Euphoria has secured a place in Hollywood history as the most loved and the most hated TV series in just a matter of 2 Seasons BUT it also revealed the not-so-glamorous side of Hollywood particularly the behind the scenes of making such an intense and dark show.

girl let’s be real fez barely did anything. the euphoria base hardly turned on a new episode of euphoria thinking “oh wow i’m so excited to see what fez is up to 🤓” the show will be fine, i promise.
I could see Sydney becoming a movie star. She has the range and the talent and her ACTING THIS SEASON. She wasn’t playing. She’s MY Angelina Jolie. And her presence in front of a camera is something else.
Would recommend to watch the White Lotus if you haven’t yet. It’s a satirical drama and Sydney is in the first season.

Euphoria’s second season doesn’t work because Sam Levinson cannot write anything, but addiction. Rue’s character and her arc were astoundingly written, since he sees himself in Rue. It became apparent with the episodes later on that the story is out-right clunky and simply a mess. Thats why if Sam doesn’t get more writers in the room the show will die out completely.

As someone who spent 10 years addicted to very heavy drugs (started at 18) this is how that world unfolds...it starts as innocent,crazy,fun partying,sex,etc. It quickly does turn dark with gunns,bigger,badder people in the street world,violence,police,etc. I understand it might be a bit much for a TV show however....hes not far off from what REALLY happens when that life progresses over time.
Exactly people need to understand that he is just portraying what happens in the real world and the sooner people see how dark it is the more they'll despise drug use

Or how it was painted as “empowering” for that one girl to sell herself online In the show, or create fanfic porn at the age of like 16. The cinematography itself was very aesthetically pleasing and glamorous. Even the most horrifying scenes were beautified

I loved season one. Season two did confuse me a lot of times, and I’m not really a fan of how they decided to do season two.. but I’m willing to give season 3 a go.

Honestly I think that Sam needs to sit down and really think about his choices in plot themes in his shows, I feel so bad about those actors, especially barbie, Sydney and Lily, they deserved so much better then what they got

Writing Angus out the show doesn't have to be disrespectful, they could say he went to rehab and is getting his life together. They don't have to forget about his character.
All the controversy surrounding the show plus two characters with the most interesting stories no longer being in the show is just signs from the universe that the show need to end.

As someone in high school. Season 2 isn’t that far fetched. You’d be surprised at the amount of kids who go far for addiction or to keep food on the table. Also Cassie’s story (although her character lost her mind in season 2) isn’t far off either. It’s a story of co dependency. She lost her father and her baby along with the baby’s father. She clings on to any man who gives her that love she’s missing.
Although euphoria season 1 was amazing and season 2 was okay, I still see myself and so many of my peers in this show. I really hope they take some steps back and go back to the bigger messages of awareness this show was built on.

I think a special can be a great way to wrap up things. Like have an hour or long episode through the perspective of one of the character's voices talking about what happened to each character thus tying up any loose ends. It doesn't have to be a whole season to do something like that and it wouldn't keep us wondering what's going to happen.

I think these topics are very serious topics and I think that it’s very smart that they put it into the show so that children can see what they are getting themselves into when they do some of the things that these characters have done
The show is a r*pe fantasy come to life. It doesn’t teach kids anything? It’s flat out caused issues with kids and addiction because Rue doesn’t see proper consequences regarding her addiction. As someone who is a recovering addict and who has the same mental illnesses that Rue has in the series it makes me so angry what they did to them in season 2. This show doesn’t teach what you think it does

With the Idol, I’m pretty certain there was a female director behind it and I saw some leaks whoyt it with some behind the set scenes where you see the main girl wearing different clothes to the ones she’s wearing in the shoe like a 70’s pinky look (idk found it on TikTok). I, myself haven’t watched The Idol but it was said that it was meant to focus more the female perspective and there was definitely a story change before the weeknd and Sam got involved
Yeah it es totally different and being run by the creator of the girlfriend project which is an amazing series, the weekend had an tantrum about the series being too focused on women’s empowerment and so even though they had 80z% filmed they ditched it all and gave Sam a blank check to make it again. Also a bunch of the original cast and crew left when they saw what was happening with the changes

As far as Euphoria goes, although I agree with some things that have been said about certain characters (*cough* Kat), I would say that it is an incredibly beautiful show. The way every single shot is magical, from the lighting, to the makeup, the clothing, the acting, the scenery....In addition to that id say that it has the most jawdropping soundtrack. You have to keep in mind that it is a drama series firtst and foremost, and apart from that, not everything has to be relatable to everyone. You can watch tv shows, or movies like , , etc and still think that they are great, WITHOUT beeing relatable. The fact that you cannot fully understand something doesnt mean that it is not written correctly, it means that it is different from the things that you have come across in your life, ans thats the most magical thing of all. Movies (and TV shows for that matter) are like a machine that generates empathy. If they are good they will let you understand a little bit more about what it feels like being a different gender, race, age, economic class... Not everyone has the ability to find pieces of themselves in a character. See, no one says anything about music, or books, but when it comes to cinema suddenly everyone has a say in what is portrayed, because people no longer need to use their imagination, and thats the tricky part. They begin judging the only thing that they see, even though there is an entire psychological aspect behind everything that happens in both shows (Euphoria and the idol), and if comprehended everything would make much more sense. Finally, it says it is for mature audiences only, and thats for a good reason. Mature does not mean 18 or above... Life is raw, and the both shows are a mixture of life with a lil extra something that catches the viewers attention and keeps the suspence going.
