sorry I'm really confused, the output says gender(1) and referral(1) which stands for "male" and "voluntary" respectively, but in the data view male is coded 0 and voluntary is coded 0 so how do you know that gender(1) is male?
Thank You Todd. Very good explanation and easy to understand. I hope You can make a video for logit with two dependent variables and three or more independent variables.

Hello Dr. Grande, Thank you for the video. I have a question on which values to include when reporting an APA style statement for binary logistic regression output?
I've had a little look around and I couldn't find in any of your videos an example where you examine an interaction. What would OR mean essentially in a case of an interaction?
Thank you for this Dr fodd. Also Dr which statistical analysis is most appropriate to assess the relationship between risk factors that lead to diabetes with the aims of seeing whether there are relationship between the risk factors and also to investigate the interaction effect between risk factors. Thanks
Hello Dr. Grande, Thank you for your well explained video it has helped me a lot. I have a question, can you still run the binary logistic regression analysis if the Chi-Square is not significant?
Hi, if you have 5 categories (experimental groups) as the independent variable and a binary dependent variable, would this binary logistic regression still apply in the way you did it? Thank you!
Dear Todd Grade great job. It would be nice if you can upload a video on Binary Logisitic Regression in SPSS with The Dichotomous Predictor Variables and multinomial regression with 2 and three predictor variables
Todd, I feel as if I know you. I spend so much time with you on here that...I feel like I know you. Only one criticism. Please speak louder. I have to "squit" to hear you. Thank you for your dedication!
Hi Dr. Grande, When interpreting the gender variable, did you by any chance made a mistake about the fact that 1 = male? Because prior to that you have shown us that 1 = female. I'll be very glad if you can answer my question as me interpreting my data depends on you :)
In the "Categorical Variables Codings" , the column "Parameter Coding" changes the interpretations for Gender and Referral . Can you please explain on what basis it is decided after building the model, since our interpretation is 1 for 'Female' and 1 for 'Involuntary'
Look at 7:07 sec, you will see the "Categorical Variable Codings" table. SPSS code Male as 1 and Voluntary As 1. Yes, it did confuse me when he explained this on the data view.
Hi, Thank you for your explanation... I have a question. In this case where you've used dummy coding for your 2 binary variables.. how would you write the final logistic regression formula ?

Thank you so much Dr. Todd! Your videos are amazing! Helped us a lot during our thesis.
You're welcome!
Hello Dr. Grande,
Thank you for the video. I have a question on which values to include when reporting an APA style statement for binary logistic regression output?
Thank you very much Dr. Todd for this video.. very helpful
You're welcome, thanks for watching -

Thanks.. Thats helped me alot.
I was expecting more details about reference category, that would help me to interpret the result.
Thank you, Dr Todd
This was helpful. Thanks

Hello Dr. Grande,

Clear explanation. Thanks a lot!
Hello Dr. Grande,
Is there a rule for the maximum number of predictor variables that can be used in a binary logistic regression?
Hi, if you have 5 categories (experimental groups) as the independent variable and a binary dependent variable, would this binary logistic regression still apply in the way you did it?
Thank you!
Hi Dr. Grande, Could you please explain how to interpret the classification table after a binary logistic regression in SPSS?
Dear Todd Grade great job. It would be nice if you can upload a video on Binary Logisitic Regression in SPSS with The Dichotomous Predictor Variables and multinomial regression with 2 and three predictor variables
Thanks for the explanation, can I use this for one independent and one dependent variable, both having 2 categories? They are not binary.
How can I get the link and download the raw data so that I can follow your tutorial with practical application of the model?
thank u for nice explanation, but could you get the original data please?
What if you do not get a statistically significant figure for variance in the equation?
Can someone explain how I can change the reference categories in order to compare experimental conditions?

how would you plot this Dr Grande?

Melissa I think that female gender is risk factor for unsuccess? Am I right?
you are right i think..he maskes a mistake when interpreting the coding

Hi,
Thank you for your explanation... I have a question. In this case where you've used dummy coding for your 2 binary variables.. how would you write the final logistic regression formula ?
Thank you, how did you measure the predicted probability variable?

Todd, this lesson is blurry, making it difficult to see.
Could anyone help me figure out how to test for an interaction effect between the two dichotomous predictor variables?
Thanks
the presentation is very important but not visible
Gender is not statistically significant here I guess. P value is 0.08 >0.05.
