    This peasant would love to have one, but I'm financially stuck with my 850 X2 at the moment . Lol !

    Welcome to NC. Been riding there for years and my Rmax loves it. It's a great place to get you ready for HMT.

    Maybe Yamaha is using their tried and true method of selling off road vehicles with this machine? They always tried to do things a bit different than the others. In 1985 when I saw the 1986 Warrior in Dirtwheels, I had to have one. A local dealer just happened to have five of them within a week of reading the article and I bought one. Then right after the Warrior the 1987 Banshee came out and bought that. Of course I put on Toomey pipes. I had a 660 Raptor and when the 700 R Raptor came out I bought one. It took me a while to get a YFZ450 but sold my totally built out Banshee. I still have the 700R and 450 but I just bought an 2024 X2 1000. So far, so good! I guess I kinda like Yamaha's?

    The '23 Wolverine x4 850 XT-R was, for us seniors, chosen for the quietness, value and fun-factor. Traded in our 2-up atv with no regrets. Happy Trails.

      Can't argue with that. Yamaha is trying to cater to most demographics ;)

    Great Video!! One of these days I am going to try and ride in one of these yamahas, we lost our dealer years ago and nearest one is 100 miles away

    Great machines but I think Yamaha needs to offer a 50 to 57 inch wide wolverine. There are still plenty of us that want sub 60 inch wide, sub 1000 cc buggy's. All of the major brands are moving towards big ass machines!

    Yamaha should incorporate the video title into their marketing.😂

    Very cool stuff. Yamaha will sell a ton of these X2 1000's for sure. The size is perfect for the woods! The trails you were riding in remind me of Hatfield quite a bit, only that they are one way which is really nice. Hatfield can be sketchy at times with the two way trails...

    Come on @YamahaOutdoors if Romeo gets invited to your media outlets then Appalachian Mountain Riders needs invited too…lol. I’ve even given up all my Honda’s in favor of Yamaha😂😂😂
    In all honestly I think the X2 1000 is the perfect blend of X2 and Rmax and all though I love my Rmax, I miss my 850 X4 for its nimbleness. This seems like the perfect machine!

    • @MassiveOverkill
      @MassiveOverkill  11 місяців тому +1

      The suspension is very nice. The ZF Sachs shocks did a great job along with the OG Bighorn tires in not only making it a very comfortable ride, but great handling too.

    Yamaha should have focused on framed upper door enclosure not the trash velcro on the roll bars where the zipper last 1 month then u have to rebuy them

    My wife doesn't want to ride on the back of my Grizzly anymore. She either wants me to sell my Grizzly and get us one of these or give her my grizzly and I get a new atv. I wanted an atv ever since I was a kid and never got one until I was 25. I am now 40 and I don't feel like I've gotten to ride my atv enough considering how long I wanted one for. Not sure If i am ready to give it up for a SxS but at the same time instead of buying a new trailer for 2 atvs and getting another atv and having to lug around and load and unload and strap down 2 atvs all the time. Maybe I should just toss in the towel on atv's and get one of these right now.

    • @MassiveOverkill
      @MassiveOverkill  5 місяців тому

      I say keep the Grizzly and either get one of these or a YXZ 1000R SS. That way you can change it up.

    We have a '21 RMAX4 LE, this X2 besides a slight different front face, it's an RMAX. We paid 30K for RMAX Back in summer of 2020. I would suggest getting the Navigation upgrade if offered on the X2. Great video review, thanks for sharing. Does the X2 offer the different drive modes like the RMAX4?

    • @MassiveOverkill
      @MassiveOverkill  11 місяців тому +1

      Thank you! D-mode is available as an accessory but it's a simpler rocker switch, not a round switch like on the RMAX.

    • @charlesbeckham7746
      @charlesbeckham7746 11 місяців тому +1

      For sure grab that D-mode switch, you'll unlock whole other beast in sport mode, goodness be holding onto something the first time you punch it in sport mode.@@MassiveOverkill

    When this park limits width to 64, does that eliminate the rmax, knowing the tape measure of rmax width is wider?

    • @MassiveOverkill
      @MassiveOverkill  Рік тому +1

      Hey Gary, I would give them a call and ask. They may go by manufacturer's specs or they may measure and they don't specify total width or stance, so call them for clarification.

      14" rims with 30" tires, Fox shocks, a little more suspension travel, nicer dash layout with instrument cluster above the steering wheel. Nicer passenger side grab handle, sealed glove box, better looks with LED running lights

      Everything is relative. In the SxS market of $50K UTV's it certainly is. When you compare it to the competition's offerings it most certainly is.
