That video was directed by Jonas Akerlünd, who won grammies for this music videos later, he even did some legendary video clips like Prodigies Smack my Bitch up.
The song is so much, Black Sabbath to me. Also, Tales Of Creation album from 88 is a hidden gem. Title song and Dark Reflections are badass. Met Messiah at an Iron Maiden concert in Stockholm, Sweden that year and he was a very fun person.
The Messiah era is my favorite by far. I love all their music, but nobody ever sounded like Messiah, in any band. It set them apart, and they should have embraced that. PS their live stuff is awesome
Pelle Ohlin(Dead) from Morbid and Mayhem is in this video. He was an art student and that coffin scene is probably his idea becouse when he was with Morbid back in the day they were doing the same stuff on stage
To be honest, if he was the singer of ghost it would be good. I have nothing against ghost fans but I could never get into them, I like the instrumental parts but the singing is too popish to me.
Back in 5th grade we did a Christmas show for all the parents and one part was a couple of us miming to A Sorcerer's Pledge by Candlemass... so basically we forced them to listen to an 8 minute Doom Metal epic. It was kind of like in the music video for Ghost - Cirice except they were a lot more... tolerating =P

Under the Oak is over the top
She's hot, drinks beer, and not only knew the song, she knew the lyrics and drum fills. You've got a keeper! Marry her and treat her right!
That's the plan! 🤣🤟
So cute and metal how you mimic Messiah! You are indeed bewiiiiiiitched \m/

Great to see you react to Candlemass! Please do some more! 'Solitude', 'At the gallows end', 'Sorcerers pledge' are some of the suggestions I have.

Ghost asked Messiah to join him. He declined the offer

I've spelled some real Magick with this song in the background... This is a powerful song. Nightfall is an AWESOME album!
Johan Norqvist had the perfect voice for this kind of music.🤘🏼🤘🏼
