And, you might or might not have heard of Johnny Elbows, who definitely fits into that criteria. This story is seriously disturbing since he seems to be going for little kids.

TikTok needs to be moderating these TikTokers more, so creepy people like him are not on there.
TikTok higher ups are so cheap. You're 1000000% correct they need to be monitoring the content being posted on their platform better. however, that would mean they would have to spend money to hire people to monitor the content and the creators and that would take away from the higher ups bonuses

I can guarantee you there's someone who's more creepy than him on TikTok and we will hear about them eventually. TT attracts people that aren't the best because of how much access you get to creators. Which can be dangerous also, some people who think when they give a creator money that that creator now owes them or they are "real friends" and the delusions can grow from there. I'm sure most if not all live stream tiktokers have had unwanted messages private and public. People are way to comfortable being their worst version online.

Johnny clearly needs intensive support/ care as while he may be vulnerable, it is clear he is a risk to the community and his ‘TikTok career’ has only exacerbated the risk.

The problem is Johnny isn't functional on his own. He relies on his caretakers to keep him in line. The camera guy was egging him on to do edgy stuff and its hard for him to process boundaries. He was acting out to impress the camera guy. He should have never been around kids with that guy in the first place.
I felt this way too. I think he is mentally handicapped and doesn’t actually connect what he is saying. I don’t know this for sure but I have had patients at work I have a 4 year in psych finish my my MD in psychiatry I totally agree with u. I don’t think he processed what he says.
