I am sure this model is now the dream of every late comer to this hobby. When I first started collecting aircraft models, this model was sold already. Now all I hope is that there will be a re-release of this one, even though I will settle with the Lufthansa 747-8 in new livery.
Another Awesome Review as always MiJit HD! You should contact EZ Toys and Gemini Jets about the scratch issue on your model and see if they can get you a replacement model, that's the least they can do especially when you paid $135 USD for a model, the last thing you want to have is quality issues on a great model such as this one. Make sure that you email EZ Toys and Gemini Jets the picture of the long scratch on the fuselage so you'll have evidence and they'll have proof. I just checked mine and so far, no quality issues and i have this model in my possession and will be doing a review on this model real soon.Despite the one flaw on your model, you still did an awesome job on this review and it's a good thing that you go into details about your model and help other collectors like myself spot flaws like this.I still would recommend this model for their collection.
+Triple7Diehard4ever Thank you!! I have emailed Gemini Jets and no response as of yet and I am yet to email EZToys. That's really good to hear your's turned out good. I'm really looking forward to your review of this model.
Hi! Awesome review, thanks. One question? Which brand makes the best 1:200 models...Gemini Jets, Inflight 200, JC Wings or Eagle? I think it´s Gemini, right?
What a fantastic model Matt. so detailed. i can't belive you been having quality control problems with some of yoiur models. as you said its not acceptable considering the amount of money customers pay for these models. also it annoys me when manaufacturers can't always get the accuracy right. i was saying to Triplesevendiehardforever about the Singapore airlines A350 where they got the colour of the engines wrong. again not acceptable. its getting to the stage now where i will not accept a model i puchased if it has some defects or the accuracy is not right
+Patrick Johnson Yes, it is absolutely unacceptable. I'm also getting to the point where I want to send any future models back. They're obviously not checking their models well enough and are slacking. My last complaints over the last 3 months to Gemini Jets and JC Wings about models which I just received have gone unnoticed which shows how much they respect and care about their customers to even acknowledge someone who has noticed a flaw. Not just that, I am detailed in my feedback and want to help so this doesn't happen to my future models or anyone else's.
The finish on the models has definately gone down hill in recent years as they pump them out of the factory and quality suffers as a result. Its a lottery if you get a good one these days and all depends on the retailer if they are willing to help out and exchanging thd model.
ralliart711 I think all retailers should check the models and send back any defected ones before selling them. My retailers are very good and they check all of the models. Infact 2 weeks ago I got an email from Jetwaymodels that the owner Nick, was replacing my model before sending it to me. I only had to wait another 5 days. It's all worth it when you don't have to do all of the running around yourself and getting it sorted.
Thank you! JC Wings use Gemini Jets' moulds so the model isn't any different. I have a favouritism towards JC Wings because of the plaque on the stand and the more custom boxes.
I was wondering if you could do a JetBlue Airbus a320 1:200 scale unboxing or when the JetBlue embraer 190 comes out can you do a unboxing of that pls :)
Marvoules video! I cant wait to see more videos. iim sorry about your scratched 747 8i ( i say sorry cause im canadian derp) i cant wait for my 3 747s and my 4 other models that i am reviewing ps can somebody tell me the code for aircraft registration
Hi, I love your aircraft review videos, they are very informative and entertaining at the same time. Keep up the great work. The reason for this comment is to ask if you were willing to sell this Lufthansa Boeing 747-8i model. I have been searching the web, but have not been successful in finding a model. I am sure you might be getting similar messages, but I would really appreciate it if you could let me know about your decision. Thanking you for taking the time to read this comment and I look forward to seeing more aircraft model reviews from you. Kindly, Rahul R.
+Rahul Raman Thank you very much for your kind comment, Rahul. Unfortunately I don't sell my models and if I did this would be one of the last I would consider selling because I like it too much. I also took a look around online for you but I got the same result as you did, nothing.
It is a pity that this Lufthansa 747-8 was selling so well. You cannot see this on the market now and there is only little prospect for the re-release by GJ. I would like to ask do you own any Phoenix 747 and would you recommend the Phoenix version of this LH 748?
Just like the Korean A380, fast seller and rare to find. I don't own any Phoenix 747's but with my experience I can safely say their quality isn't as good. I would recommend the Phoenix version based on the fact the Gemini version is sold out.
It's such a nice model, the Lufthansa livery fits really good with the 747. Just one question: Is this Model full made of metal because it looks like that. And a good Review als always. Liked!

For me, best model so far!
Such a beautiful model and so well-finished. I'm looking forward to receiving my Gemini Jets 200 Lufthansa A340-600; love the four-holers.
Definitely! Four-holers have always been the greatest aircraft.
Beautiful model, 747 the best!!!!!!!!

Does every gemini jet airplane models have landing gears?
Always great reviews ! Can I ask who do you think has the better quality Gemini or JC Wings ? Thanks !
Thank you! JC Wings use Gemini Jets' moulds so the model isn't any different. I have a favouritism towards JC Wings because of the plaque on the stand and the more custom boxes.
herpa or this gemini jets? gemini looks more detailed for me, pliss answer me
let it be herpes is plastic while Gemini is metal

Hey buddy, nice review! btw, still no info on planes with landing configuration?
+aigalaxy Thanks! Nope, not a clue which aircraft type will be next with a landing config.
can you do the British Airways a320 please?
I was wondering if you could do a JetBlue Airbus a320 1:200 scale unboxing or when the JetBlue embraer 190 comes out can you do a unboxing of that pls :)
+PandaBun123 I will consider a JetBlue A321 once it's released but I won't get any other JetBlue aircraft types.
Hey Mijit could you just do a side-by-side comparison of this with a 1:200 a380? I'm just interested how the two largest aircraft look together
I will consider it. Thanks for the idea :)

are diecast 1/200 models too heavy how much they weigh
+аслан авиа Not really. They roughly range between 500g-2Kg.

...must have....
+BulldogWithNukes Definitely!
on Saturday, i watched an emirates a380 land at Birmingham airport UK. it was so loud...
They can be quite loud. Sometimes they're almost like a 787.
yep!
It's such a nice model, the Lufthansa livery fits really good with the 747. Just one question: Is this Model full made of metal because it looks like that. And a good Review als always. Liked!
+Gamecop I completely agree! Yes, this model is full metal. Thank you!!
