Well done McLaren for spoiling Oscar's 1st official win. This could have been avoided if they didn't undercut Norris. Norris would have had a decent gap to Lewis if he stayed a lap longer out because the pace of McLaren was far better than Merc. He would have left Hamilton behind anyway in the end. And what was that radio message to Lando McLaren gave of how Oscar was being comfortable in the front with brake settings and stuff??? Also Lando saying he would have undercut Oscar anyway is a lie we all know Lando has not been strategically minded with pitstops and tyre choices so far.
Norris was way fast at the end, he would’ve overtaken Piastri even if he’d pitted first. And Piastri knew this, he was way to slow at the end. Not a deserved win, you can see it from his reaction on the radio
@@huckepack05294no way. Lando picked up almost 8 seconds from the undercut and the bad pit stop for Oscar and Oscar was maintaining a 2 second gap prior to that. If McLaren pitted Oscar first he would have been too far up the road for Lando.
