Thanks Mike. I liked your suggestion on the suspension settings.
7:20 The D-Mode switch is an optional addon. _"Cost savings"_ my ass. 😀It's added revenue that should be included on the SE at least. I can see it in a way. Most people aren't going to use it or will use it twice and leave it in Trail mode anyway.

The utility/sport machine many have been waiting for, this is a winner. I wish you could unlock the rear diff for use around the house, so you don't tear up your grass, and many uses people do with these machines...

Like that you're not bashing your knees. Making these items fully "trail ready" still requires extra work by the buyer which is a no go for all of these items but to their credit the entire Industry seems be *"going there"* with say with big mud guards to protect the engine from at least not getting wholly doused in the crud and gunk. Definitely like the rear view mirror as opposed to side mirrors.

Genuinely nice package, I think Yamaha will sell a lot. Personally, I think that little speedo in the center of the dash is a huge letdown compared to the rest of the interior. It needs to be bigger and attached to the steering wheel. But overall, I think it's a very capable, good-looking machine.

Hey ! really nice video, I test rode a 850 Wolverine (video on my channel) and I really liked it a lot, the only thing was I personally found the 850 was SO nice and quiet but was lacking a little bit of punch power.... Then my friend went and got the Rmax and I test rode that (Video on my Channel) and I loved the Rmax, the power was perfect, but the Rmax was larger and I liked the site lines out the front of the wolverine as you mentioned. The wolverine in the tight trails was so nimble and quick, so I was excited to see Yamaha slap the 1000cc motor in the smaller machine. I'll be looking forward to seeing the ride video, hopefully you guys can get the 4 seater option to look at as well..... my growing family, I'm looking at a 4 seater thats not as long as a school bus lol thanks for all the video, you guys need to come to New Brunswick. Cheers !

@@dirttraxtv The reason I like to lower doors is because they give you more freedom, don't make you feel so caged in. I'm a convert from the Jeep world and that's what I like so much about the UTVs, you just feel more out there and connected with the trail. I'm all for full door options if that's what people want in the aftermarket but gosh I hate to see the OEM ones be so confining. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks. I'll comment on cab noise to say I can hear the wind blasting by me mixed with awesome sounds from the twin cylinder and the exhaust. It isn't an enclosed cab and it isn't a Kinetic so cab noise will be what it is.

I've always bought machines for the suspension. Motorcycles, SxS, Atv's, whatever. If you put this up against a base General (not the XP) or 1000s then you really got to be looking for something particular in your machine. The 1000s interior is pretty... basic but the doors are higher and the gauges are where they are suppose to be. The Base General also has good doors, gauges and nice interior. But basic shock, steel wheels and no winch leaves it lacking. The Yamaha is looking real good with nice wheels, winch, interior, shocks and roof, but those doors are a let down. Cab enclosures are big here in Nfld. No outside handle and such a large area to cover with a soft upper is not gonna look good, and making an unsupported large frame firm and tight where the door meets the roof line over a couple years of use will be difficult.. I could deal with the gauges, but I don't think that door would grow on me.

I've said it for years. Constructive criticism. It's always, look it has doors, a hood, tires. But it's almost never mentioned how easy maintenance access is, where are the intakes, what's the clearance.
We live in Canada where there are vast changes in terrain. Knowing what the machine can handle is more of a deal breaker than doors.
My area is hard pack, rock, thick forests, and water. Add a good rainfall and then you add deep water holes in trails and peanut butter mud. And we also have the occasional skeg.
So when I repeatedly make this suggestion, it's for people to know more. I've had to learn which models suck for my area by trial and error and my bank account.
So please, save someone some serious jing and get important details. And heck, make a video on understanding considerations when buying an OHV.

Thanks for your input. I get into deeper detail in my full review of this machine. This is just an overview. I have started to integrate serviceability into my segments, which you can see in my review of the ZFORCE 950 Sport. However I deliberately did not touch on it with this machine because I did not have enough time with it to familiarize myself with its serive points so I decided to keep my information based on performance. Sorry I couldn't give you everything you needed here but there's a solid chunk of good info in this segment and my upcoming review for most people to decide if this is worth looking at or not.
