few chapters are known, it is my personal headcanon that most of the chapters created during the founding ended up being destroyed during the Abyssal Crusade. It would fit, since the origin of most of the chapters participating in the Crusade are unknown and the chapters were chosen based on them possessing various mutations. That would also explain why the 21th is considered cursed, if most of the created chapters were first struck with mutations and then ended up being forced into the Eye of Terror where they were either destroyed or turned traitor.

Balisarius Cawl calls this a skill issue. Granted having the memories of someone that worked on the original legions, plus a pure sample of the Primarch's DNA, and a flexible schedule (how much of those 10K years did it take to suceed?) helped.
I agree, the amount of in-fighting and treachery in the Imperium during the Cursed Founding was the worst since the Horus Heresy, and it hasn't been matched since. It was full-on chapter vs chapter and intra-chapter warfare across the galaxy, causing rifts that still haven't entirely healed in M41. Very ugly business with brother killing brother, and at times caused mere rumors of corruption.
Ah yes homo sapiens nova. The pet project of none other than Fabulous Bill the clone lord, the master flesh crafter the ONLY human to ever be acknowledged by the dark Eldar homunculi.

I think part of what annoys me with Primaris is the whole: Cursed founding: “you messed with the E’s perfection, be punished” Ultima founding: “you messed with E’s perfection, you made it better” One is a lesson in hubris and belongs in the Grimdark - the other feels too noble bright

The Black Dragons? Failures? Those are bone blade punching words
Tell that to the Ordo Hereticus.
@@docbaker3333heresy supporter! Heretic! Blasphemerrrrrrrrrrrrr!
I love these videos, baldermort is Warhammer 40k's Sir David Attenborough.
Balisarius Cawl calls this a skill issue.
Granted having the memories of someone that worked on the original legions, plus a pure sample of the Primarch's DNA, and a flexible schedule (how much of those 10K years did it take to suceed?) helped.
I love your work sir, you are truly the voice of warhammer.
Loved this so much, thank you for this, It really made my day, No one can talk about warhammer like you do
29:53 the Badab War is something that should have been expanded on further imo
As always baldy this was amazing
Guy, happy Slaneshmass!
Thank you so much for your work!
11:44 so were just going to ignore Fabius Bile's handwriting and signature at the bottom of the page?
Awesome as always!
I sense Heresy against the Emporer!!!!
Next the Dark founding please😊
I love all the links!!
Ah yes homo sapiens nova. The pet project of none other than Fabulous Bill the clone lord, the master flesh crafter the ONLY human to ever be acknowledged by the dark Eldar homunculi.
Mmmm, uncle B is getting Spivey !
A Interaction for the Interaction God, a Comment for the Comment Throne, for the Almighty Algorithm
Been listening to baldy for a year now and I still have so far to go.
What is The War of thr Beast?
Loved it! But Baldy, where is our Salamander video?
Need the rest of the Primarch vids
"The Emperor's most embarassing failed experiment was probably the XV Legion, the Thousand Sons."
"But wait, what about the II Legion and XI Legion?"
*Inquisitorial Bolt Pistol Noises*
A lesson unlearned by Craw ! ! !
I was on my way to stop a fire saw this video just dropped I think they can wait 30 minutes
So another day at the office for the mechanicus then.
🙏
For the Algorithm! Uhh Emperor?
*signs the aquilla* its friday my brothers!
*Heresy never felt so good! Let it all burn!*
I will stand against you for the Emperor! Unless it is tea time, then can we offset the smiting to 1630?
I rather enjoy tea and toasted, buttered buns at 1600. I feel sure you understand.
@@TheWidsith Tea? Are there those yummy crumbly cakes with jam in them? I love those!
@@Diarmuhnd I can get them in my dear fellow. Deal?
Chesterton mentioned? :o
Let's go
First! Also I have a small pee pee
Comments for the algorithm god
I think part of what annoys me with Primaris is the whole:
Cursed founding: “you messed with the E’s perfection, be punished”
Ultima founding: “you messed with E’s perfection, you made it better”
One is a lesson in hubris and belongs in the Grimdark - the other feels too noble bright
You should do more trailers GW needs you on contract
Anyone know what is the shortest lived chapter. I found to much chaff to sort thru when I tried to Google it.
