FL Studio's INSANE AI Stem Splitter
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 чер 2024
- The new AI Stem Splitter in FL Studio revolutionises sampling and music production. It can extract or remove vocals from songs and extract Drums, Instruments and Bass tracks for powerful sampling and remixing. It's based on a machine learning AI model with the results being dependent on the source.
It's one of the best features to be added to FL Studio in many years and brings so many opportunities to music producers and DJs in particular. I think it sounds as good or better than most of the AI Stem Separators and vocal extractors I've tried.
I'm giving away 3 copies of FL Studio Producer Edition (or $99IL VCash).

5:24 - The way you just casually dropped in that power tip, of how to turn an isolated audio into a midi clip using Newtone, was so classy. 👍
Worth paying for Newtone at least (I only have the producer edition, so Newtone is not included for free).
@@inzanity7212 You can do that without Newtone. Just load sample into Edison and click Tools - Dump score to piano roll
Hi, pls i wanna talk with u
Does it sound like it’s under water like most separators
@@PaulFisherMediano
Dude, this is a game-changer. Seriously, 20 years ago this would be unthinkable
I still can't believe it until I get my hands on it
This tech has been around for several years now. There’s been a max for live plugin called spleeter available since 2020
It is indeed mental, WOW.
@@Whywhatwherehowwhentons of spleeter-like websites have been available since 2020 aswell.
RX
Being able to do this straight in the DAW is honestly a game changer.
It really is!
Very well put together video (per usual). I never thought these new features would be something Image-Line would develop for us. Makes me so glad I made the right decision to learn FL.
Seeing Image-Line jump into machine learning like this with a free feature is just so cool and affirming!
Man, this will make remixes a whole lot easier. Such a great feature really. I may try this out!!
This just blows my mind! WOW FL IS ON FIRE, the clarity is just phenomenal, I cant wait to test this out
Man FL studio is on the absolute takeover! i wish other companies had so much love, drive, devotion and such a great vision for their DAWs.
They're one of the few DAWs to actually push boundaries and try to innovate and I'm impressed how active they are with their stock plugins. Most other DAWs seem like they just want to be as industry standard as possible and don't go all out like Image Line when it comes to their stock plugins.
@@urphakeandgey6308 Not to mention that they are one of the very few DAWs to be extremely optimized. I use Reaper for my live band and it's so poor with artifacts and glitches. Also FL does it in a really beautiful package imo.
FL seems like the Adobe of music production
@@TheM0nsterX And it looks pretty, too. If I had to use a DAW that looked like Microsoft Excel, I don't know how inspired I would feel.
To be fair, the only DAW I've ever used is FL Studio, since version 4. I don't even feel like trying another DAW.
@@TheM0nsterX hardly a good comparisson. anyone thats used adobe for an extensive period of time can tell, this is not only an insult, but such a bad comparisson, there are hardly any worse comparisons you can make. one is a giant company that gives no crap about their software, while milking their customers with subscription based thievery, introducing more bugs into things that were never broken before and buying out better competitors, that make software similar to theirs and shutting them down. making it worse and reselling it under subscription thievery again until they discontinue the product. all the while innovating as little as possibly on their own software.
bro, do we even live on the same planet for you to make such a statement 😂😂 and i dont even use FL, still seeing the need to correct your insult towards it, because ive rarely seen things as untrue as that comment.
This is seriously a gamechanger for my workflow
I do covers on youtube and I've been using other stem splitters on internet but this new feature is a huge improvement
I love you , Imgane line
Thanks for this video ja demo! You made me instantly update from version 20-something to 21.2. It's honestly insane how good the separation is! Exactly what i needed for my current recovery project where projects files are lost but i only have old wav exports to work with. Works like magic.
I started on FL back in 1998 and have stuck with it ever since. To see how far its come is astounding. This AI Stem splitter addition is game changing as I've been using Serato studio to split and transfer. Now having it all in one platform.. truly a gem.
Micheal I am an afrobeat producer from Nigeria and a copy of FL will change my life. I have been a subscriber and it's been more than 4 years of watching and learning from you. I basically learnt mixing and how to use FL studio from this channel. Thanks for the knowledge so far
Amazing! The fact that this is possible is mind blowing and I can't wait for the future! Thanks for the Info Micheal and Tribute to you and your team! Good to see you again👍
I cut out so many scenes in this video of me just shaking my head in disbelief. It really is shocking that these features are just standard now. I would have given anything to have this when I started using the software. I'll pass on the thanks to my wife and my Discord team. I'm mostly a one-man band on UA-cam!
@@inthemix Well we respect what you do and the community you have worked towards none the less. Thank you for helping others learn through your content and for what you stand for. Been following your channel since I started fl studio on both my accounts on YT and I am grateful for your efforts in composing these videos for us!😸
Thanks Michael! 🤩 Both the tutorial and the giveaway are fantastic! Thanks a lot for sharing! 💪
I'm waiting for the final version to go and test those out and actually apply in my workflow (especially the stem extracting tool and that juno emulation vst) Thanks for the video and insights, Michael!
mind. blowing. i wouldnt have noticed without u bc i dont update that often tbh. what lofi melodies i can extract with this now is beyond my imagination, so excited!
I have been testing this beta one since its release date and have to say Fl nailed it. Great review
All the more reason to purchase FL studio.. this is THE most wanted feature for performers who wish to extract parts of a song, and for anyone who wants to breakdown a masterpiece and learn how it was composed and mixed.
This definitely blows my mind! Being able to extract professional tracks and learn from it or remix them! A game changer
This is crazy, thanks for sharing
This is amazing. Fl gets better and better everytime.
It's great to see you, hope you're doing well! I appreciate your work!
Man, like you were, I'm truly baffled ! This is amazing !!! Woooooow! So glad to have this lifetime free update !! Thanks for sharing it !
What a time to be alive! Amazing progress, FL
FL Studio, the gift that just keeps on giving ❤
Fl studio is so fkn crazy. And still they offer free life updates. Image line are the goats
Thank you so much Michael for this excellent video. This is a fantastic tool that FL Studio offers to his users. It's amazing!
Ive been using this for a couple if weeks and its a complete game changer for analysing reference tracks. You can get forensic with or now. Chop a couple of bars of a bassline up, throw it into newtone and export to midi to work on variations etc, the possibilities are pretty much endless
good idea.
I just purchased FL Studio and I installed Beta 3. I still don't see the Stem Separation Feature. Any suggestions?
This is gonna be the best tool for me to create mashups!!❤🔥
This is insane, this year I made some covers from 80's and 90's classics, and to get the stems from the originals, I had to use web services with queues of 3 to 5 hours. Fruity Loops is the best DAW not for what it is right now which is already mindblowing, but for the constant updates and new features they add every month.
That stem splitter will come in super handy. Thanks for the video.
😮😮thats insane how good the quality is 🤯🤯
The separation sounds soo clean😮
So great to know this as I had recently played around with Serato's stems so this is huge for FL. Will upgrade asap!!
Congratulations Michael on 1 million subscribers!!!
Thank you!
Thank You Bro for organising the giveaway🙌🙌🔥🔥.
This is impressive!
Not, that there are online tools out there that can do stem separation already, but now one got the entire workflow in his DAW.
I just combined the separation process with NeuralNote (which is audio to midi as open source) and it makes it way way easier to recreate or remix a track.
Great videos as always, I appreciate you providing this content absolutely free! 🔥 you’re the real hero
*_Great! Thx to you and Image Line!_*
👍 - also for the YT algo! 😊
Gawd dayum, these new features are sick as hell
That is one way to phrase it!
To be honest, FL Studio is FINALLY stepping up their game and I couldn't be happier with it. If they'll step up the "user-friendliness" with sampling and exporting the samples or saving them on the go, FL will truly be unmatched right now.
What do you mean? SliceX and Edison can do that. And there are other workarounds like render as audio clip.
This is truly a game changer, wow!
"Gamechanger" has been overused but yes. Absolutely a gamechanger for remixing/sampling/resampling/DJing!
fire review!!! As always!!! quick question; I'm purchasing FL studio at the end of this month; I'm getting the producer version
Will I be able to upgrade to get the stem separation feature? Thanks.
OMG.....this is the best thing I've seen today...thank you Michael thank you Image line...long live the FL geng 😉
I've been neglecting to update FL for a little while, will definitely be needing to take care of that. great video
This is wild!!! For producers this is definitely game changing. Gonna be fun getting drums for sure now.
First thing I thought of 😅
@@intrakitproductionsif you weren’t thinking drums you thinking nothing
Hey, great video. What camera are you using. This looks great.
Thanks In The Mix..Awasom 🔥❤
The small issues that you mentioned, even though they are true, I feel that they are outweighed by the usefulness of the tool. I'm very excited to get my hands on it!
I got really excited about this last night and spent about an hour stripping acapellas from all my favourite tracks.
Love the vids, and will continue to watch along my journey. Got a question regarding Vocodex, is it possible to invert the filter, so that it ducks the carrier signal, making space for vocals while preserving the other frequencies that dont clash with the vocals. I believe trackspacer is fairly similar as far as its operation, but I unfortunately dont have that plugin.
Best fl tutorial channel! many many thank you
Thanks this has brought me back into creating music 💯🔥
I have a feeling a lot of people who would've otherwise never used FL Studio will now use it on occassion just for this. This is impressive.
Lmaoo I’m one of those people purchasing it right now just for this, would have never touched it otherwise
Yeah no I want to pay for it ..
This is actually so cool
1 million subscribers here should have their Notifications turned on for this beautiful channel. If not already, please do. Have been following this channel since ages & we've come a long way ❤️
Thank you! UA-cam notifications are a bit crazy lately…
Wow I watched this earlier and I was like ok its a kool feature but then this morning I am working on an old song that I only have a stereo track of it, was starting to rebuild the whole track and realized wait a minute this new stem extraction is freaking awesome, I will now be able to take out my horrible vocals from waay back and fix 4 of my old songs that I only have cd quality stereo tracks of. Sooo glad I got into FLStudio !!!!
Great video. A quick side question... I see you use the DT 1990 pro here, but earlier it seemed that you switched to use the VSX. I'm very curious, because I'm just about to decide between the two to buy one. Can I ask which one would you recommend for mostly orchestral film score mixing? Thanks in advance :)
FL Studio is the gift that keeps on giving. Great stuff.
As a fairly recent user of FL Studio, I didn't expect much in terms of lifetime updates but damn, this is quite substantial. Thats a tool I'd have expected to pay big bucks for.
This is very exciting to me as a beginner trying to learn!
I was really hoping you'd use it on something with screaming vocals, because that seems to be what these things struggle with, in my very narrow and limited experience using them. Using these splitters on metal has always been one of my tests. Ultimate Vocal Remover 5 so far has done the best for me in that situation.
Fl studio really leveling up my prod/mastering skills with these new additions! love itt
thank you brother for coming back 😢
I didn’t go away!
That is scarry good!!
This is mindblowing
crazy. thanks.
U r the best.
All ur videos it's amazing ❤
Thank for video👌 .
But I very need to know is it important to scale the drum beat . I mean to be tuning to and match with strnings scale . Or not ?
Man, I used to use FL all the time. I am an Ableton user now, but these updates are making FL look kinda shiny not gonna lie. I'm happy with RipX and Ableton for now because it does the same thing, plus I get the audio stretching manipulation and algorithms of ableton, but dang. Live 12 better be REALLY good to keep up with this.
I'm not one that likes to test beta releases, so I will wait till it comes out. I already own a great separator, Demix Pro. It also leaves some artifacts, however if I continue to separate stems, the artifacts are reduced and then I use the Fruity limiter and does a decent job of removing the artifacts. I will also use the mod X on the sample properties and remove some of the high frequencies until I satisfied with the stem. It takes some work, but so does all work done in Fl Studio. There's no one-click solution. Aside from that, another outstanding video from the master. Thanks Michael. You're the best as usual.
I can't wait to get my hands on this update
Interesting video! What FL version is this?
Damn. Your Camera and Video is CRISP AF😮
Wow this is amazing
this is amazing! an education in itself
exceptional
Isso é revolucionário, e está na ferramenta beta😮 Imagine quando for oficial ! A image LINE surpreende sempre ! Saudações do Brasil ❤
Saudações da Escócia! Eu estou aprendendo português.
@@inthemix Congratulations my friend, your portuguese is great😎 Greetings From Brazil ☺️
um BR aqui haha o canal desse cara é bom demais, muito técnico e fácil de aprender ao mesmo tempo!!
O Michael é foda, saudações do Brasil! 😅
It's official now 💯
Unbelievable. I might be able to use this to go back and fix old tracks that I lost project files for!!!!
Wowww this is supper great, i can't wait any longer 😂. You are great
AMAZING this new update! When I have extracted vocals in the past with a good extracter, it did not really pick up vocals with autotune (of course it sees it as a Synth). Is that also the case with this one or is there another way to get around that?
There are a few websites which offer upto 4 stems for free - Bass, Drums, Other & Vocals. And I think for free models their quality is very good. I just wish FL could integrate a 6 stem separation model adding lead guitar and piano too which some websites do provide. Thank you Michael :)
Insane update for remixing😳
that was a neat video
Fantastic.
Dude, this update has been mind-blowing
They gave us so many wonderful features in such a nice package
It'll be amazing to see what people will get up to in the hands of someone truly capable
The future is here and it's exciting
First of all this is insane💯🔥, secondly do you think they'll do some more changes/fixes to make it better after all these reviews on this beta testing tool? Can it actually extract vocals from any song?😅😅
This solves like 98% of my problems. This is insane!
It will be very interesting to listen how Stem Splitter works with some intensive metal tracks like Rammstein - Engel. Absolutely amazing feature for remixers.
no shot this comes "for free" with the lifetime updates. this is insane! Thanks for sharing, can't wait for the official release of this.
Paid a grip for Izotope RX Audio sometime back to do this very thing so it's just incredible to have it built into FL Studio now!!
Thank You
I'm just really hoping they're going to add MPE compatibility soon, 21.2 looking good so far though
Looks fun
Thanks Mike...🙏🏾
I have been using Izotope's RX to isolate vocals for a remix, but it keeps a bit of instruments in the track. I hope this gives better results! I'm gonna wait for the version to be released out of beta. That noise gate trick looks super useful, by the way, I'm gonna try it!
This will be pretty awesome to play with. But, on a related note, I've wanted to ask someone: being that you can actually play instruments well, do you ever actually use loops/samples yourself? And if so, in what context? My music theory knowledge isn't great, but I rarely ever use anything besides one-shots from the loop bundles I've got. It's a "if I didnt come up with these parts of the song, is it really my song?" kind of feeling.
This is how AI should be used. To do good and making remixing easier :D
Will do you a video about the mastering AI as well, or its not yet available to try? curious how that one works.
HelloMichael and thank you for another brilliant video. I’m going to exhibit my 70 year old naïveté- how do stems differ from the original, tracks? I read about the importance of extracting stems for mastering, etc, but again, why not use the separate tracks (if available). Thx.
This is scary powerful 😳
Great video- thank you 🙏 FL Studio is truly the best daw out there. Technology has just come so far, it really is amazing!
i just tried this and it's so wild
