JK rarely makes mistsakes… if he makes one, it’s only him who notices it. He has perfected his tone, pitch and breathing techniques. I don’t think we’d ever catch him with a voice crack, unless an intentional one. Right now he’s trying out a variety of songs in styles that you would otherwise never thought he’d sing and do a cover of. He has his own style and color but yet he is also a vocal chameleon adjusting to the vibe and style of the song.

You're completely missing Justin's point. He's not talking about technical perfection, which we know JK has. He's talking about when one allows for imperfections here and there in the vocal performance (e.g., breaks, cracks, cries, etc.), thereby intensifying the level of emotion. This communicates more depth to the listener and, in my opinion, draws them in even further than the technically perfect performance.

I genuinely wish certain artists would sing with the emotions that Jungkook does, or like Adele, the emotions just add a whole other level to the song. Also I love how vulnerable Jungkook allows himself to be in his singing.

Yes, definitely felt it. I cried to it the first 3 or 4 times I listened to this beautiful song sung by Jungkook. His voice did seem to crack slightly at the coffee word. I did feel he sung this with more emotion and softness than Harry's version (which, to my ear, was more of a powerful delivery). Thanks for reacting to Jungkook's version!
I love both renditions of this song, but I feel they definitely hit different from each other. I agree with you regarding each of their delivery of the song. Harry's was more powerfully delivered - it sounded like he's railing at God, Fate, what-have-you, just expressing the pain & turmoil. JK's rendition was softer yet no less powerful - he sounded like he's grieving, while also acknowledging & accepting that he's doing so if that makes any sense. His rendition is hitting a little bit harder at my heart, right now. 💜
I think jk miss army a lot also missing someone else he is use to being strongly in his life for years.

His versatility and skill as a vocalist is astounding especially considering that his covers are mostly in english and English isn't his first language...this was again another spectacular display of his talent...his ability to connect & make me feel emotions whenever he sings is so magical....he's that kind of vocalist. He's truly magnificent, beautiful inside and out, kind and humble and packed with so much talent.

Objectively: Jungkook sounds amazing, incredible.
Subjectively: Jungkook sounds amazing, incredible. The way he makes you feel the emotions, the way he paints with his voice, he is a true storyteller. And his amazing vocal techniques are just on the top. I'll just say, my own "preferences" will never interfere with what I think about Jungkook's singing and his voice, because he is special - he has something very magical about him. So even if he sang the newspaper, I'd gladly listen. Someone wrote under Jungkook's cover that his voice is "a miracle", because they stopped smoking cigarettes: "I get mezmerized I don't think about my addiction", and feel like they are meditating when listening to Jungkook. The fact that he can make so many people, outside of fandom, inside of fandom, just anyone, feel so much with his voice alone is incredible, and one of the most valuable things as a singer and artist. To touch people's heart, and that is what Jungkook has always been doing, and especially with this cover, he has moved so many. His voice is indeed a miracle.
I think he did a great job with maintaining the importance and focus of the lyrics, he didn't overpush it and stayed very true to his own voice. That’s what I really love about Jungkook, he has such a rich, enthusiastic and steady vocal arrangement with a great versatility in his singing skills. His lower tones are so beautifully balanced between the soft breathiness and the fullness of his powerful rich sounding vocals, I really loved the slightly added rasp into it as well.

Jungkook is so incredibly talented. His versatility and vocal skills are crazy. One of his strengths is that he is able to make these vocal adjustments according to what the song requires like adding some rasp as he did in this cover. I've listen to many different covers either from boy bands or solo artists depending on how they perform the song and like when you hear a different version of a song it seems new to you. JK's voice is so unique to him and his range is so beautiful and soulful. With bts they all have different voices and ranges that you are drawn to them and I don't love them for their voices but for who they are on the inside. I felt the emotion that JK was showing while he was sing, It was from a place that was so personal to him and it did an amazing job with the song.

He is breathtakingly beautiful and his voice is heavenly mesmerizing.
I like both the original and the cover, it makes me feel different emotions. IDK if it sounds stupid but, Harry feels like he is telling it to himself and drowning in sadness while thinking of that person and jungkook's version feels like he's saying it to that person; wanting/pleading them to feel/understand what he feels.
We didn't get Jungkook’s lower register more often. His full chest voice is so beautiful, he is a true balladier.

Harry's is more of like telling to himself and Jungkook's is like he is saying to someone desperately. Jungkook's raw emotions is working more intimately with the storytelling of the song. @@Baffimanoj if you're talking about begin, euphoria and my time, those are only sung by JK but their still BTS' songs even though they're JK's solos. They're a part of BTS' album. Still with you is the only Jungkook song that's completely his and not in any way a part of BTS or their albums. But it was released on SoundCloud and not on yt, Spotify and doesn't even have an MV neither does Jungkook have a Spotify account. An actual solo debut will be for eg, Jennie's solo... it has an mv, she performed it in music/award shows and it's been released under her own Spotify account, same with the other blackpink members. Rapline in particular can be called solo artists cause they've their own album and collabs. Jungkook has yet to debut as an solo artist.

Thanks for the reaction! 🙏 He released it on the anniversary of the last concert of the Love Yourself tour that ended two years ago before the pandemic started. Since then, they have not been able to meet ARMY face to face in a music concert yet. Considering what JK said during their latest online concert a few weeks ago about losing his motivation and passion during the pandemic and that his misses performing and seeing the fans face to face, you can feel what he is going through. JK said that the fans should read the lyrics of the songs he covers. This song seems to resonate with him.
Yes I felt the emotions he was singing with. I had chills over me the whole time. I heard the cries too. It was clearly very emotional and to a deep personal level meaning for him. He was letting out his emotions. I could envision him singing this while crying with eyes closed, tears. His voice is so so beautiful. Actually it can't be described in words. And it was so emotional.

Thank you Justin, I was waiting to hear from you, not openion but no matter how many reactions I see, I love to hear it from you. JK was incredible. I think JK has this innate ability to emote easily. You might think he was emotional when he sang this but I think all he needs is to just take it all in, a cosy half lit room with some candles and he is ready to go. Justin is actually correct, when I first heard his cover I also expected his voice to be a little bit like when a person sobs or in a verge to cry...so I also expected that in the end!!! But Jungkook has soooo stable vocals, that I don't know anyone has!!? He always outshines himself...even when he is performing a hardcore performance , he has stable vocals....Hats off!!

This is a very emotional,. Knowing what has been happening in his personal life and Criticism he has been receiving due to his tats and piercings. You feel his pain crying out. JK is very POLITE & Respectful (Korean Culture) he’s SHY personality (you see it in he’s audition tape) shows how he never voluntarily speaks out, in front of the camera, (Unless he’s playing around & teasing his brothers) he’s done a lot of covers, so you know he really gets into the Lyrics of the songs he listens too and through music is how he speaks, this song’s lyrics was speaking for him deep down, it’s why you and countless of others, (Army’s, Vocal Coaches, You Tube Reactor’s ) just love this he’s rendition of this song, I know I do 100%, I want to cry every time I hear it, kudos to his vocal coach.

I absolutely agree with your comments. JK is undeniably and incredibly talented yet I often find myself wanting more imperfection from his recorded songs. I have heard it in stage performance videos but it would be amazing to capture that same emotional expression in a studio recording. 💜💜
