we have pines and maples, everything is swept away by the water entry in the front and back of the water, it makes for self cleaning and we have never had to clean our gutters in 5 years. All you people who say it doesnt work probably are trying to sell competitive brands.
Really does seem to work well, especially with larger gutters and downspouts. Question however. There are locations where the water does pour over the top of the panel. Is it a matter of adjusting the top of the panel. What is the optimum level of the hood to prevent overflow?

I pull them out often. They rot, they stay wet, they invite bugs and black ants sometimes that chew on the wet soft fascia. I do not recommend personally. I clean gutters for work.
@3:45.."the backflaps go between the starter and first row of shingles???? Unless the backflap is wider than the exposed part of the first row, water will try to get under the flaps at the shingle side edges. Furthermore, gutters are installed low enough that a sheet of ice that forms on the roof can slide past the gutter when the underside of the ice melts. Here, the enormous weight of the ice sheet will rip off the whole assembly because its top edge is higher.
All very flashy with sophisticated engineering, but it won't keep out dirt and pine needles. Because of their small size, pine needles can easily penetrate gutter guards etc. and quickly accumulate to clog the drain pipes. There has yet to be a device that will stop pine needles and still allow water to flow.
Will you pay for their flooded basement too when this clogs and overflows how about that landscaping too and what about those large dangerous ice cycles that form on this? Google Gorilla Gutter Guard if you want to eliminate the ladder with built in powerwasher all other gutter guards are obsolete

all I can tell you is that these things just work, mine have been on for 7 years and I've never had a problem

This filler foam will rot over time not to mention collect exhaust from cars if you live in the city. No thanks, sticking with Leaf Sentry Gutters.

It has a track system it will clog
What about maple keys? I have 8 maple trees around my house and I'm worried that the maple keys would fit though the spaces for water.
