What if Furuta's way of saying that he whants 101 dalmantians from Rize is actually that he intends to use her kagune and create an army of one eyed ghouls, which would explain dalmantians.. becouse of their two colors black and white like one eyed ghouls eyes. Just a thought..couse i believe Furuta has bigger plans than to bang Rize :D

Interestingly enough, old Kaneki probably would have accepted Furuta's offer. Furuta ultimately offered him a way to "die in style" as the bridge, which a) shows how observant Furuta is to know old kaneki's goals/personality and b) shows how much kaneki has grown throughout the series

Honestly chibi I've come to watch both live reactions and analysis videos and your whole demeanor and delivery makes me watch all the way through. Love how you cover so many things thoroughly almost like a conversation.
But I'll always love this type of stuff because this is how I think about series and I love that you go in depth with series in such a way like with Tokyo ghoul

ok, bear with me here, because i have to say that im not the best at remembering EVERYTHING that has happened throughout tg, but i sort of doubt that furuta has done all of this just for rize, mostly because he gave rize's body WILLINGLY to kanou to be experimented on, thus turning her into what is, basically, a zombie. and not only did he let kanou experiment on her, he TOOK PART IN IT HIMSELF. He had kanou give him rize's kagune.
i just dont understand that if furuta really cared so much for rize, and has supposedly done all of this grimy stuff just because of her, how he would pretty much help in making her into this hardly responsive humanoid thing.
He's worked alongside kanou, and has aided in his experiments, so he has to have known what experimenting on rize would have done to her right?
BoobArt that makes sense. see, I had the idea that the surgery itself is what caused rize to act the way she does now, completely forgot that she wasn't being fed.
although I'm not 100 percent sure what you mean by "normal standards," but I'm kind of slow on the uptake anyways. if I was trying to compare him to some kind of normal standard it wasn't intentional.
anyhow, i still really hope furutas main motive isnt JUST to be with rize. that would, at least personally, be a bit disappointing. but! ishida knows what he's doing, so I'll wait and see.

Didn't watch the review but I wonder if the white suits Kaneki talked about were referring to the ones we saw in Tokyo Ghoul Re chapter 40, the ones Kanae hired.
The White Suits are the group that Naki leads, they've been around for quite a while in the chapters. The JP used is different, it's referring to "white suits" and not the "White Suits."

Furuta is like kaneki but a more irrational version of him, he wants kaneki to become a martyr solely so that he can benefit from both sides coming together for a short time only to eventually rip them apart. furuta also seems to have suffered from his own family members in the past just like kaneki. funny enough they both had feelings for the same woman. the difference here will be that furutas irrational behavior and love of rize will be his down. also on a side note the clowns that are attacking ccg are the ghouls that kanou created on ru island.
It's like Yomo-san said - Kaneki has the ability to accept everyone (he was able to accept Tsukiyama after the whole restaurant shit, in a sense he even accepted Yamori, no surprise if he accepts Furuta at some point). And sure Kaneki made a lot of friends and whatnot throughout the whole thing, so it wasn't all bad. But honestly I can see Kaneki actually killing Furuta if it turns out Hide's actually dead (and possibly not as much because of Kaneki, but because Furuta was involved aside from being hresponsible for turning Kaneki to a half-ghoul), because whenever things got really tough, Hide was always the one who saved Kaneki (pre-TG aside, we have at least two instances in TG and one in :RE).
your right if you do think about it Kaneki and Rize were going on a date so jealously could be very possible explaination

If ishida was inspired by the greatest hero in batman for Amon and the greatest villain in fictional history the joker for Furuta Hats off to ishida. He might have read A Death Of the Family.Chibi if you want to get into to some joker stories let us chibits know. Also isn't Urie was supposed to trail Furuta maybe he heard the convo between the King Kaneki and Furuta.
hahahah. YES. also does anyone else see the similarities btw the characters in TG and As I Lay Dying? like as They carry on the weight of Arima/Rize's death? Kaneki is slowly becoming the unreliable narator who is always thinking and finally goes "insane" etc?
Chibi, to me (and like many others out here) the weekly longing for the latest Chapter of TG(:Re) isn't the same without a good old live reaction/analysis, to help understanding the chapter, letting us think about further things, how the story, the characters will develop. It just needs a good portion of Chibi to add the final touch to another great chapter of our beloved Tokyo Ghoul:Re by one of the greatest mangaka out there at this time, our man Ishida!

I think the white suits are gathered to present what's left of Rize to Furuta.
if i recall correctly, she's quite insane now, trapped in a container, that Yomo has spetialy for her. if Furuta really loves her, then seeng that Rize can't be reasoned with wil drive him berserk, and then white suits and Ken will kill him. it has to be in front of ccg though, so... dunno. it seems as a regicide for me, where each of them (kings) tries to get one another out of position, out of the shadow and in to the sun. furuta wants a scapegoat to have Rize for himself, while Ken has to earn trust of both CCG and humans in general, and presenting the grand traitor Furuta is a vaiable option. but to do that they have to make him... more insane than he really is. so... Rize. it will end where it all began. i think.

Dude, Furuta defeated Eto only because he caught her off guard. You know how Eto is, she's not someone to charge at someone if she knows she's going to get demolished.
Conquering Smile also she was in Cochlea so she had to be restrained and barely had ate anything except her editor. Kaneki is definitely stronger of than Furata
It's probably Dr. Kanou's creations with clown masks who are attacking the CCG. Also it's not just to frame Kaneki but also to break down Matsuri. Which is clearly working. I'm really not sure though how Souta wants to suddenly change from mediocre CCG agent to someone worthy of being bureau chief.
I think it's Gonna be Black Vs White and Kaneki side is Gonna Help The Cg as the News reporter in the Helicopter catches The Ghouls from Kaneki sides doing Good Deeds Facing The Clowns Ghoul and pushing them back and saving the Cg in National News so the people could see there actually good ghouls out there

I feel like the meaning for the hanging man each for Furuta and Kaneki are switched. Furuta's seems to be hanging by his own will not Kaneki. The noose is tied around the collar of Furutas shirt seeming as though he has intentionally placed it there whereas, it is fully wrapped aroung Kaneki's neck, as you would if you were to be hung.
Furutas hand also not being restrained, almost posing.

I think the white suits that Kaneki wants are to be used like uniforms. Most groups are distinguished by them. The Blades, the Clowns, and the Skull Masks were all differentiated by their masks. Aogiri, the White Suits, and the CCG ghoul investigators are all known by their robes, white suits, and trench coats with briefcases, respectively.
If Kaneki lets it be known that the One-Eyed King travels and operates with subordinates dressed in white, affiliations with the Clown-mask-wearing evaders would be doubted or disproved all together.

I believe that Kaneki is using the white suits to distinguish between Furuta's (The Black King) ghouls and Kaneki's (The White King) ghouls. Kaneki might be planning to go up against the clowns while having his ghouls wear white suits. It could also be like you said, to come on better terms with Naki.

Rize always seems to be at the centre of everything and right now she's supposedly still held captive by Yomo. But for all we know she might've escaped. #PrayForTakatsuki
