A year back on a trip to London, I watched this song on BBC for the first time ever around 8am local time since then this has been my lasting memory of my London visit. Such wonderful, musical memory.
This is were I am with this, years ago I bought a Travis CD, it was “so” beautiful! I played it and played it. Then I suddenly thought let’s have a look at this group again. I heard this yesterday and thought interesting and very beautiful. Today I can’t stop playing it. As an additional note the word “beautiful” isn’t something I immediately spring to when it comes to songs, but there is something absolutely beautiful and endearing about Travis music. I now write songs, I perform them online. I know just how difficult the thought process can be. Last year after the most counterproductive relationship I ever formed disintegrating and ending as far from amicable (Though positively and repeatedly requested) as humanly possible and animosity continuing towards me and any one who I knew, I decided to write from the heart and penned 15 songs. I state that for no other reason that I know you have to be “effected” to pull from the heart the poignant lyrics expressed here. The lead singer is a champion wordsmith who creates poems that approach you and gently guide you. They are gently delivered and poignant with tunes that fall into your mind and won’t leave. Be proud, very, very proud!

to me this song is about a love being deceived, it's in the lyrics... "she will never learn" or "until the devil put his seed inside her"or "tried hard to stay beside her" "you don't know it if you never need to" - it's about a love dying... beautiful lyrics and great duet. The song is actually quite hard to sing for one voice, so I understand why they chose the duet, and it's awesome!
Her voice is full range without any harshness. Beautiul song. I heard Josephine on the radio a few years ago and without the internet wouldn't have really known anything about her, such is the decline of the music industry and real talent.
