Great book for sure. I got my HC copy years ago at Borders for like $9.99 when they were still around. The only thing I wished they had done was add more MIP and Boxed item photos as some of us love packaged items too. GI joe box Art is my fav! It’s a big undertaking to try to include all the images and now that 3DGiJoe is around it fills that gap. Still great info and totally worth buying, I’d almost say it’s a “must have” for serious collectors IMO.

One day I was just toying around with the Gl Joe and I heard a voice on the phone coming out of the GI Joe, I was suprised, but than when I moved the GI Joe abit I could really hear 1 person talking on the phone clear, so he was inviting someone to come over and it took about 15 minutes, cause clearly the other didn't have money to come lol, but I could just hear 1 side of the talking. Weird spyware this lol.
I found 2 GI Joe's this year. just got the astronaut man of action talker with the blonde buzz cut. he's not talking anymore but maybe I can find a way to fix him, the string is still on there but not the tag...he's in pretty good condition otherwise
They got the reporting statement wrong for the Air Force? It's (reports for duty) Not (reporting for duty) Maybe that's the way they did it back in the 60's though.....

I have my talking commander from when I was a little kid in the 70s . Green wooden box and all kinds of uniforms ,gadgets too

You could go through all the sayings by using the coloured markings on the string to note how far to pull the string out.
