- It was ABSOLUTELY one of rhe very coolest shows I've ever seen!!!!
Plasmatics were amazing beyond belief.
KISS was playing their 1st gig with Vinnie Vincent on guitar...2nd tour with Eric Carr.
Taking 8 hots of blotter was ballsy. I survived.
Don't be like me.
live vicariously thru me.
But I'm just sharing my truths.
it'd all be on a book if I wrote a book.
These stories ARE my book.

Plasmatics on acid would be hard to top. RIP Wendy O. I couldn't imagine seeing KISS in a gymnasium in that condition. Would've been surreal. Keep up the great stories man.
You are the first to comment on the video! Thanx 4 subscribing and new video in 2 Daze! Cheers!
Seen that beautiful tour in Dallas. I was 13yrs old and came to see KISS. Never heard of PlasmaticS
Had 13th row and when the PlasmaticS came on they blew my FUCKING MIND. That day i became a PlasmaticS die hard. They kicked KISSs ass. WOW. Got to meet Richie last year and what a true Rock legend he is.
Thanks 4 sharing! I've interviewed most ex Plasmatics, including Wendy! All the interviews are on my other UA-cam channel: "thechurchofrock "

How could you get in to a concert at age 13? Not judging just a curious mind
All ages shows....
Back then I never got id. I seen motley crue at a 3000 seater on Shout at the devil tour. I was 13. Then Ratt and Twisted sister same 3000 seat venue in Dallas called the bronco bowl. Mom would drop us off and pick us up. Great legendary times
Absolutely
Thanks everyone for watching, commenting, liking & sharing ❤
Great stories! So glad I found this channel! Cheers!

Oh Jeez That was some gig for ya . An experience you will never forget . Thanks for sharing D xx
Glad you enjoyed it T my friend 🧡 Thanks so much
Incredible, can't even begin to imagine how great that show must have been. At least you made good use of the trip haha. Remember really wanting to go to the Mabel's show, but couldn't find a ride ugh.
Damn! I woulda picked u up! I have a story about that soon. Backstage story. Andddd we were....tripping!!!
Super exciting concert sounds very intense. Wish I had been there.
It was awesome ❤❤❤❤ Thanks for Subscribing
I was there! The first time I saw KISS and it was spectacular! Became a Huge Wendy O. fan afterwards! Was with a bunch of friends, and we made it up to the front row but missed out on the TV parts. lol Also my favorite concert I've ever been to! Such great memories!
Awesome! I was hoping to hear from others there! You're the 1st! Such a great show amigo
Love your stories my friend, this Debbie in Maine 😊❤
Hi Deb❤ thanx for the support!
Great stuff Bloody! Good times! 🔥
I appreciate it brother. Ponk Media Rools!
Sounds like a magical concert, Bloody! Thanks for the fun and descriptive trip down memory lane!
You rock Sir Marty! Thanx dude
Comment 2: I’m a couple years behind you and I completely missed the Plasmatics. I was more into the standard metal stuff like Priest, Maiden and Metallica along FM radio staples like Zep and the Stones. But you’ve inspired me to go back and fill in the gaps!
Thanks mi amigo I love all those bands u mentioned!! Very diverse are my tastes! I actually have Judas Priest & Maiden stories to tell. Big fan of both & have seen em both many times. I got to meet Tob Halford last year!! Cheers & thanx 4 subscribing and jeep in touch 👍
Saw Plasmatics on their own that year w/ midgets in Lab Coats rolling out the Pentagram
waited out back and got 10 autographs on a budweiser 12 pack box torn into pieces form Wendy...Fuck & Roll Wendy O...is what she wrote...
on the W.O.W, Tour she came to a club my band played all the time, the same club Dime was killed at, and my Bass Player had a half oz of blow
and we went to the hotel with the band...Wendy and the Lead Guitar left in seperate limos, the other guys drove a small RV to the hotel down the street
to a hotel where we partied all night, one guitar player was a Plasmatic but was no longer wearing a tutu...Love Plasmatics...Great Story...
Great stuff! Thanks 4 sharing! I just recorded a new song ("Wax fruit") with Plasmatic guitarist Wes Beech & Plasmatics drummer Tc Tolliver! Me & Wes are also currently working on a 5 or 6 song Plasmatics tribute ep!!! Cheers & thanks for Subscribing!!!!!
Seen the plasmatics up in Long Beach CA 1987. I was in the place next to Wendy O Williams, as I was friends with Katon De Pena the vocalist of Hirax and he told Wendy that I want her autograph she turned her back and walked off!!
Weird! I used to correspond with Katon...and I was friends with Wendy. 1st time I've ever heard anything like that about her. Strange!
I saw KISS on that tour in Las Vegas NV, but a very young Motley Crue opened up the show. They absolutely killed it too!
Wild! I love the 1st 2 Crue albums! Saw em on the Shout at the devil tour. Please subscribe 😊
How/why I missed this tour when they came to Dallas is beyond me. One of my biggest regrets. I guess I didn't hear about it, or didn't have the money, or whatever but I wish I could have seen this tour. I think it was at Reunion Arena or Dallas Convention Center Arena. I did see Wendy O. & the (sort of) Plasmatics (at least they still had Wes Beech on guitar) at a tiny venue in Arlington called MetalWorks in 1988, and FINALLY saw Kiss in 2004 after being a fan for 25+ years, at Starplex Amphitheater & it was well worth the wait (even though they had a "fake" Ace + Peter!)... Great story, thanks for sharing! Cool Beyond the Valley T-shirt too!
Yes! I saw the 88 tour too! Wes had long blue hair!!!!❤ thanx 4 subscribing my brother!!! And for YOUR tales ❤
That's an insane story. Awesome!
Glad you enjoyed it! Please subscribe D?
PLASMATICS!!!! I bought my first guitar because of them. A blue Ibanez Destroyer just like Ritchie Stotts
Yessss! Please subscribe?
What's up man? I've never done Acid ( I have a story why😂) but I'll listen to yours! ROCK on 🤘

Probably not a bad thing! I have an addictive personality. But I also have zero regrets 😅😂 stay real!!! Thanks for Subscribing too
And Plasmatics Wes Beech & TC Tolliver play on the NEW song, "Wax Fruit", on my new DARK DAZE UNFAZED 13 song album! I'm on vocals with Wes on Bass & Guitar & TC rockin the drums! Its on all music streaming platforms, CD, Vinyl & Cassette tape. Contact me, Bloody, to order: Dmoody41@hotmail.com
Wow that's cool. I've been meaning to call Wes. I'm sure he'll tell me all about it
@@mikereseigh I communicate with him daily. We are doing a Plasmatics tribute together next. 5 songs!
Awesome. I can only imagine how intense that show must have been, thanks for sharing your story!
P.S.
Love that Scorpions poster too... Did you go to a show from that tour? I wish I could (but I was just baby back then)! That live album is one of my teenage milestones, man!
My youngest daughter got that Scorps poster autographed for me. It was a gift❤ and thank YOU!!!
@@BloodyFMess AWESOME!
Thank YOU again for your answer!
Good stuff, thanks for sharing.
Is there anyway to make your videos full screen?
Gosh dammit I keep meaning to. Next vid will be. I'm learning. Thanks 4 subscribing
On my Android it is full screen if I turn my phone. Can u do thar or no? Sorry amigo
8 hits of LSD? No wonder it was such a memorable show! I remember it being a really good show and enthusiastic crowd. We would get better reviews than KISS at many shows on that tour much to Paul’s dismay no doubt! Great story and looking forward to the next one!😂😂😂
Thanx! I think this is Wes Beech? Cheers my friend! The Plas were such a force to reckon with.
Wes? Cool!
Same tour in St. Louis at the Keil. Loved it!!! My buddy caught Gene's bloody towel. Cool night
I love the Keil & lived in St. Louis in 1980. Saw many shows there including blizzard of ozz with motorhead!!!!!!! Thanx 4 subscribing!
I remember that show well as there was a rather large woman backstage regaling us with stories of her and Paul!
@@user-tj1jn2ym5b ha!!!
Absolutely awesome story, give me more!
Tomorrow I will post a new one my awesome friend 🧡
I miss Wendy so much. Have you ever heard The Devil's Blood? They are not similar in style. The guy behind it apparently had finished his mission as well and couldn't see any reason to continue. Although, Pease don't kill yourself but if you're done, you're done right? I don't think I could live through the experience of releasing a Cold Lake, because like you... the truth is the truth. Love your stories
@@dominichowell6896 wendy was a friend...my interview with her is on my other UA-cam channel ( " thechurchofrock ") I miss hee alot too my friend. Sad. What did u mean by Cold lake? I am not familiar with the band u mentioned. Sorry 2 hear about his ending it all. I've known too many that have gone that route. I hope I can always Stay strong because this dark age we are living in is getting darker, unfortunately. Thanks man ..for the communication & for Subscribing to my channel
@@BloodyFMess that hard left that Celtic Frost stole on everyone
Saw the Plasmatics open for Kiss either in New Orleans or Biloxi ...GREAT SHOW
WOO HOO!!!!! THANKS FOR SUBSCRIBING
Was very fascinated by Wendy O. Williams. There was not anyone like her. I see her influence in some of the female artists today. The Butcher Babies being one.
She was a friend & my interview with her is on my other channel ( "thechurchofrock ")
Looking good bro. Great story!
Thanks buddy! Hi to Red❤
Super funny dude! Subscribed B-). ((old drummer here)).
Which drummer? And thanks
@@BloodyFMess Lived in Madison and Austin for many years. You play drums? = You're the prettiest girl in the room full of guitar players. Industry type parties are like that. Met just about everybody it seems and rarely made a dime after costs. Airplanes, hotels, GASOLINE....studio engineers. Good stories but I don't think I'd do it again.
@@user-ln4zr4pz4f yea I can relate. I quit being in bands march 2020. Sick of egos, addicts, very little pay, etc. Just released my 10th & 40th anniversary album tho. It's on all music streaming platforms, cd, vinyl & cassette. Bloody F. Mess " Dark Daze Unfazed " is the album title. Thanks 4 sharing your tale & 4 subscribing too
@@BloodyFMess Soooo, I met David Bowie. He was sober at the time which was maybe '99 at the Driskell hotel on 6th and Congress in Austin. Long story short; He started laughing at me and I started laughing at him........we were full bore, face to face, tears laughinging at the wing where the taxis pull up.
@@user-ln4zr4pz4f haha Brilliant!! Wow! What a superstar. Long live the music & spirit of Bowie! Thanks 4 subscribing 2 my channel
Wes Beech one of the Plasmatics guitar players is my friend. He tells great stories.
He co wrote a song with me on my new album. He & TC Tolliver both play on it. "Bloody F. Mess -WAX FRUIT". It's on UA-cam etc & the albums on cd, vinyl & cassette
Yes Ivdo!
I saw them 4 days later in my hometown in LaCrosse, Wi and it was on my birthday I was a Plasmatics fan but my friend couldn't stand them, it's so surreal, now.
I think I can still vaguely remember the TV being tuned to Star Trek because I couldn't stand that show (was more into Twilight Zone) so I was waiting for the destruction.
The Twilight Zone! My all time favorite TV show
I always loved Wendy. She was so dam sexy and hott 🔥 R.i.p. beautiful goddess. 🤘🤘🤘
She was one of a kind! RIP Wendy! My interview with her from 1986 can be found on my other UA-cam channel ( " thechurchofrock ") thanx for Subscribing
cool story , if you can , show your concert t shirts and or memorabilia .... Rock on !
Most of it burned in the 2020 Almeda Fires here but lots of it is online. My interview with Wendy O. Williams is on UA-cam & I've interviewed lotsa of ex Plasmatics. All on my " thechurchofrock " UA-cam channel! Also i just released my 10th album & Plasmatics Wes & TC are on it! Wes Beech co wrote it with me
Sounds like an awesome concert. I love Creatures Of The Night era Kiss. Some great songs on that album. War Machine, I Love It Loud, Creatures Of The Night... Add in Wendy O and the Plasmatics... Tremendous!
One of their best albums...4 sure!!!! Thanks for Subscribing amigo

I loved Wendy, she was always nice to me.. I had a half guitar and a piece of a TV she smashed..
I was trying to get in touch with her thru someone in the Genitorcherers...when I found out she had died.
Haven't heard the Genitorturers in awhile! I will have 2 play em on my radio show!! Thanks for Subscribing to my channel!!! More Wendy stories coming & my interview with her is on my other UA-cam channel ( "thechurchofrock ") Wendy O. Williams 1986 telephone interview by Bloody Mess. I was like 19
Ps- I loved Wendy too & miss her
Awesome bro! A pig is a pig, and that’s that!
Haha Wes Beech & I are doing a cover of that song on the upcoming Plas tribute
That’ll be cool. One of my top 5 Plasmatics tunes for sure.
Man these stories make me wish i was alive then.. Im not gen Z so i kinda remember lile when i was 12, concerts before phones and the way ppl interacted was different.
You can see it on basically every video back then. Everyone feels alienated now, and theres a lot of shit dr*gs around. My dad realized he was an alcoholic on acid at northeastern university in the 70s. Cheers lol. Always been curious about the plasmatics & Wendy
Hi! Thanks 4 writing. I am actually recording an ep right now! With Plasmatics guitarist Wes Beech..its a Plasmatics tribute with 4 -Plasmatics covers & 2 new original songs! It may very well come out eventually be released on the Plasmatics record label.
( that's not for sure)
Bit
It's happening & it's gonna rock! On my new album, the song WAX FRUIT features the great Wes Beech on Guitar & Bass & TC Tolliver on drums!! Wes wrote the music/I wrote the lyrics. Wes & I also collaboratedvon a tune in 2003 called " Rock N Roll Scallywag ". It's on UA-cam. Also my other channel has my interviews with Wendy, Wes, TC, Richie Scott's, Stu, Jean Beauvoir, etc the UA-cam channel is called "thechurchofrock "
Thanks amigo!!!!!

I saw Plasmatics open for Kiss in Knoxville Tn. I wasn't going to go but Plasmatics replaced....uh, Night Ranger? Sorry, brain fart. Anyway I wished the TVs were plugged in when she smashed them. I love her so much and I feel so lucky to have seen her live.Reform School Girls is one of my favorite movies.
There wasn't much of a stage show in Knoxville, I still remember them much more tham Kiss, maybe because I'd seen them a couple of times already.
I'm so happy someone else remembers this, I just wish I'd seen your show instead.
Well at least u got 2 see em! Weird that the TV wasn't plugged in there tho!! Thanx for Subscribing
That was the first show on our stint with them and yes, we replaced Nightranger who I guess weren’t selling enough tickets. We helped boost their somewhat meager sales and put more people in the seats. Was a good time and great memories of that tour!
Plas over night ranger ANY day❤❤
The KISS/Plasmatics show in Dallas was my 1st concert. I was 12 years old and waaaay into W.O.W.’s boobs.
What a killer first show!! Wowza😊❤
What a crazy experience! What a ballsy move for Kiss to have such a flamboyant opening act! Shows class! Interesting how you were able to pick up on the vibe with Vinny. By all accounts he’s not a nice guy; lately he’s been known to scam fans on autographed merch…
Yea, by all accounts he's a very hard to relate to human. A pain. Hard to deal with &/or count on, etc. But.... I love the work he did with Kiss & I like the dude for many reasons, but especially because he's such a weirdo!!! I LOVE weirdos...lol 😅😅 Eccentric dude...lol Long live Vinnie!
@tbloody. Your awesum and so is that story.! I felt like I was right there as you told it.! I missed that tour in Glens Falls NY bcos of major snow storm but a few friends from Hi school made it.! It was Nightranger instead. Would rather have Wendy 4 sure.!! Tripped hundreds of times also.! More mescaline tho.,! Thanks for sharing. I'm subscribed for sure.! Peace Out.!😊
Also had to agree on you with Vinnie.! I like the dude and the weirdness.! That's something I can relate too. Saw Vinnie on LIU tour in Poughkeepsie NY 84. He killed it.! Vinnie fan here.!

So , I think it was 83/84. Plasmatic’s. Played Olympic auditorium in LA. I was too young to be there ! Was 15 and fake id saying I was 18 . lol. Any who, There was a Schoolbus on the stage…. And as our friend is saying, They used to play with lights and make social commentary art statements.! So , a spotlight came on the bus, and Wendy walks up and Spray paints “ f%+k the status quo “
And blows up the bus …. I too got hit by shrapnel… like 30 others … lol. Those were different times !!! Still don’t remember what was scarier , the Bus or all the psycho’s on drugs!! lol …. RIP Wendy ,
