I would remove the "from Japan" qualifier. They are my favorite rock band in the world now, and I'd say they are my favorite since the Beatles. Close call with Nightwish. Happy for you that you'll see them live--I've seen them and it's life changing.
Ever since they moved to Pony Canyon label, they've been putting English subtitles to their official videos. They've even putting English subtitles to their older videos as well. Pony Canyon obviously understands the Band-Maid fan base very well😏 This song is in my top 5 fav Band-Maid songs for sure! Surrender love, and hunky-dory day👍😉
Misa’s image as dark and brooding has evolved. When I saw them live and stood eight feet away from her I was amazed at how gorgeous she is. And yes she is all over that bass, even more than what I thought.

'Hold-my-beer-moment' is something I'll have to remember. 😂👍🏻 When you paused before the solo part and already highlighted Misa and Kanami for what they had contributed to the song up to that point, I was already grinning from ear to ear and wondering what kind of face you would make a few seconds later. 🤭 You're absolutely right, MISA is an absolute bass monster in the most positive sense, and Kanami's 'answer' to it is no less impressive. As you say, each of them stands out somehow. After having the song on continuous loop since yesterday, for me, it's Saiki who is even sexier than ever with her deep voice, and Akane who drives the song with her gallop on the toms (I don't know if you can call it that) right from the beginning, during the chorus and the fills in between. Is it my new #1 from Band-Maid? "Influencer" was played on Sep.7 at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo in Band-Maid's pre-US concert as the 13th song and that was the premiere (live debut). Just so you know, I witnessed it at the venue ヽ(^o^)丿. I laughed at the "hold my beer" comment after the Misa and Mincho bass and guitar runs. I could listen to that bass all day, Misa is the mistress of the dirty, growling, thundering bass riff. Miku worked in a Maid Cafe before starting the band and liked the juxtaposition between cute maid costumes and rock music 🤘

ey man, been skippin around your channel some,(watching various videos that catch my eye,.) thought of a reaction suggestion for you: now i hear you like folk, and you clearly like metal, so i have a folk band metal fans like for you, and i can't see if you've ever done a video on them before, Heilung, more than a folk band, they seek to bring you the closest thing they possibly can to songs/other performed by the relevant peoples, straight out of the germanic iron age. largely pre-viking age, scandinavian focus, they do have one or two song based off viking age poems or runestones or what have you, but mostly it's pre-viking age, more iron age. as for the song to recommend, i can say go for Krigsgaldr, it was MY first, another one i'm thinking of is "In Maidjan" those are from the first album, they've got a second out now. i will also say,IMO as a general rule, go for the live performances where you can,any music video versions may be different and,personally, i like the live ones best, you can find i think all? of the songs live,in one big long video, a full performance, their first concert(i think.) or any individual song with LIFA in the title, i think Norupo is the same either way. but don't quote me on that, i've mostly watched the music video, funny enough. *TLDR:* so yea, i think you should check out Heilung, either/any Krigsgaldr, In Maidjan, Norupo, or any others, really.
