Don't ever think that you're "just" a reactor. You have no idea how much joy you bring into the lives of those of us who watch you. I don't think I can watch any of your reactions without my cheeks hurting from smiling so much, or my old eyes welling up with shared emotion. I, we, love what you do, and we are all a little better for it. Thank you.
I firmly believe, The Warnings parents need to write, how to raise rockstars book! These amazing young women are so grounded, intelligent and humble, and they are some of the fiercest rockstars on the planet at the same time!
It absolutely amazes me how they can be so silly and humble, gentle and sweet when they're not on stage, and then as soon as that show starts, they transform into the most ferocious rockers of all time!
Pau wrote "Black Holes" when she was 13. It's a song about addition from the point of view of the addicted person. She read a story about an addict and wrote the song from that. All three are musical geniuses but Pau is a super genius. Even now she comes up with an idea for a song then brings it to Dany and Ale to finish.
I knew you were going to love this. They are not just great musicians they are total sweethearts! ⚡⚡⚡ PS I have to mention how much I loved the shoutout to your Mom. 💚💙💜❤
The attitude of "we make whatever music tells the story the best, regardless of "genera" " is one of the aspects of them that I appreciate most. It's part of the reason why I say that they are "their own genera" in and of themselves.
I just posted this reply to another reaction video: "Those that do good for greatness sake, will never be considered good. Those that do good for goodness sake, will always be considered great, that's The Warning. A family that chose wisely. We are so lucky to have them in these crazy times." Their parents are badass.
Since I discovered them a couple of years ago, I've felt The Warning always write their songs with live performance in mind. Which is why, I think, so many of their fans regard live performance as their superpower -- it's how the songs are *supposed* to be heard. So it's interesting that Ale commented on how they always wanted to incorporate that live sound into their studio recordings -- but didn't really succeed until their third album, thanks to David Bendeth.
Okay. Lemme try this again. Freeze The Fall's parents are just incredible, and each one plays a vital role in the management and support of the band, from social media, nutrition, equipment, transport, social media and actual band management. They also make sure that the musicians are in the loop, and getting educated about their careers.
"This trio of women really inspires me". Definitely not alone in that. It seems to be a common theme when people discover the band. Can't tell you how many reactions and comments I've seen from people who credit TW for getting back into listening to music again or wanting to pick up an instrument again or learn Spanish or just...live. You know? They transmit such passion and drive and positivity that it makes you just want to DO something...anything. That's a powerful gift.
I don't even get it. I don't understand a word of Spanish (OK, maybe a word or two) and every time Martirio comes on I get emotional and teary eyed. Their music is that powerful.
Great reaction and shoutout to Mom - I don't mind you rambling - that's partly why I keep coming back, and of course your reaction to The Warning, Freeze The Fall, with more
The Warning are not prodigies. They love music and are extremely hard working. They practice a lot. All three still play piano in addition to their stage instrument. So they spend many hours each day practicing. They had huge parental support. Their dad sold his motorcycle to help set up their studio (known as The Warning Cave) where the interview is happening. Songs to listen to, that you have not heard yet, in documentary order, Disciple, and Free Falling.
Awesome reaction. The last song that was playing in the video was called "Martirio", is a great song and it hits me in the feels and I get emotional when listening to it. It has so much deep and heartfelt meaning. Anyway... Love your reactions. Peace and Love to ya and keep up the great reactions.
One important thing about the way The warning was made, is that everything comes from interest in music AND none of them were forced. If kids develop in this way they'll be able to be experts in their own way. They tell about this when they played at the TEDx university where people study the brain - that's one of the reasons they were there two years in a row 2016 and 2017. I've been married to a Persian woman and seen kids learn 2-3 different languages from age 2-6(7). The Warning just learnt the music language - piano - rockband - rock - taking over the world of rock - I'm ready baby ;) And you're nice to listen to.
Greatly appreciate your reaction and commentary. The Warning Army is growing quickly as people learn more about Dany, Pau and Ale. Yes their music is infectious but they inspire so many young women to play music. UA-cam is filled with young women covering their songs.
I stumbled across your channel because I am a die-hard Warning fan. I'm SO glad you found The Warning. Their music has changed my life, but their personalities have an even bigger impact.
I really appreciate your reaction, it's so touching, honest and sweet. I love when you talk a lot and I'm with you in this feeling about The Warning, thank you.
The Warning must be one of the most documented bands ever, they have so much content between all their early videos, documentaries, TEDx talks, interviews, etc... Then there is all the social media content -- we all feel like we know the band from all of this, and love it when others find them too! I feel like the "what are we going to learn today?" was really relevant for this upcoming album Keep Me Fed where they worked with more people and other writers -- they like to take parts of what they like and combine as they see fit & it works!
They make my 56 year old grown ass man self emotional too. When they come back to Texas I will see them live. And I will meet them. I have to. I love them soooo much.
That music video you didn't recognize is *Disciple.* It's dark! Read the lyrics before reacting, or have them handy. It's more social commentary in the same vein as *XXI Century Blood.* That outdoor concert is at their school, Liceo de Monterrey, in June, 2015. It can be found on Trey Salazar's channel. It's a little rough, but they were 10, 13, and 15. It was more or less an audition for Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA), where they spent six weeks that summer. If you want more of this sort of thing, there is a pair of TEDx Talks at University of Nevada that The Warning gave in 2016 and 2017. Then there is the Alison Hagendorf interview (It's LONG, but you won't want to stop it). The six part series, *Mayday in the Making,* is also cool. *Mayday* was the title of their second EP, which became half of the songs on *Error.* Watching this stuff always reminds me that we become what we think about, focus on, and do. Those "think, focus, do" items tend to be the things we like. Because we like them, they grow like rolling snowballs, kind of like reactor channels whose owners really like what they're doing...
Great reaction! Besides being rock stars they are smart, humble, funny and the nicest persons on earth!! They are the best power trio of XXI century! Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
Awesome "watch with You F.A.R. " Yes My eyes get just like yours when I see the Ladies put out these videos on Their lives and what it is all about... ! You haven't said yet but I hope your coffee club sub suggested "Mayday in the making pts 1-6 " An Incerdible view and even more on how these Incredible Ladies launched Themselves into the Stratosphere !!! Cheers !!
Really enjoyed this reaction and congratulations on breaking your record! Like a lot of others you did it reminds me of the first time I watched it myself. The festival footage is from Heaven and Hell, my favorite example of how fearless they are even at a young age. And you're right about proper family bonds, my life definitely changed for the better when I embraced the relationship with my parents instead of rebel against it. At my first Warning concert in Haarlem I stood on the balcony and from there you could clearly see their father Luis standing at the sideline behind the speakers for the whole show. It was so heartwarming to watch and you could clearly tell he is very proud of their girls.
Let's make one thing clear...you are not just another "reactor" , your intelligent and thoughtful comments sets you apart...there are 1000's and 1000's of reactors just doing this for Subs and Likes...there is a big difference young lady!!! You add so much to the reactions that we all appreciate. Keep doing you and love what you do on your channel. Keep coming back for a reason. Cheers, stay well and don't ever change. BTW, I am getting better at "speed listening", your brain is at high speed...😁😁😁😁
Another great documentary is "Mayday in the Making" it has 6 parts about 5 minutes each. In addition to interviews with the band there are interviews with and their parents and people from the label they signed with, their producers and other people that worked on the album. "Mayday" was an EP that had 6 songs that would be on the upcoming album "Error" Each of the 6 videos has one of the songs from the Mayday EP playing in the background: Evolve, Choke, Disciple, Animosity, Martirio, and Z
I've been a parent for decades, and you are spot on in how important it is to support your kids and let them try different things. Maybe not as obvious, but it's also important to let them fail so they learn to handle disappointment and (hopefully) learn from mistakes.
I think these are the songs that were kinda featured that you haven't reacted to yet. Disciple, Animosity and Free Falling. I've seen this docu a dozen times and still get emotional as well. We always talk about their talent, but they're also wise well beyond their years. Also, shoutout to the floppy-ear hat!
These Warning sisters are amazing musicians, Dani can even play the Saxophone too. I am curious to know how many instruments each of them can play. Pau plays, drums, piano and keyboard, Ale Bass guitar, piano and keyboard. I wonder if Ale can play the violin?
Don’t worry, they have me so trained that the instant ‘Martirio’ starts the eyes well up cuz I know they’re going to pull the ol heartstrings. & ‘Revenant’ & ‘The End’ & …. Damn, they just have my number don’t they? 🤣
Yes, @flowersafterrainfall, you are totally right on your observation. Rock music here in Mexico 30:42 is and has been BIG for decades. I am a 53 Mexican from Mexico City; when I was just 6 I was listening to KISS and AC/DC (influenced by my older brother of 11), and then it came Queen... also loved some rock from the 60's, then all the rock of the 70ths as a child then the 80s as a teen, etc. We are a big city and big country in general, and although not everyone loves Rock here, for us who do love the Rock genre, it's been a loong wait to be once again captivated by a rock band, and personally, what a better way if they are also Mexican who happen to play mostly in English, that's the Rock I grew up with as I said, and many Mexicans love that fact too (but not all).
No worries about being emotional. I got emotional, too, toward the end of the video. It's just so amazing to see these young girls growing up to be professional rock musicians.
What other band can write a concept album as only their second album at such a young age. None other than The Warning. Great reaction and you are not the only one to get emotional from these young ladies. A lot of us watched them grow up on camera and in concerts so a lot of us think of them as our step kids.
They inspire me also, plus I really would like to see them succeed because I am very proud of them and their family!! Their organization is first class IMO, every time I had a problem with merchandise delivery, they solved it to my satisfaction right away!!!👏👏⚡️
This documentary and the 6 part Mayday in the Making videos, as well as all the vlogs they have posted, really help give you a sense of where they are coming from, how hard they have worked, what down to earth people they really are. These have all helped many of us make a connection (albeit one-way) with a band in a way most of us never have in the past. I think that is part of the appeal for many of us. Of course, none of this matters if the music is no good, but that is certainly not an issue with The Warning.
You are right , they are massively inspiring and motivating. They've motivated me to try for the nth time in my life to play music. I know a few people that have said they motivate them to be a better person. Sounds kind of generic, but it's the truth. This is why so many are passionate supporters of these ladies. Ive listened or watched every song of theirs, but have possibly spent as much time watching interviews and various non-musical content of them just being themselves. They are just a rare form of human and we're lucky to share this time with them. Thanks for the reaction.
This is a great doc it's even more impressive that it's in their second language very informative. They are such sweethearts so engaging and intelligent shout out to their parents. That song is Disciple OMV the live version at Teatro Met is amazing and worth a watch. Great reaction thank you. 🔥⚡
I saw someone post on one of The Warning vids (so I'm not taking credit for it) that "rock didn't die, it just moved to Mexico!" I thought about that when you were talking about the passion you have seen from Mexico for rock music. Hopefully that passion will make its way back to the US.
Writing a concept album in their early to mid teens amazing and it turned out so well! I love watching these behind the scenes no matter how we learn about them it's never enough we can't wait to learn more and hear more music from them!
Since you really like ONE OK ROCK you should check out the band Coldrain and the song Vengeance. The front man, Masato, is actually friends with Taka. Over the years while Taka was learning English he helped write the English lyrics since he's fluent in both languages.
The thing about "huge rock scene in Mexico", but it's not only Mexico. All of Europe, South America, Japan, Korea, ... Rock lives everywhere EXCEPT in the USA. Why? Perhaps the "music INDUSTRY" in the USA makes more money by signing untrained people cheap, teaching them to dance on stage with minimal clothes, then getting an audio tech to fix up their vocals with autotune or pitch correction. Hire a bunch of songwriting specialists who will take orders ("pop, not rock"). So they killed rock, or what remained of it after the christian conservatives of the 1980's got done stomping out the social criticism of the 1960's. 😢

@@jcparker500 I have seen and heard that Brother/Sister These Ladies are Beyond the "pro" players.. in Every way Thinkable !!!
Rule 1: no SpongeBob SquarePants..
Yes. They are the REAL HEROS in this story!!
They definitely should have gotten a Parents of the Year award
12:43 that song is Disciple. The live version from Teatro Metropólitan kicks ALL the ass. Do that version.
Yes, the live version is correct
Indeed!!!
The Warning will be one of the top bands in the world very soon ..🔥🤘
I think they are there already! This new album is going to rocket them to the top.⚡⚡⚡

Oh yeah, I never watch a The Warning documentary without a box of tissue within arm's reach. lol
If you got emotional with this one, just wait 'til you react to the 10 Year Anniversary video. 😭
Oh year bro iI hear you. The 10 Year Anniversary video wars hard. But the special Black Holes and Breath live from Pau killed me .
So you ramble … so what, you have something to say and I’m always right there with you; I agree with every word you said.

I donk speak english but i try understand any words.

I loved your insights. Please feel free to share them with us. What you are thinking or feeling because of their music is of great interest to me.
Liked your reaction but it was difficult to watch because the audio/video was out of sync. It plays havoc with my OCD.
i apologize, I'm still perfecting my editing skills 😅 but I compete understand what you mean

Now you have me curious about this radio show/podcast you talked about. Is it available to view/listen somewhere?
it's not a very professional show...but hopefully when we come back from hiatus, we'll have better quality.
First❤
why don't you call your little green friend "queenie", refering to the title song of their conceptalbum.
Hey I just wrote a (long) comment, but it's lost !?!? Why ???
not sure..I tried looking for it on my end, and didn't see anything :(
UA-cam just eats comments sometimes.
It happens if you refresh sometimes too soon after replying, or hit the back button, happens to me a lot.
