❤️Hello friends, Mumbai is a fast paced city. Here people have no time to relax and have their meals. Everything is had on the go. People leaving their homes early in the morning for work usually make a quick stop over on the way and have their meals. And to the rescue of such people come some good Samaritans who start serving meals at 7 in the morning. These are small roadside stalls serving Authentic Maharashtrian Breakfast In Mumbai. You may call this Street Food but it is clean, hygienic, fresh and home cooked They serve Authentic Maharashtrian dishes like poha, sabudana khichdi, upma, sheera, ghavne, amboli and much more. The prices are unbelievable. They range between 25 to 30 rupees only. They even serve hot tea to liven up your day.
These stalls are there in every nook and corner of Mumbai, and if you come accross any one of them you must stop and have a quick bite. The breakfast usually starts at 7 am and ends at 10am. So please do not miss them.
This particular stall where we had breakfast is in Borivali West near the metro station and opposite SaiLee International school andCollege, and I would take this opportunity to thank a very sweet couple Suraj and Poonam who served us with so much warmth and love. We really appreciate their efforts.

Yes, all the dishes Poonam and Suraj prepare are really awesome. We are the residents of the nearby society and feel extremely lucky😇 that we can taste this yummy😍 breakfast almost daily. The popularity of these two has grown immensely in our locality because of the food and their humbleness. The dishes, as Sanjeev said, are pocket-friendly🤗 and super tasty. This is the best part about Mumbai. kisi bhi waqt kuch na kuch street food to mil hi jata hai. there used to be such vendors near Marol naka metro some time ago. Poha , Upma, Bhurji pav stalls opened up at 6:30 am and were sold out by 10 am. one guy used to make fresh stuffed parathas right in front of your eyes. he had options of aloo paratha, aloomethi paratha, gobhi paratha and he used to serve it with a small amount of chole and pickle. 2 parathas with chole and pickle was only Rs. 60. people used to line up for his parathas. but unfortunately he was told to move away. infact all these vendors dont function there anymore. I had seen such women long time near Fort and Nariman point area too during lunchtime. their business was between 12 noon till 3 pm. 2 large size maharashtrian type chapati, 1 dry sabzi, 1 gravy sabzi, rice and dal was for just Rs.150. and the sabzi and dal was open for second servings. Not only is the food pocket friendly but also very homely and delicious. I wish the govt would encourage such vendors and give them fixed spots near railway stations and metros. or large office spaces. it is good for both the vendors and consumers.
