Client Videos: Target Training

Target training aims to teach an animal to touch an object with a specific part of their body for a reward. It is foundational to other behaviors. In this video, my client is following a process I learned through an online clicker training class, which had a cat touch a sticky note as the target. Eventually, one would wean the cat off the use of the sticky note so that the cat would touch the desired target, which could be a person's hand or foot, a door, or a light switch. The possibilities are endless!
