No music, no wind noise, pure sound of American freedom, in 4K.
Another wet & hot day at the office for F-15C Eagles and F-15E Strike Eagles from the United States Air Force 48th Fighter Wing "The Liberty Wing" based at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, England. Closeups, launches, afterburners and arrivals.
No doubt this is my best video from RAF Lakenheath, quality wise.
Recorded on Wednesday, 17th of October 2018, when US Navy F/A-18 Super Hornets and USAF F-22 Raptors were also in to play around.

Did 10 years at Lakenheath my first Assignment...1983....It was the F-111F.....and just as I was about to PCS out the F-15E Strike Eagle came in to the 492nd 494th and 495th.....and the F-15C 493rd only.....Great time and the bonus was for me I was born in the UK........

I was near an airbase here in Texas Fort Worth, a number of years ago, while I was there I watched at least 4 or 5 F-16s taxi out and then take off. It was a pretty cool sight.

I was an avionics & weapons systems technician of the wonderful F-15s stationed at the Headquarters of the USAF First Tactical Fighter Wing at Langley AFB, Virginia. This McDonnell/Douglas twin-engine, all-weather tactical air superiority fighter is among the most successful modern fighters, with over 100 victories and no losses in aerial combat.

Love the videos, but it would be much better to see the afterburning aircraft takeoff and ascent than a taxiing aircraft in the foreground. Would love to follow you to see if you had other views/opportunities to capture the power on takeoff into ascent.
