Korean skincare had changed my life. Please look into brands that actually are popular in korea and not just here in the US!
fr like the stuff that gets popular here is ancient history back in korea
@@ariana8713on the contrary. Some items that get popular here sometimes aren’t popular in South Korea. It’s only until the exposure here that there’s a possibility they’ll be popular in SK. Like BoJ and Cosrx to name a few. But there’s definitely some good products in SK that haven’t received the same amount of exposure in the west. Tho tbh it’s a good thing bc the more they get popular the more they rise in prices
do u have any examples?
@@sarrahkfkfkf7614 search "favorite or top korean skincare" on here and look at videos of korean ytbers. They typically use the brands that are loved in korea vs the ones that have korean names and market to us Westerners. The also go into depth on their skintype and what works for them and what didnt work. Im also pretty sure I saw a tiktok about best sellers from Olive Young which is a korean skincare store with multiple brands.
What are some skincare popular in Korea?🤔
As a dry sensitive girl, I really recommend milk cleansers! They’re the most gentle and don’t strip. Just make sure if you’re wearing heavy makeup you double cleanse
any recommendations for
stratia has a good hydrating cleanser. i double cleanse to get my makeup and sunscreen off and then follow up w “velvet cleansing milk”
If you wear sunscreen everyday, like you should please, please, you need to double cleanse.
You can either do an oil, balm or micellar as the first step followed by your choice of cleanser for the second step. 😊
Is the creave hydrating face wash good for dry sensitive?
I use cetaphil gentle cleansing wash

Thank you, i never really use all this complicated stuff cause im a dude whos only a little interested in skincare but its great to see people viewing the products if i ever wanna buy 😂
Your honestly amazing for this🥹
Thanks
cosrx ,boj, and the rest mentioned are great brands however you should try brands like numbuzin, anua, aestura, isntree,,round lab, torriden, abib( They have great sheet masks) which are not as well known globally but are well loved in Asia.Though it's not necessary to try all at once and you should stick with what works for you ❤
i would add farmstay to the list, especially Collagen & HA All in One Ampoule (they have an amazing sheet mask with collagen)💓💓
Numbuzin sunscreen so good
I LOVEEEEE numbuzin omg
Yes. And I actually like wishtrend selections. I'm getting ready for their black Friday! And bazzal box for features!
I would add innisfree, dewytree, nineless, skin 1004, atopalm, jumiso✨
Can’t wait for part 2! I got the Cosrx mucin essence because of your video and girl lemme tell you, my skin has been loving it so much! Love your content so much, keep doing what you’re doing!
Hi! So for any cleaning balm, you want to scoop it into your hands and melt it in your hands before rubbing your makeup off. Afterwards, make sure you double cleanse (basically wash your face off with your regular cleanser) to really get off the oil and makeup. I’d recommend using a soft wet microfiber towel to wipe off the oil before washing the access of with water if you feel there’s still makeup on your face.
Esthetician here, I second this! Great recommendations! 😊
A lot of Korean skincare popular in the west aren’t sold in Korea or aren’t nearly as popular in Korea. i love your videos btw 💓💓
I love when you show how you apply your products ! Cant wait for the part 2
I quite literally just started watching you and I just wanna say you are so chill. Love your vibe.
I’m here for more Korean skincare reviews 👀 especially sunscreen! Personality on point 🫶🏽
i found your channel a couple weeks ago and ur basically my fave YTer rn, i love how your videos just feel like you’re talking to ur bestie
Haruharu, Heimish, Rovectin, Skin1004, Missha and Etude House, Mary and May and Tocobo all of these are top quality products. Korean skincare is by far better than anything here in the U.S
Im not in fact Asian but as someone currently living in Vietnam and having tried both Western and Asian skincare brands, may i clarify some confusions here:
Firstly, it's important to note that nor all skincare products in the Western market are ineffective. They are formulated to be gentler and cater to diffrent skin conditions as they still provide enough moisturization and essential nutrients to soothe the skin. While it may seem too gentle, they can be highly effective for many individuals for any cases of irritation.
If ur curious, u can save up enough money to try some high-end brands like Sulwhasoo or the History of Fu, as they provide a similarly gentle experivence comparable to certain Western brands ( for almost 3 months at least to see noticable changes )
Secondly, it's worth mentioning that not all Korean skincare products work universally well all the time. While brands like Numbuzim, Anua, Skin 1004, Torriden, HA Wellage, Sungboon editor, one day you, d'alba and wonjin masks work well on me and receive positive feedbacks, personal experience can vary. They actively worked really good on the first 2 weeks ( or at least a month ) then i started to experience skin irritations and breakouts after using their toners and sheet masks for very long despite having a normal skin. Even though, i changed my routine and use less of them toner pads for once a week and gave up on sheet mask, my skin got drier and drier and now it is very sensitive. Additionally, some of these products may not have undergone dermatologist testing on all skin conditions, specifically for sensitive skin, and most of them are formulated to work extremely strong and active effect for immediate results, i suggest some people should take an enough amount of time to try them all out before add it into your skin routine.
Anua also got involved in some problems after getting exposed to have been hiring a fake dermatologist specialist to promote its product and is silently boycotted in olive young store.
Thirdly, it is worth mentioning that certain Korean skincare brands employ similar formulations from Western brands. For example, Aestuta offers product that claim to soothe and repair skin-barrier, much like La Roche-Posay Cicaplast B5. Similarly, products such as goodndoc B5 serum and Nature Republic (especially their make-up remover) can be subject to scrutiny. Furthermore, some Korean sunscreen options, like Dr G, may not provide adequate protection for treated skin due to their weaker filters. Additionally, the finished touch on the skin looks very greasy.
Lastly, it is important to acknowledge that even Korean beauty industry offers various skincare products for their people, there is also a preference for Western beauty products among some individuals. For instance, Martiderm was rumoredly banned in Korean because of an ingredient contains micro-plastic, but in fact, their sunscreen products reportedly remains popular among Koreans, despite the availability of options like Round Lab and Cell Fusion. These nuances indicated the importance of recognizing that skincare preferences can vary among individuals. As in ur case. I truly understand when u prefer Korean more.
It's ok to not know all of these but humble and respect are needed. Korean skincare products do exist some limitations, specifically they are not tested or formulated for all skim conditions application. It's ok to have freedom of speech, but it's better to tone it down a little bit. Especially, Korean skincare products also perpetuate and promote the idea of colorism and whitening/bleaching.
Afterwards, i can still recommend some of the products that i think works fine.
Toner and toner pads: numbuzim, anua, skin 1004, d'alba first pray serum, torriden
Sunscreen: skin 1004, round lab, cell fusion
Sheet masks: wonjin
hyaluronic acids: torriden, HA wellage
Skin1004!! So good and affordable. I use their centella moisturizer
Axis Y 🧞
Yes, love and highly recommend Rovectin! Also La Roche Posay (it’s not asian skincare, but it’s good!) I like as well
@@user-ws9oh9xx3ithank you for this comment! ❤
I just found your channel and I am binging!!! I am obsessed with skincare/beauty and your channel is by far my new favorite. Your personality is so bubbly and you are beautiful!
omg i love ur channel i get a lot of anxiety in a car (im not gonna explain why) but when i watch ur videos it calms me down and helps me not to focus on the other things
You should try Pyongkang Yul products - their hydrating essence is like applying a sheet mask without waiting 20 minutes for results. I use it after serums and before moisturizing and it's amazing. Also, the Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream moisturizer is like perfect for all skin types hybrid cream/gel texture. Love your content!
TYSM FOR THESE VIDS THEY'RE SO HELPFUL WHEN UR BROKE BUT EASILY INFLUENCEDDDD
girl you’re saving me sm money 😭🙏
sameeee 😭
Ok I'm literally 30 seconds into the video and I just wanted to tell you that you have such a lovely aura! Your voice is so calming, you give off such a friendly energy 😊
Honestly, love this series, it's soo helpful
you’re so pretty 🥺💓 like a princess
I love your content!!! So thoughtful with your reviews I have oily skin but I love watching you ❤
Watching you bring so excited about korean skincare just made ne really happy 😊
I love watching your skincare reviews because we have the same skin type, it’s so helpful
Love your videos! They saved me so much money! Youre actually a comedian love you ❤
Happy that they worked for you!
I have dry skin which is also so ridiculously sensitive to the pint where even Korean skincare is too harsh for me a lot of the time.
For me the pink packaged face cream really didn’t work for me. It leaves a really horrible greyish white cast, doesn’t blend well and also breaks me out.
I also rlly dislike the joseon sunscreen which also breaks me out, sits rlly weirdly on top of my skin and just makes me really oily.
I would also recommend the heimish artless glow base! It has spf 50 it makes my makeup look smooth like nothing else does:)
for balm cleansers, its really simple to use them!!
1) adequate amount on hands and rub until it's melted
2) apply directly to DRY, UNWET skin
3) once you're done, emulsify w/ water & rinse
Girl you have the prettiest most soothing voice. For black heads I recommend the COSRX BHA Black head power liquid essence, it’s the most gentle form of Salicylic Acid that you’ll find. Just make sure to wear sunscreen everyday. If you do chose to try it out I recommend starting by using it twice a week, after a while you can even use it everyday (preferably at night) IF your skin tolerates it
Love your videos so much!! They’re so helpful and you’re actually a comedian :)
one thing I’ve really been liking from korean skincare is the celimax serum. it is a green goopy serum that is fun to put on and works so well for even skin texture and color.
Can you be more specific there are several different serums listed Ty
@@tladyleggz I think it’s called the noni ampoule, not sure if that helps.
Thanks
love ur videos tima!!! please PLEASEE make a video on BYOMA skincare
Wait 36k?! Congratulations girl you blew up so much so quick 🥳🩵
as someone with crazy sensitive dry skin and eczema prone skin this really helped thank you ❤
Yesssss maam! We need more black girl reviews
you should try the Pyungkang Yul moisture barrier cream next! it's very hydrating and I feel like it cools my face and has made my skin much softer
looooveeee ur skin is glowinggg
STOP YOU'RE SO PRETTY 😭❤
omg I had eczema as a child and a bad flare recently from stress, and my skin has always been senstive and is dry. so excited I'm going to be able to follow the recommendations on your channel :)
off topic you are GORGEOUS
side note, your nails are everythinggg!!
Your skin smooth like a babe Plus your explanation are details and easy to understand. Thanks girl
You're really funny!! My new fav channel 😊💕
You are growing so fast !!!!💞💕
love ur videosss x can u pleasee make a video on best mascaras, or a QnA
Thanks for the video !! Love youre good vibess 🫶🏼🫶🏼
Oh my goddd you’re so pretty 🥹
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!
Omg ur so pretty 😭
the glow serum is definitely one of my favorites just wish it were bigger lol. the anua heartleef 77 soothing toner is also my favourite :)
Something I noticed about pimple patches is they only work on ones that are ready to pop because they are basically a sticker & once you remove it you kinda remove the top layer of that spot that was ready to go, I’m not sure how much they do ingredient wise because I don’t even feel any product on them
If you’re concerned about black and white heads I would really recommend the Anua heart leaf cleansing oil (i don’t remember the full name) you just massage that into your blackheads for like 5 minutes and they come out of your pores
Loving your videos 😊❤xx
If you need stronger pimple patches to use on general breakout spots, use the hydrocolloid blister patches for your feet. Cut them up if needed. They're a lot stronger than regular pimple patches and arent't that expensive either.
amazing video!!! but I was so distracted by your nails, they’re beautiful, could you do a tutorial about them? 💘
Great review, I've also tried about 8 of these products and I really loved most of them! I have an unopened bottle of the Beauty of Joseon Rice + Probiotics Sunscreen, I'm gonna try it soon once I'm done with my Cosrx Aloe Sunscreen. Also, you're sooo pretty, I just kept thinking that throughout the video 😆❤
You should consider trying the Beauty of Joseon Green Plum Refreshing Cleanser, I use it after their balm and it’s heavenly. I also use their Apricot Blossoms Peeling gel as my weekly exfoliation and I think it’s truly an underrated product. A lot of people have been put off using physical exfoliants because in the past they are two harsh for the skin but Beauty of Joseon gets it right! I can’t use a regular chemical exfoliant because I have eczema on my face and it can flare up easily so for me this product is perfect! Any way good luck on your Korean Skin Care journey once you start you will not go back
You should try the cosrx vitamin e sunscreen! It’s SPF 50 and is so moisturizing. I’m also super pale and it doesn’t leave me looking like Casper
Girl I gotta say you're gorgeousss
My favorite Korean skincare brands at the moment are iUnik, Mother Made (exfoliator), and Purito (sunscreen, no ashy sheen for us poc), I love it 😍
dang im earlyy!! i love these videos sm
makeup tut please!! your so pretty and I love your channel ❤❤
im only 13 but and I legit just found you and I already love watchging your content I started to really get into skin care and beauty etc... just remember when you hit 1mil subs I was here before 50k 🤭🤭
you r soooo pretty!
you are so pretty my sister !!!
For cleansing balm I recommend warming it up in your hands first, it's much easier
the way i GASPED when you came into the frame oh my GOD youre so pretty????
Best thing I ever started doing was double cleansing (oil cleanser, and then a water cleanser), but it's super important to do both for at least 1 minute each!! You WILL see a difference in a week.
I love ur energy
Korean skincare is the GOAT glad you like it
You should definitely try the hello kitty skincare by itself and see how it works for you since it’s also Korean skincare
Is it okay if you can make a Amazon store link and if you can make a video of your fav products because I’m also a sensitive dry girlie and I love your videos! Seriously thank you so much and I’m so glad that I finally have a UA-camr I can trust 🐚🌅🌊
Isntree is also really good ❤ I bought the whole green tea fresh line by them and it's pure gold. I just ordered the cosrx snail mucin essence, it's not here yet, but very excited for it. Next ive got my sights set on beauty of joseon and that rice toner ❤
I tried the rice toner too and felt the same way. I have very dry sensitive skin too and I have eczema.
I found these two toners way more moisturizing. The HADA LABO Gokujyun Premium Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion and SIORIS Time Is Running Out Mist. The HADA LABO one is thick it almost feels like a serum. I'd suggest trying one of those out if you haven't yet!
You should try a milk cleanser. Specifically Isntree yam root cleanser. Such an amazing cleanser for dry/sensitive skin
Is it good for oily skin? My skin is sensitive as well
hey girl, you should think about trying African black soap. All I use is black soap and Cerave lotion. If I run out of black soap, I use Dr. Bronner’s. But black soap really changed my life. I have oily skin tho
i LIVE for your videos
The anua sunscreen is reallyyyy good. It's similar to the boj one but even better, no white cast AT ALL.
Been eyeing the korean sunscreen for a minute now. Banking on this video to save me.
Your voice is so soothing.
Oh yea the snail essence is great for eczema sensitive skin - and the thicker version for winter 🥰
I LOVED your video😍 cosrx is pronounced cause ( like cause and affect ) so it’s basically pronounced cause-RX :)
I agree with you! I have dry and sensitive skin!.. I loveeee snail mucin and boj glow serum❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ive been thinking abt trying out facemasks but ive never used one so i think ill try n look up the one u mentioned !
Got the NYX brow gel because of you soooo it better be good gurl cause im going on a cruise in 6 daysss😩 I need sum to keep these brows DOWN
also if you have dry skin my favorite cleanser is the beauty of joseon green plum cleanser (their toner is good too) its a gel but its not stripping
I also have dry and sensitive skin but the cleanser I use is the QV foam cleanser and it is sooo go!
there are really nice gel cleansers and milk cleansers in korea !! a gel cleanser i recommend is the rovectin aqua gel cleanser :))
and sheet mask wise, the beauty of joseon centella mask is amazing ! and brand wise, anua + rovectin + numbuzin are rly good
I make jewellery and clothes too!!! In my spare time 😅 hate shopping - love creating 🥰👍
Thank you so so much ❤❤❤❤
I’m so happy that I found your channel! I’m a dry and sensitive skin type as well. I do have rosacea or what I think to be rosacea so it is deemed as sensitive. Do you think that the Korean skincare products would work on my skin? ☺️
You gotta try the torriden dive in soothing cream. I think we have the same skin type and it’s amazing. It’s like a better version of the neutragena gel
SULWHASOO alll the way!! And monthly facials at a Korean spa has made a huge difference to my skin. It does get expensive but I manage my money where I can afford it lol
Girl ur voice ❤️🔥 n skin 🥺
Omg you are so beautiful 😍🤩 if I had deep skin tone i would like to look like youuuu 💖💖💖💖
Great video 👍 . My twin sister and I used to use snail 🐌 slime facial sheet masks . I don’t know why we don’t use them anymore . I have the TonyMoly clean dew aloe foam cleanser and I have the Eunyul Natural Moisture Mask Pack it has hyaluronic acid . It’s a very good facial sheet mask .
u are actually gorgeous oh my good.
Omg I have dry, textured skin too and I have been taking advice from derms, estheticans and even studying myself and I suggest staying away from fragrance free products and finding non comedogenic items: Balm cleansers, Barrier repair, cermaides, glycerine, centella and hylauronic acid and 1 a week exfoliants with pha or lactic acid is great
Some of my favorites are the Skin1004 Hyalu-cica sunscreen and their centella ampoule, the Komucha tea essence (it is expensive but worth it, its thick milky and full of humectants and occlusive) The numbuzin no 3 serum (this varies, luckily my skin loves fermented ingredients but i'd say be cautions) and the Aestura face cream is amazing too
The hado labo permium lotion is good too but I've been easing back into it:) if you don't like balm cleansers still, the hado labo oil cleanser is great too!
Here in Korea the beauty of Joseph is a big hit❤
Maaan, the Abib Heartleaf and centella skin mask sheet converted me overnight 🤣 still use it as a serum - wonderful stuff!!! Off medications for over 3 yrs 🥰 - never felt better 🤩
I love Korean skincare but what I found to be important as a time saver and money saver is buying what products work for your skin type and concerns because they will actually work lol I love corsx though they are great . I’ve seen a lot of these products but some I didn’t buy because it wouldn’t work for my skin type or concern so lol not trying to waste money but yeah corsx is amazing though
With the cleansing balm, you NEED to use the scoops thing because your fingers are the dirtiest thing on your body so using the scoopy scooper scoop makes sure bacteria doesn’t build up in the balm and it also makes sure you don’t break out
