Oh my God he was such a kind gentle man. He didn’t deserve to die in this manner. Rest in peace Gordy and may you and Frank be reunited up in heaven. 🙏
It is extremely challenging to maintain a cohesive band. You need to have musical and personal harmony. And then, there's always that one person who thinks they know everything. To be able to stay together for 4 decades speaks VOLUME. Each member of this band is larger than life. They used to perform on our campus a few times a year, and every time they did, it was a major event. People would talk about it for a whole month. Raymond and I would always be there, right in front of the stage, instead of checking out girls or getting drunk. We were there to enjoy the band, to learn from their performance. We did have a punk band. On one occasion, the lead vocalist leaned over and asked, "Do you guys want to come backstage and have a Heineken with us after the show?" Frank was funny and unpredictable. Everything he did was art. You never knew what he would do next. Gord was the quiet one in the background, always wearing a smile. But you knew he was the Emperor. Steve was a powerful presence but never wanted to overshadow Frank “The King." After that, every time they came through, we would get together. We were on a first-name basis. We were humble students, and they were legends. How cool is that? Fifteen years later, I owned my own jazz club. I would always ask musicians who came through about them. Someone told me that Frank wasn't doing well in Toronto. Ironically, I booked a non-jazz duo from New York, and it turned out to be Dave from Teenage Head. Finally, I had the chance to jam a few Teenage Head tunes with him. I always thought that one day they would play at my humble establishment. I eventually left the business, but I continued to follow their journey online. It was heartbreaking to hear about Frankie's demise. I do remember he was a big smoker. At least he went doing what he liked. Gordie could have embraced new opportunities, but instead, he held on tightly to his "old pal" and it led him down the path of depression. I was “certified” once for a month. I know all about the psychiatric ward and the ongoing struggle for recovery. Just a few weeks ago, I found out about Gordie's own passing in 2022. It's beyond words to describe. People are never truly gone as long as we remember them. I don't think I'll ever forget, “Do you want to come backstage and have a Heineken with us after the show?" Rest in peace, Frankie and Gordie. Take care Steve.

Tragic and Sad .
Rest In Peace, and long live the music of Teenage Head.
senseless death of a music great :((
The Son was found Not Guilty by reason of insanity
Blow my jets. I'm a Teenage Header . RIP🌹
Never heard of the Teenage Heads, but what a sad story nevertheless.
Amazing band, very big in the Late 70s and early 80s, RIP Gord
Mask on what a goof
Why is he wearing a mask?
Because he wants to.
Probably because he wants to stay safe. There are tons of people that still wear masks. Not a big deal. Move on about it wow
@@williamsanderson7971 Stay safe from what?
Who cares what he's wearing? It's a free country. He can wear some dirty old Pac Man Underoos on his face if he wants. He's not hurting anyone.
