I love my jato! Let my fiancée try ripping it down the road and she plowed into a mailbox and destroyed the front end so I’m currently putting it back together but I love the thing. That and my rustler vxl

I would have thought the Infraction would have smoked the Jato. I'm not really into Nitro RC's but the Jato is a speed monster. Thanks for sharing your collection of cars. Awesome video. 👍👍

How fast do you need any RC to be? The jato not only beat the infraction but sounded way cooler doing it. Nitro all the way. Brushless sounds like a sewing machine.
To be fair if you change the battery and try again can you warm up the jato. We didn’t see a warm up but we did see the infraction getting it’s tires warmed before take off. Cool video though. 🇨🇱👍
Hello! Thanks for watching...Yes I know the batteries are a reason that it ran slower. I did mention at the end of the video that it could go faster with better batteries. I did warm up the Jato I ran it for about 20min before I started filming.

Did your jato have a two speed it sounded like it mine don't I have one of the older ones now it has a big block in it wheel stands for days with no weight in front
You got that sucker tuned right. I’m still working on mines. Do you know how to take the star gear off the brakes? I’m trying to upgrade my brakes so I need the star gear off
Thank you very much.. I've never removed parts from the brake system so I'm not sure. I don't want to give wrong info. My brake mod is I took off the spring on the adjuster knob and replaced it with a solid tube the same length as the spring now the brakes lock up great. Thanks for watching.
I got it the star wheel has a pin on the back side but I used a flat head to pry it off. I got my new brakes on hopefully I’ll try them out soon. Thanks for your help.
The Jato in this video is all stock. It comes with the TRX 3.3 engine and onroad wheels. The transmission is a 2 speed with tall gears. With offroad tires and adjusted suspension it can be run offroad. But if wanting something like this for offroad I'd go with a single speed Traxxas Nitro Rustler.
Infraction body won't even come close to fitting on the Jato. It is a nice truck body but it a 1/7 scale. The wheel base is about 5 inches longer than the Jato. Sorry!!

Hey Traxxas Jato they're pretty mean I'm not the biggest fan of the 3.3 engine but they're not horrible either and that infraction will run close to 70 or 80 miles an hour she just got to wait for those LiPO batteries an electronic to warm up a little bit LOL
Hello. I started the hobby on traxxas nitro and now have big blocks and all. I do find the 3.3 should have more pep.. The Infraction should hit 90 with the hi speed gear and a 6s 100c battery out of the box. But I'm in it for fun love the hobby..Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate the feedback.
Even without mods the Jato accelerates super fast. Iv been running nito for over 20 years. Iv had every Traxxas nitro offroad. Just got the Jato 3 months ago and have already ran a gallon through it without any issues. I should of gotten one years ago. Thanks for watching!
As a owner of a Revo, Slayer pro and Nitro 4tec. I disagree... Theyre tough machines. had em all over 2 years now and only small breaks and maintenance.

I own two jatos, after I sold my previous other two. Im currently using the Revos gearing on one of them. SUPER FAST! I need a GPS speed sensor.

Nitro was fast didn't expect that 61mph I barely get over 30mph with my thunder tiger buggy. Great runs

Jatos are very fast out of box. And depending on what fuel and how lean you have it set will always beat a infraction out of box

Yes has a 2 speed. When the engine is screaming you can't really hear it shift.

Put high speed pinion that comes with it..Jato doesn't stand a chance.best I've seen the infraction do out of box was 62/63 mph..both nice r/c

Damn that acceleration on the jato is insane. Maybe the only traxxas nitro with buying. All the others are built to break
