@@UltimateKyuubiFox I'm not really saying otherwise (at least that was not my intention). Only that Doctor Puppet seem to have focused more on that side of him and less on his gloomy and alien side that I vaguely remember as being central to his character.
theIcyToad The interesting thing about Nine is how his most memorable scenes seem to be the ones with his rage or his angst, where the majority of his screentime has him smiling like a kid, lmao. I think Dalek is the only episode where the majority of the time is spent on Nine’s PTSD and every other episode highlights his remarkable levels of sincerity and joy. It always felt to me that memories of Nine are made chiefly in contrast with Ten. RTD wrote them fairly similarly, but it feels like each Doctor is supposed to seem distinct and so the fandom found labels for them even when they’re notably alike. Ten even had far more dour moments yet he’s remembered as a very chipper guy. The one thing that feels true is that Ten took Nine’s personality and dialed his cheekiness up, to the point where I guess Nine felt more morose by comparison? It’s a strange thing.
I know you said you don't have any future plans for Doctor Puppet, but I do have a suggestion for a future Christmas video: Have the 13th Doctor and her 3 Companions land on an icy alien planet and when they exit the TARDIS they see another TARDIS and out walks the 12th Doctor and his Companions (Bill, Nardole, and Missy). Have each walk up next to each other (Ryan and Nardole, Yaz and Bill, 13 and Missy, and Graham and 12), and have 12 believe that Graham is his successor, to which he points to 13 and they do the usual "You're me?" "Yep, I'm you." reaction. Then end it with 12 and 13 giving each other their hoodies and the 8 of them celebrating together.
This was brilliant! In fact it made me realise a Doctor Puppet audio series or book series would be awesome!! So excited to find out what project you guys do next. Thank you for this awesome series :D
@@HelloDoctorPuppet Your Doctor Puppet is AMAZING! I just found this and am in love with that series. While I appreciate that you want to move on, please consider doing a year-end special. I wish you best of luck in all of your other endeavors. You and your team are incredibly talented!
@@kalinystazvoruna8702 Thank you so much!! That means the world to us. Doctor Puppet is extraordinarily time-consuming to make and also quite expensive. We can't make it without proper funding. So tell the BBC if you want more! ;)
@@HelloDoctorPuppet I'm happy you were able to work with such great people, to produce what you did. I'm a little sad that you've had to move on (unless funding appears). But I'm glad you chose quality over quantity. I'm sadder when I find out about something great, and I simply don't have time for all the wonderful, deserving projects. Thanks for watching! Expect another video this week about the new project.
Yes thank you I've waited for another video and are you still thinking of making the graphic novel I commented on
Has Scott ever considered getting a job with Big Finish because he did really well in this?
I actually did sound design for Big Finish earlier this year :)
Whomever did that artwork of the Doctors Puppets is a genius.
His name is Isam S. Prado! He painted a lot of the background in the earlier episodes. And yes - he's brilliant!!
This version might have been too cute and wholesome to exist 💕
Jordanne I outlined it while I was working on a pre-school show. Yes, I agree.
Doctor Puppet was my favorite thing to watch growing up. Thank you for taking the time and effort for making so many people happy.
You're making me feeling VERY old! But thank you for watching.
the Doctor Puppet version of the 9th seems a lot nicer and more relatable.
Nine is actually kind of a sweetheart if you’re watching his episodes instead of vaguely remembering them. Honestly. He’s super charming.
He has the best smile! And he loves bananas. He is definitely a bit sassy though.

@@UltimateKyuubiFox I see you've given a lot more thought to his character than I have.
I guess I'll just leave it at that

Great story, would love to see some one make an animatic of this.
Well I like the ending that made it more but this one is also nice
You need to turn around quick, there’s a weeping angel
Oh no!!
Very Sweet!
There will be another opprtunity for a party with all of the Doctors, filled with feasting, dancing, and jelly babies. Until then, job well done.😍

I have submitted to your yt channel
@@lukesolo7930 Aw wow thank you so much. That's very kind :)
Aww this was so lovely
That is an interesting idea of the ending. I feel like the finally that you chose worked better but it was an interesting version.
That is such a sweet story!
I loved your story. I can't wait to see what other ideas you come up with.
A pity this wasn't animated. It's very good.
I do know Nick Briggs! I did a little work for Big Finish earlier this year, but sadly not in a vocal capacity :)
This ending is SO sweet! :
I loved this video, every second of it!
Woah more Doctor Puppet. Yayyyy
Nice alternate ending. Also loved your appearance in the Big Finish livestream.
Thank you - this is beautiful.
Beautiful! The Ninth Doctor peeled a banana. Number 9 is my Doctor.
And also,
Executive Producer "RALPH" The Wonder Llama
Loved it!!!
What do you mean that this is the end of the series and there won't be any more Doctor Puppet? ::WAILS in sad frustration::
We've been working on it for over 6 years, and it's time for some new projects. But who knows...

I feel like you guys could of done it but with small changes
I think you could’ve done the party version.
Yep
Beautiful audio, would you be okay if people created live action versions?
That would be so cool to see!
I still don’t understand why the 13th doctor or the war doctor weren’t in the finale.
13 was introduced while we working on it. The War Doctor is in it... watch until the very end. ;)
Doctor Puppet ok! I found him.
The original ending made way more sense. Also no war doctor 🙁
