- This is a reupload and as you guys can see I changed the thumbnail as well. This is because I uploaded the original video with a thumbnail that had a drawing of a snork girl, which i didn't own. That drawing belonged to Bonnie Fox ( artbonn...) and since there was no way of contacting me, the only option was to take down the video. After that, UA-cam gave me little information about the claimant but at least i had their e-mail and we talked it out. I'd like to say I'm sorry for using the drawing of a snork girl without permission and I've added my business e-mail under every video so there's a way to contact me if there's a problem in the future.

Artists tend to be defensive about their copyright to the point of not even making sense. I can understand being upset about not being credited, but that's the extent of my sympathy.

@Michal Niestepski I mean, he decided to put the art in the thumbnail, and then he decided not to at least credit the artist (let alone, ask for permission). He puts ads, promotes patreon. Next time when he will use someone else's work, I hope he a least link them.The video is up, and the lesson is learned. And who are you to decide what artwork deserves credit and what not?
@@Ruguy 1) there were no watermarks or even a tag on that "piece of art", she didn't even try to protect it or claim that it's her work to begin with; 2) she copystriked Nikolai, because she received no answer from him for 3 days (omg); 3) it's mediocre art from a no-name, let's be real

I physically felt the snark from here every time I read out the way he wrote out his entire sin of "using a drawing of a snorkeling girl without permission" each time he referenced it.

There was a UA-cam named Hungarrey Boi (BazinGarrey now) that had a bit of a rivalry with Nikolai and you can see references to this in some of Nikolai's older videos...but that sadly seems to have ended due to Nikolai's content being ridiculously superior. However, Vasyan's channel has S.T.A.L.K.E.R shitposts and you could try Simo's and Koifish's channels; they also a style similar to this channel but for other games. Don't expect any of these channels to be as good as this one, though. Nikolai's channel is god tier and the only other channel that I have found to be on the same level is DKUD1337's channel. It has some S.T.A.L.K.E.R. content as well but has some amazing production values. However, I think that is due to assets either built from scratch or ported into Source Filmmaker, rather than raw X-Ray engine stuff like in Nikolai's videos. It makes his channel's content feel more "authentic".

I've been wondering, what's your rig, and do you have FPS limited or vsync turned on?
Im pretty sure alot of issues are coming from FPS going beyond what the engine is able to handle without these wierd issues occurring. I run at like 30 FPS and i pretty much never see such crazy shit happen despite having well over a thousand hours between the vanilla games and mods.

i also run the game at 30 fps (tbh i think in this time you'll have a better rig lol) and sometimes there's bugs, sometimes not

Actually playing it. Not much of progress, but mod is fun. The main pros of the mod is it's centered difficulty level - level higher than SoC, but not MIsery where a wood splinter can hurt you so much you have to use bandages, stimpack and eventually medkit. Yup, I am not into mod for masochists, where difficulty level is to much for me, I just want to have fun, not hours of cursing.
Nikolai is going to flip his Blin when he see's the new Trailer.
