Own notes are usually better but lack the images which printed notes offer, and are time consuming, if you're okay with making them still, they are the best, but I prefer the printed notes

I think it'd be detrimental to skip standard textbooks. Maybe the next exam is not a good step because people will be skipping the standard textbooks in favor of apps and notes. Those textbooks are valuable in making one a good doctor.
