My son gave me tickets to see you in Davenport, Iowa for my birthday. I never thought I would ever have the chance. Dream come true! Best b.d. present EVER!!🤗
I was so lucky , always wanted to see alan parsons live!, waited about 40 +years , Im so lucky to have been there to see him , Hes not getting around well as we all arent, But he pushed thru to put on one heck of a show , still sounds perfect! Thank you alan and your talented friends !
I saw APP back in the 90s at Darien Lake outside of Buffalo NY. What a very special treat. So cool that he's touring again. Consider it a privilege to see such a talented musician. Great music producers rarely become great recording artists, but he is one of the rare ones, along with Daniel Lanois and Rupert Hine.
Great show all you have to do is Bluetooth it to your favorite speakers and use an EQ on your phone and set it to your ears content and it sounds great😮
I'm just speechless, what a wonderful band. Thank you so much for this, Joel, for those of us who probably won't be able to see them live, this is such a treat to enjoy xxx
@@JoelYancey I'm a newcomer to this wonderful band and haven't had the pleasure of seeing them live, but I also noticed that about them. Makes for a great live sound.
❤❤❤❤❤ Wow!!! Great show! Thanks for posting!! Next year!!! Hopefully, they'll come back to Nashville next year! Missed them by one night this year. I will never forget when 'I Robot' came out!
I know, right! I had no expectation that this would be one of the best concerts I've ever seen. FYI just went down the rabbit hole with your channel. Very funny. Need an update on Manderbach 😂
@@JoelYancey THANKS FOR THE LOVE FOR OUR CHI HUA HAU MANDERBOK. BUT THAT MEAN LIL BUGGER PASSED AWAY LAST YEAR. ALAN PARSONS PUTS ON A GREAT SHOW, AND ITS ALWAYS MUSICALLY SUPERB!
37:11 correction: the song name is "Don't Let It Show" (from the same LP "I Robot), not "Day After Day (The Show Must Go On)." Great upload btw. I adore APP (RIP Eric Norman Woolfson).
Alan Parsons: keyboards, additional vocals, acoustic guitar Jeff Kollman: lead guitars, additional vocals Tom Brooks: keyboards Todd Cooper: saxophone, additional vocals Dan Tracey: rhythm guitars, additional vocals Guy Erez: bass guitar, additional vocals Danny Thompson: drums, percussion P. J. Olsson: lead vocals
Thanks - I was wondering who was the lead guitar player. Ian Biarnson's unerring sense of melody made his solos with APP truly memorable. Definitely a favorite for me ❤
Never in the history of music has so much smart music been played by such a bunch of scruffy musicians. I bet none of these guys would attend their own daughters or indeed grand daughters weddings dressed like this, so why subject ones high paying audience to much a aesthetic nightmare? Sorry guys, the time to finally grow up was at least 20 years ago.
Well to be fair, Alan himself always looks nice, he wears smart jackets and vests. As for the others, I can't say I really noticed what they were wearing, since I was enjoying the fabulous music so much. I guess they are from the Patti Smith School Of Scruffy Looking Rock Stars :) Jeff Tweedy, another of my favourites, is also in this category. You should read the comments about his recent appearance on the Stephen Colbert show; people were asking if he was one of the janitors, or if he was there to fix the toilet :)
Guitar player can't sing to save his life! When he sang, I wouldn't want to be with you, he was way out of tune and all over the place. He wouldn't even make it through the prelims of American Idol.
1.)You couldn't even get the title of the song right 2.) There was nothing wrong at all with his intonation 4.) What year were you a judge on American Idol? Yeah, that's what I thought...
Super show!!! Momma even got us backstage. Truly a night to remember. Thank you, Lori 🙂

Same, been a huge fan since the early 80’s and saw them live 3 years ago. Glad I had the experience.
I sow him 16 years ago in my country, El Salvador. Now I live in NY, and I will attend the next event in Westbury.
I just want to say thank you so much for sharing this! 😊

I know right, I love his voice, although a lot of people don't, and he has surrounded himself with a wonderful band of talented people
Time is one of the most beautiful/saddest songs ever recorded, and no one could ever do a better job with those vocals than P.J.
Thanks for gifting us this recording !
Happy to be of service :)
Please come back to Youngstown Ohio. Your show in 2016 was one of the best concerts I have ever seen.
Great show! Thanks for posting!!! I would Love to see them live someday!!!

I saw this show in Peachtree City, Georgia June 29th (last night). Thank you Joel for this fine video!!!
Such a great show! Loved that every instrumentalist was also a singer.

I do hope you get the chance to see them! It raised the bar for me, for this genre of music.

I Robot. My favorite.

Dont Answer Me is such a great song!
Thanks to Bill Collins for turning me onto this wonderful band in about 1982.

Awesome.
When do they come to Europe, to Amsterdam?

Fixed. Thank you!
Been waiting for three years for the rescheduled Ojai, California show from August 2021.
Danke.❤und UA-cam lobe ich auch. Vielen Dank.
Excellent
37:11 - 'Don't Let It Show', not 'Day After Day'.
Fixed. Thank you!
Four favorites:
1. Dont Answer Me
2. Day After Day
3. Dont Let It Show
4. Time
I like the old lineup better though.
"Don't Let it Show" was recorded by Pat Benatar. I had no idea it was their song!
Good stuff.
Wow awesome.....id of wanted to stand and dance too much for that crowd though....
What happened to Steve Murphy on drums and vocals? Alan Parsons took a step backward with this lineup.
한국 공연은 안 오나요?
❤❤❤
Would be great to see them in Detroit.
Amazing sounds and vocals!!!!!
Band members anyone? The APP website gives no mention of a tour or any live shows at all!
Alan Parsons: keyboards, additional vocals, acoustic guitar
Jeff Kollman: lead guitars, additional vocals
Tom Brooks: keyboards
Todd Cooper: saxophone, additional vocals
Dan Tracey: rhythm guitars, additional vocals
Guy Erez: bass guitar, additional vocals
Danny Thompson: drums, percussion
P. J. Olsson: lead vocals

wow, you managed to mess up DAMNED IF I DO...ONE of the most precious of their old original hits...rest is passable...
oh, shoot... can you quick upload your own video from the concert? Can't wait to see how much better it surely is 😋
Is that P J Olsen?
Yes
No. It's P.J. Olsson.
Damned if I Do is keyboard driven.
Where’s AP?
You don't see him? Where he usually is, on his platform towards the back. Towering majestically over his band :)
@@Jojoseahorse
Where is PJ Olison?
Never mind.... I just found him
@@randyorr9443 He's usually all over the place :)
@@randyorr9443 ...you mean P.J. Olsson? Right up front, where he always is.
lime light, GARY BROOKER , je me souviens !..
i prefer the original Ian`s gtr solo in Prime time....why dont do the same please
I love this live version ... Jeff Kollman is an awesome player.
