Hi, great vid!! I'm glad more people are getting into chess. A piece of advice, the scholar's mate (the four move checkmate) is what we call hope chess. It's called that because we want our opponent to play a certain way. This style of chess may work in the lower levels but as you improve you'll start to see that the scholar's mate is actually really bad and if black plays correctly, they can destroy the white pieces. A little piece of advice, do not bring your queen out too early. The queen is the most powerful piece but that means it's the most valuable, bringing it out early will just get it harassed by the opponent's pieces. You must develope all you pieces before involving the queen.

As a self apointted douchbag who plays chess this video definatlly made bang my head against a wall. Also I loved The part where Luke tried to reinvent The Queens Wayward Attack, and really just made a worse version of it. Also Game 65 Made Me Scream Out In Rage and confusion. And 95 made me screech like a goblin.

At 3:58, no, it doesn't necessarily make them bad. They just seem to like the Owen's defence. It's has a bit more of a dubious reputation, but it's valid theory as far as I'm concerned. The basic idea is that you gain a strong diagonal for your bishop by giving up on some space in the center.
A video idea for 100 days that I have tried myself is where you connect everything to one village house. It's just an idea. Either way I love your vids keep up the hard work 🙂
