- This is a GoPro edit of our ski trip we took in February 2012 for our Honeymoon. Unfortunately there was only a 20" base at that point, but Tahoe is a beautiful place and we would love to go back some day and ski some powder.
Ausgezeichnett! All my favorite Tahoe spots!
Great music choices, too!
cant wait to be back home I am in florida but heading that way to ski my life away.. I do 100 days a year
2:33 - Holy crap, I would not ski that. Also, I am very slow and inelegant in the moguls. Nice edit- I love skiing
It's actually not as difficult as the rocks make it seem. The snow was "Sierra Cement", which can make things tricky, but you just apply the same techniques that you learn on moguls and groomers. All you need is a friend who will push you out of your comfort zone.
What are your top two hills and why? I've pretty much only gone to Squaw (and love it). Wondering where I should go next season.
I really enjoyed Kirkwood and Mt. Rose. I like scaring myself a little, and they both have some pretty gnarly terrain. They both had better snow than the other resorts we visited as well, but conditions were less than optimal at every resort in the area the year we went. If you like the ritzy feel with lots of blue runs, Northstar and Heavenly are the place to be.
+Weston Curtis Great input, thanks. I'm more like you, I look for good snow and exciting runs... My wife is just learning so I think she's more concerned with the hotel room than the runs.
My Rose is the best
