Sara, kudos to you for uploading this reaction as I know you are not feeling well! Please do not apologize for doing one song, as it is better than none!! I always loved this instrumental, as it is heavy and hits hard!
I remember buying this record when it was brand new in 1981 when i was 17 lol (yes im old) great to see a young gen person enjoying the music of my youth...peace
Sorry you are not feeling well Sarah. I'm sure being that it's hard to sit for a long time, doing reactions is difficult. Genghis Kahn is one of the few instrumentals that Iron Maiden has. You'll find that Iron Maiden has a large catalog of songs related to either events in history, people in history or books or poems.
Thanks I've never heard this song before! Great analysis too, thanks for your channel! You seem to listen to a lot of bands who I like but haven't heard THAT much of so this should be good!
Sorry you're not feeling well not being able to sit down and makes for a hard listen to react to a song I'm sorry about that.....but....I'm so glad you decided to jump to this song..... This is my all-time favorite Iron maiden song.
Iron Maiden hasn't done an instrumental track since 1984 ("Losfer words") on the 'Powerslave' album... It's a pity cos they were really good at it, especially 'Transylvania' and 'Genghis Khan'... Later records, they made longer instrumental sections in their songs ('Mother Russia'... 'For the greater good of God'... 'Empire of the Clouds') Hope u feel better. Great job... keep it up 🤘🤘
Great fucking instrumental
The drumming by Clive Burr is the highlight for me. Hope you're feeling better, thank you!
Looking forward for more Maiden reactions in chronological time, cool!
This was a nice introduction to progressive metal for my old teen self.

Thank you. Eh, it happens. Haha no jumping, just going in order. Killer song though and can absolutely see how it's a favorite.
@@SarahraeLivingLife oh that's right... I thought it was the second to last song.
