Cathy Dennis - Just Another Dream (Mon Amour Parfait Megamix)

Cathy Dennis forged an impressive career in the 2000s as a co-writer of smash-hit singles for artists including Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry and Britney Spears. This was her second spell in the spotlight, following a successful stint in the late 80s and early 90s as a vocalist, scoring hits in conjunction with D-Mob (Daniel Poku) and as a solo artist. A huge favourite of mine has always been her 1991 hit "Just Another Dream," which features Rick Astley-ish background vocals from "Dancin' Danny D" (another alias for Mr Poku!). Produced and mixed by Danny in conjunction with Shep Pettibone, the single reached #2 on the US Dance chart, #9 on the US Hot 100, as well as hitting top 20 pop in Australia, Ireland, Canada and the UK.
