I love this makes you feel like you really was with him. Really feel like you get to know the real him. This is what people want from the stars. To feel like they have a peace of their life and lifestyle. Probably one of the best videos I've ever seen on UA-cam. I'd love to see more stars do this. 😊
As a 60 yr old , i was raised on cars like this. I am a Ford man although I like most makes. I started working on these as a mechanic trainee in 70s. You should have mentioned how you cold start a carburetor equipped car. Touching the gas pedal to set the choke and hi idle. My son is a mechanic and owns his own shop. He is talking a total different language when he talks to me about repairing new cars. LOL I love your channel and most of your characters.
Such a beautiful automobile! I’ve got a 1972 Cinnamon Bronze Catalina sedan (not a hardtop) I’m working on. I call it The Cinnamon Roller. It’s the car I made my first solo voyage in after getting my license. So far we’ve replaced the 2-Jet system with an electronic choke Quadrajet & a four barrel intake, and replaced the points with HEI. The 400 really purrs now. I plan on fully restoring it to showroom condition. It’s a base model so it has manual windows, manual locks, and an AM radio. One thing it does have is that effortless power steering along with that smooth ride quality. The A/C controls are actually pretty similar in my car.
First car was a 1972 blue Cadillac Sedan Deville and all of MY DJ equipment fit in the trunk. Got my license in 1974 and while I really love my 1980 Trans Am pace car, there was no car I ever owned that handed more people their asses than the innocuous 1981 Olds Cutlass station wagon that was originally built with a diesel engine. This car was about the size of a Ford Escape. When I found it, the engine had been changed out to an Olds rocket 455 because it was the only thing that would mate up with the 400 transmission. While I owned it I converted it to electronic ignition, beefed up the tires, spring loaded shocks, and this car would just tear it up. It would do 135 mph 2/3 into the gas pedal. I never had the nerve to find out what the top speed was but let me tell you that many cubes in that small of a vehicle and I could leave just about anything in the dust. When I wanted to get somewhere in a hurry that's the car I always jumped in. I took it to my family's home for Easter one year cause I had to get back Easter Sunday evening to work in State College PA, a hundred miles north and no four lanes. I passed 17 cars in that 2 Hour Drive. I really liked that car.
Joshua Gooden. My dad had a old Ford ranger. Then a while ago my dad was turning off, and a idiot who was texting hit him at 90 miles. The only thing that happened to my dad was that he got some cuts and bruises.
Well you don't feel anything when you are the one that gets crashed into, but when you are the one that gets suddenly decelerated you have a way higher risk of serious injury than in newer cars.
I have a 67 imperial I hit an rv while backing up and I didn’t know that until my friend told you have dented the rv when I stepped out to look at the bumper nothing happened...
Apologizing for your window? You California boy!! In the MidWest, our windows freeze shut, and cracking ice with your fist sounds the same as cracking the glass with your fist. So, it's a gamble every time you try to beat it loose.
old days was better, and that holds a lot of truth. stuff back then were made with such fine quality and made to last for decades, unlike the things that break within seconds or months.
Oh Jeff! you're going around my old neighborhood I lived in that area back from 1977 to 1999 and got my first car in 1983, a 71 Ford Pinto! LMAO ! I used to take the Flyaway to go to LAX. and all the old areas of Balboa Blvd LOL I'm in Thousand Oaks now and you take me back to the good old days of REAL cars. My mom had a Mercury station wagon ,all white and it was a boat! LOL Thanks for showing us this beauty. Merry Christmas!
yo Jeff your the only guy who could pass for someone who smokes but don't smoke a a calm guy tough guy nice guy bad guy funny dude don't know how ya do it but u do it
I love 70s land barges, my first car was a 1970 Cadillac Coupe Deville. I had to turn the key and the pull the clothes hanger under the dash to start it🤣 it was metallic 70s green with a white vinyl top and tan interior, the chrome was the best part of the car.
The old jack was also used to break tire down to remove it from the rim, Cup holders are built into the glovebox door. Beware. Can't be used while moving.
That guy in the white car at the end heard you say the tickets were limited and floored it to get home and order before they were all sold out. Ya, that's it. ;)
I just was watching the three Tenors and noticed that Achmed looks strikingly like L. Pavarotti. Thanks Jeff for doing what you do and I haven't forgotten your trip to the Fair in Palmer Alaska!!
Some people might think why does someone need so many cars, well you don't, but for people like Jeff fa fa,each car tells a different story and provides a different driving experience, you can tell how passionate he is about his work and his cars. For myself digital photography has been my passion for many years, I have more cameras than I need ,but just love using different cameras and glass for photography, each camera in essence does the same job as a car does but the feeel, features and photograph experience are different. Speaking of photography experience, the reason I don't use my phone as a camera is that it doesn't have a photography experience, and if you don't agree, I will say, silence I kell you!.
You were spoiled. lol. as the 5th child of 7, I bought my 1st car at 15 1/2 yrs. old myself, paid every cent for it..and as as the same age as you Jeff(months apart) guess what it was? A 1969 Plymouth Barracuda..the longer style, before the 'Cuda style of the 70's. Wasn't even able to drive it home myself..my dad had to for me, as it was 2 more months before I could legally get my license in my state, which I did soon as I was able. Had to buy my own insurance too..as my older sisters ruined me getting put on parents policy, with their antics. A little slanted 6 cyl., that great 225 from Chrysler, with the '3 on the tree' 3 speed on the column manual tranny. It was a great car, and one I'm sorry I ever sold.
Whaaaa?! U called Peanut, Achmed nd Walter 'dummies'. Nooo, Jeff - they're puppets cuz; if they're dummies then they would only be as dumb as their handler. Nd ur the GREATEST ventriloquist ever. Omg, Achmed ordering frm Starbucks - EPIC!!! Those 3 r MY most fave of ALL. Love nd hugs to u nd ur family. Merry Christmas! 🎅🎁
That was sad when they 'boo'd' you for towing the school mascot with your beautiful car!! :). Kids just don't appreciate these beautiful boats, they bring a huge smile to my face! :)
Yup, these cars were disc in the front drums in the rear. I had a 1978 Ford LTD Brougham many years ago with the big 460 V8. It needed lots of work, but it was heavily optioned like this car. And it was blue with a blue interior.
My Bro ended up with the old Caddy years later...could not keep up with things breaking down so he planted it in his Mother in Laws yard in Atascadero , Calif.....lol....
Jeff ordering coffee as achmed was hilarious!!😆😂
I love this makes you feel like you really was with him. Really feel like you get to know the real him. This is what people want from the stars. So cute! You're so excited about driving that old car! I can feel your excitement! LOL. You go, Jeff!
Beanie Spiritwhitefox p
They make a spray that makes an old car smell like a new car!!! That is likely what happen before it was put on sale.
Walter would love that car!
I lost it when you started ordering coffee in Achmed's voice. I was on the verge of laughing my lung out.😂

Apologizing for your window? You California boy!! In the MidWest, our windows freeze shut, and cracking ice with your fist sounds the same as cracking the glass with your fist. So, it's a gamble every time you try to beat it loose.
That was fun to watch. Interesting to see "celebrities" as normal people.
old days was better, and that holds a lot of truth. stuff back then were made with such fine quality and made to last for decades, unlike the things that break within seconds or months.

The trash bin Jeff mentioned with the bags on either side brought back memories for me. I remember those things.
Never get tired of enjoying laughs with Jeff. Can't wait for you to make a trip to little old San Antonio, Tx

To be period correct, it wasn't "pleather". It was Ricardo Mantalban and " Rich Corinthian Leather" with rolling r's. Love his accent.
