Very nice indeed. It was interesting to get a context on the history of the "ball". Keep it up, please :)
Thanks😉
Top notch visual aids for explaining the system! Great video. It would be very cool to see a video on the wire arrest system too. Have always wondered how those work
The details of recovery system is going to be one of my next videos😉
I have no idea where are you finding those interesting things about aircraft carrier. Another great video. :) And will be another soon! I can't wait! :) Great job X-Planed!
I just recently found your videos and find them extremely informative and love your CGI animations. I look forward to seeing future videos.
Thank You. Hope You subscribed😉
Awesome video, great information and well presented. Thank you!
Thank You
You really are the best explainer of things. I've watched the Navy's official channel and they don't do as good as you.
Wow thank You for these words. Hope You subscribed😉
Very well explained 👍
Thanks Mate😉
Thank you! Ive learned so much
You’re welcome😉
Every aircraft carrier innovation into the 1950's was of British design. Angled flight deck , steam catapult , mirror landing system . First Jet landing and take off. Watching this , one would think it was the Americans
Awesome video Brother
Great video, hope you will make explanation in-depth about The Island. Aircraft Carrier's superstructure.
Good idea😉
Cover the new system! Part 2!
It is done😉
So is he still alive? I love the vids!
I am😉 New video is coming soon
@@x-planed ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Always love yours Xplaned video,
So what is that kind of switches thing LSO holding on theirs hand?
Thanks. It controls the lights on the FLOLS. Also holding pickle switch above his head is a sign to the tower and the deck crew that he requests a clear deck
I feel that this will make weak pilots but I do understand what this will do to help people land safely I think that you can relate it to shooting in ILS approach with and using auto pilot. Your still flying the airplane but your using the knobs . I prefer flying it by hand but it’s nice to have that back up.
Conversely if you always use auto pilot I feel it weakens you and can put you in a scary position.
That’s why some airlines require a particular number of hand held landings per month from the pilots
The IJN adopted the optical landing system at the first.
Now where is that „next video“ about the following system ?
In progress. It’s coming soon
