Tim Feerick forever. He will absolutely be missed. The thing with fentanyl is, most people that OD on it, think they are getting cocaine, and do not notice they didn't until its too late. Happened to a few people I know in my home town.
It's an opiate like heroin. It's being mixed with all sorts of street drugs. It was created in China as a pharmaceutical but in reality it was probably a socioeconomic weapon on the world.
Most fentanyl overdoses are definitely not from people using drugs that aren’t opiates. Most of the time it’s people relapsing with no tolerance and trying to use the same amounts they used to use or hitting a hotspot or just underestimating the strength of a new batch etc

Meeting Bernadette was so bittersweet. Such a sweet mother, you could just feel the love she had for her son. I remember speaking with her, letting her know that we are all here for her. R.I.P Tim, forever in our hearts 😔❤️

I can't imagine the heartbreak those guys are going through, Tim been with them really since the beginning (tho not exactly). Going to miss his smiling face on stage, Rock in peace Tim ❤️
Very nice little segment for him. I'm so happy that local news picked this up to honor such an amazing musician. There are so many in the underground scene. You really only see stuff like this about artists in the mainstream, which makes perfect sense. I'm just happy this got out there so that people get eyes on a band that I've loved for so many years, and even more so, eyes on a very amazing bass player. Thank you Tim. It won't be the same, but once Jackpot Juicer drops, I'll be blasting it on repeat for ya.

Subtle bass lines that flow with the rest of the melody and anchor to beat. Tim was a pro at that and more. Thank you Tim. Also on another note, Jon Mess working part time at this news station?

I saw them November 2021 😞 it was surreal. They're the band I go watch live most often since they come pretty close to home (San Antonio and Austin,TX)
For anyone experimenting or using drugs: Please test whatever you are using with a reagent kit or test strips, your life is worth more than $30. This is so sad
Correct but if you're using opiates just use pills from a pharmacy so you know the exact dose you're taking. Test strips cant tell you the mg. Stick to pills & stay away from street cut things like heroin
As much as I was hoping and not wanting to see that his passing was due to natural causes, an overdoing was the absolute last thing that I wanted to see as his untimely demise. Just heartbreaking.
One of my favorite bands. Grew up listening to DGD and Tim has been around since the Kurt Travis days. I briefly met him in line at a Sound of Animals Fighting concert. Cool guy. He will be missed

We are deeply sorry for the loss. This drug is so dangerous and I really hope that they eventually eradicate it from the environment. Sounds like anyone even coming into contact with it can be killed. Contraction workers just passed away because it was in an apartment they worked on. This is scary and maybe should be treated like anthrax if it’s that dangerous.
