@@LizChadertonArt So glad you've not broken bones. I've had a forearm and a hand. Maybe you could scrounge some from relatives or friends. [but NOT while they're still in traction]. 🤣 Haha. All the best. from Oz

Ooh, I never answered that, did I? Most done by painting round and a few added at the end with gouache. I avoid masking if I possibly can! Gold star for observation 😂
Not sure it would count as a 9th way, or if it would go as pen: white colour pencil, or even better, a soft watercolour pencil can work well on the rough coloured ground. Not terribly crisp, though.
Another excellent lesson, 80- 100 grit sand paper works really well for wave sparkle, go easy though and do it only at the end
Yes! Especially nice on a rough paper 😊
I absolutely adore how you explain things. Thank you so much for the detailed information!
You are so welcome!
Hii artist liz
Onestly it's really very nice art work keep it up god bless you stay connected dear
Thank you so much 😀
Excellent tutorial, really enjoyed it. Worth bearing in mind the colour of the paper-' high white' paper gives an added brightness.
you're right. high white is lovely to work on.
Wonderfully explained, wonderfully concrete, wonderfully complete! Thank you!

Very useful. Some techniques I didnt know. Many thanks.
My pleasure. It's good to have different options for different subjects.
Excellent material for making stencils - are old, no longer needed, X-ray film. Sturdy, but easy to cut.
luckily I haven’t got old X-rays as I’ve never broken anything 😂 great idea though

@@LizChadertonArt Fair Enough. You know many people don't make it once IN-THERE!
Could you tell me what brand of stencils you use please .. lovely work thank you
That stencil was actually for cake decorating! it doesn’t have a brand.
Excellent!!! Really helpful!
Glad it was helpful!

You are right and white pastel pencil can be good too. My watercolour pencils aren’t that opaque….
Thank you Liz, I love how you explained these techniques in your way, making watercolour more fun 💖
That’s such a nice thing to say. I’m glad you enjoy them!
It's pronounced as Gwash not gooache
I don’t like the pronunciation Gwarsh and it really confuses beginners, so I’m sticking with goo-ash 😃
Does it matter? Depending on how I feel, I pronounce it both ways. Lots of words have a variety of acceptable pronunciations, take a chill pill.
Actually I think you find its pronounce either way.
