She has been a completely different person each time she has performed in ESC and each time as equally amazing.
Das macht nur ein Künstler, Ευριδίκη was the best
underrated
the real winner of this esc 1994
What a star. Respect Madame.
The best ever Cypriot entry. Beautiful song and astonishing performance which deserved a much higher place than 11th.
I love this, don't understand anything except for the title but is still in my head-
bangin choon
@@TheMaclet the lyrics of this are truly exceptional. Evridiki has always been an amazing performer and this performance of her was no exception, she fearlessly dives into the very meaning of each word and every time I watch this she gives me goosebumps. Incredibly underrated entry. Unfortunately too much of this masterpiece was lost in translation.
SHE IS AMAIZING FANTASTIC ARTIST AND GREAT SONG ❤❤❤❤
1994 was a super weak edition, and this song ended up to be my favorite. Magnificent voice that held up perfectly !
This , like all of Evridki's entries deserved so much better.
I mean look at all this 2:05 , this performance, this passion, this gusto
The sudden halt in 3:00 still gives me chills
I might actually think this is the best song performed in the history of Eurovision, ever. Music, lyrics, performance - the song nails it.
IS FABULOUS AMAIZING GREATEST EVER
My absolute winner. Its so mysterious and powerful.
A stunning song with very powerful lyrics too. Evridiki's performance was powerful and soulful, too. Deserved to come higher than just 11th!
This should have won. A very dramatic, powerful entry!
I always return to this song: It's, despite there were other great ones, my favorite from the 1994 contest. Evridiki has a great voice and presence, showing so much anger and passion. Also, the music adds an interesting touch. I still think that it's 11th place was way too low.
I remember watching this live and getting so emotional. Not having a clue what this was about. Still one of my favorite entries ever.
One of the best songs 1994! Lovely 👋
Respect ❤!
great song! fantastic perfomance! how much I love Evridiki!!
Underrated. Just 51 points. At least ten points from Finland to Cyprus that evening!
thank you Finland! the lyrics are so good and dark ❤
I wonder if greece gave us any points🤔🤔🤔

why has evridiki been robbed every time she's entered? this song was beautiful, teriazoume was beautiful, and comme ci, comme ca was a banger! she's easily my fave cypriot entrant of all time!
She was not robbed. Someone else was the winner.
@@RAPamme-ih8bm In terms of placements she deserved much better each year for sure
Well said!
Here in 1994 she deserved way way better that is for sure ! She was a pleasant voice to listen to amongst many boring copy pasted songs in that edition.
She was victimised. As I have heard many times, "The Eurovision is fixed." It must be sorted out immediately. Oh yes, and get rid of the free language rule, as I always say. This is the Eurovision, not The X-Factor, The Voice, or Britain's got Talent.
Cette queen est trop forte
Stunning! One of my loved songs in the history of the contest. So unjust that she came only 11th. This should have won rather than the cliche that Ireland sent. Europe is deaf
Comme le grec est joli à écouter !
1/2 Doing things fully live is time-consuming when it comes to rehearsals and preparations and it requires a lot more from the artists. The orchestra-musicians and sound engineers have to be top class, and that's expensive. But still Eurovision should be live, not because it's easy. But because the audience and the artists deserves it. This is the biggest music event in the world, and it's forbidden play live. That's ridicules to me.
For the first time I can see how Patricia Kass appeared to lend from elements of this performance for her French Eurovision entry.
Such a beautiful entry with nostalgia. Such good vibes it gives and even the happy mood. This entry is like golden.
Gorgeous.
Hello everybody:
I would describe this song as a 3-minute soap opera/telenovela/culebrón due to its authentic, passionate and intense Mediterranean-styled performance and its ambiguous/cryptic lyrics. Evridiki is a very expressive, talented and charismatic interpreter and she could have also become an actress if she wanted to (she sold her song very well). It's a real shame we can't hear such songs in the contest anymore.
The Spanish jury, based at Estudio A-4 (located on the ground floor of famous Torrespaña TVE studios in Madrid) gave it 4 points, it was the 2nd time that they voted for Cyprus (the 1st one was 7 points in 1982), hence the applause, they didn't expect that voting.
All the best from Spain
Carlos M.S.
ohhh why can't we have Eurovision as in the good old days
Stefan Sigfinnsson because it wouldn’t even exist anymore if we kept it like that
CG Fischer why not?
Conservative confirmed
@@robertyianni3623 because it would be boring to current standards. Because the songs genres were limited. Because the natural order of things is to develop according to its time era. Eurovision is fine as it is nowadays.
Did you hear all the entries from 1994? Horrible diversity of songs, to me a dark age of eurovision. I'm happy things changed after, even if it's can be a bit too much now, but at least there is diversity and not 50-75% of the entries have the exact same composition and structure that we had heard for 30 years straight. This song won for me, not because it's a mindblowing original song, but because the rest was textbook annoying.
So great ^^
Love this ❤ this is what Eurovision Song Contest is to me ❤
Buena canción
Teleio! Eprepe na itan I proti niki tis kiprou!
Lovely song!!!!! Fantastic performance!!! I think she was pregnant then!!!!
No she wasn't! She gave birth to his only son at 1996!
Are you telling me this didn't win???
no, she ended up outside the top 10. Was devestated haha
Good old days from Cyprus ❤️
2/2 I think that a lot of the things you mention would change if the live music being brought back. When the music is on tape you don't have to worry about that part of the production, and that the reflects the priorities of many the current ESC-entries as the focus of stage shows and dancing acts. Bringing back live music would change the whole "climate" for the production. The whole focus will change, and there will be room for more quality entries.
Oh I do wish Eurovision would be more traditional.. Sing in your own language and celebrate your own individual cultures. x
Absolutely! That's what the Eurovision should always be about.
Fabulous fantastic love you euridikkkkkara babe
Ime anthropos ke ego= I am human too!
Absolutely should have won
One of the many crimes of juries!
Fun fact; juries back then were not as they are now, but comprised of all sorts of people.
Yeah but still juries were comprised of just a small group of people...and who says they were not biased! what's the difference of today's juries. There was no televoting that time, so juries had even more power.
@@Conjujo1 There's quite a few differences, actually. Back then, the juries (again, comprised of all sorts of people) comprised of usually 11 people. It was like a focus group representing each country. And really, isn't it fairer that the same amount of people give votes for every country, rather than the televote where way more people have to vote for a song in a larger country for it to get votes than in a smaller country like Iceland? And really, I'm sick of jury-bashing, at least they don't just vote for their neighbors or home country. They undo all that diaspora stuff that was sucking the life out of this contest. I love the way it is now, with 50/50, we get the best of both worlds.
@@Euroviking86 Yes, I absolutely agree with you!
@@Conjujo1 From 1988 to 1997, each jury had 16 members from all walks of life (minimum 2 and maximum 8 music experts were introduced in 1991). As a curiosity, students usually represented young people's tastes.
For instance, one of the Spanish jury members in 1994 was blind singer Serafín Zubiri, who represented Spain in 1992 and 2000.

1994: Belén Casla Benito (economist), Daniel Santos Morales (Eurovision Network delegate), Purificación Blanco (journalist at El Semanal TV), Àlex Sisteré (actor), Susana García (actress), Andrés Vázquez (bullfighter), Alejandra Botto (actress), Serafín Zubiri (singer, Spanish entrant at Eurovision Song Contest 1992 and 2000), Elena Benarroch (fashion designer), Francisco (singer, OTI winner in 1981 and 1992), Dora Dora (TV hostess, a character performed by late Valencia-born comedian Joan Monleón), Francisco Herrera (director of commercial radio station Cadena Dial), Victoria Rodríguez de Miguel (student), Manuel Liétor (businessman), Sofía Balseiro (bank branch manager), Javier de la Vega (student)
TVE always chose showbiz people (even presenters to promote their shows or actors to promote their films or TV series) and, curiously enough, it was easier to contact anonymous judges (especially if you knew any TVE staff member) than those aforementioned famous personalities who only were "just for the show". After the contest, they were given a determined amount of money (pesetas back then).

Still there.
Ficarei me perguntando se eu fiz todas essas marcas
How did this only come in 11th place, under some overrated pieces of work (Ireland, Hungary, Malta, France, Portugal)?
Elle a été miss univers?
Evridiki 3 x Fabulous When will Cyprus win ??
Hopefully, in the near future. I'd like to see Cyprus win with a strong ethnic song in Greek, and some plate smashing. I can just imagine the Eurovision in Lefkosia. 🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾
Amazing song from Turkey... Flawless melody and performance...
You: upset your Greek grandma
Her: 2:37
The worst of all times
How?
