Great tool for comp roof shingle repair on older shingles. You don't have to lift the shingles high enough to get a hammer hit directly on fastener, therefore not creasing the older shingle.

Ehhh hardly. Lmao this tool is a money maker as even with this tool older 3 tabs are too brittle to handle the repair. Resealing with tar damaged shingles can be a fix but it’s ugly.

But it works. So the Insurance company saves money, and the homeowners premiums don't go up. Sure the roof salesmen doesn't get to sell a whole new roof to the owner, but at least the actual roofer still gets paid for the repair.
