Skinsuit and Tin Mine Trail Conditions July 10 2024

Going down a dry and dusty Skinsuit and Tin Mine on July 10, 2024. Tin Mine is the steepest trail out in the Santa Ana's. In the best dirt, the crux (the last 100 vertical) is a maybe and in this current dirt its a walk.

It’s so freaking dry and hard at the moment as you could see! With your skill and the right bike/tires maybe it’s possible to clean the bottom crux section now. Certainly over my head! But I did pretty good on the rest with just a couple slippy-doos.

I rode that trail many times in the winter, never in the summer 😀

It’s hard in winter and impossible in summer :-) I haven’t sent it in either season

Sick. Been wanting to add something down to the other side. I'll eventually get to TLD trail, but I've been wanting to check out Tin mine. Cy did a fantastic job by the look of it!
