You are creative. I like your pot stand design👍 and also your own heat exchanger👍. Impressive boil time. I like the jetboil burner locking to the pot system hopefully your creative mind can come up with something similar. Thanks for sharing 💕

Great video dude. Love the cocktail stove and at 2 mins wow, fast boil time ad that was without a lid. The pot helped tho, but you did an amazing job on this build and design. thanks for sharing it with us.

This stove is a true work of art. The compactness and rigidity of the folding pot stand is what impressed me the most!

Thanks! I was not sure how to combine that footage in this video, because this was not really a tutorial, so I just tacked it on the end haha.

Nice build. Very clean design. Was that a 2-cup boil test you did? If so, then a 2 minute boil is pretty impressive! Hellofa lot faster than the ultralite alcohol stoves I've built!

Sorry for my late reply, yes two cup boil. I am at about 7000ft elevation so water boils at about 200 degrees F. Thanks for the comment!

Have you considered the strainer from an espresso machine? The are usually stainless steel with very small holes. I think it would give you the rigidity you are looking for in the primary grate with the larger holes, but would give you the mixture you are looking for in the weaker grating with smaller holes. I have found espresso machines at thrift shops to be very cheap. Here in Texas I see them for around $12, they are also great steam vessels! You should also consider anchoring your vice, so you don't cut your fingers with your tools. Just a thought. :P

A Lot of Vowels Interesting, I will keep a lookout for an espresso machine.

clkindred Here are some links for the one I found. It seems to be a pretty common one at the good wills around here:

A Lot of Vowels Oh I HAVE seen those things, I'm not a coffee drinker so I thought it was just a small coffee maker. I wonder if they sell replacement strainers, so I don't have to buy the entire machine, but still want 3 or 4 of them to play with.

clkindred www.ereplacementparts.com/filter24t-p-853965.html about $4, for the filter by itself. I suggested getting the whole machine because they are cheap steam pressure vessels with lots of good reusable parts.

Great Video, I'm very impressed. I watched a lot of your other videos too and sometimes I felt a little lost, because I'm from Switzerland and I'm not used to the US. American units, It would be very kind of you, for all your viewers from oversea if it was possible to post the length and the weights (in Metric units) in the description, so it's easier to follow and rebuild. Thanks.
I'm sry for my unprofessional language, but as already said english is not my mother language.
never the less I love your videos, I'm glad you do and did them =)

Thank you very much! I'm sorry I'm not better about stating both metric and imperial units, It's in my mind as something I need to be doing for the international viewers but I often forget. Was it the stove weights in this video you would like to see in metric? I did not mention a lot of measurements in this video, that is the only one I can think of. Anyway, I'll make it a point to state both units in future videos. Thanks again!

      clkindred Thanks a lot
After some time it was possible for me to compare the length units, but with the U.S. weight units I still have a hell lot of problems =P
Keep your videos up they are great
