    How to do wire repairs:
    • How do I repair damage...
    Hi
This car came to me with an intermittent Airbag light.
The light would come on randomly.
Scanner pointed to the driver side pretensioners circuit, and when I started to touch the loom and plugs under the seat, I was able to replicate the fault.
Watch the video to see how I have repaired this problem...
    Hope you enjoy the video.
Any questions please put them below.
Like always, thank you for watching!

Thank you very Michael for the informative video. This solved the same problem on our grand scenic. Kind regards, Roel!

Check the readings of the yaw sensor on live data... if is bad, then probably you need a replacement...
Yes, usually they require to be calibrated...
      👍👍👍

Hi, Thanx for this. One question though; Some recommend that one disconnects the battery before playing with the Airbag connector so as not risking the airbag to accidentally trigger. What's your take on this?

Hi, Thanks a ton for making this video. Its very useful as I've this problem with Scenic too.
How did you remove the center storage? I have a scenic 05, the storage box in that is fixed to the floor. I don't see anything like that in your car. I could not undo the screw due to the front seats. I believe this needs to be removed first?

Hello, very helpful and clear videos. Thank you. From your experience, an advise please. The rear foglight wire runs via the R2 connectors (all dry and clean) to the UCH pin 6. At the R2 I measured only 4,5 volts. Too low to light the bulb. Next step is checking the UCH pin for voltage. The UCH switches the dash symbol on but foglight is off. Is there a relay or fuse invloved somewhere? Thank you, regards Henk NL

      @LMAutoRepairs  3 роки тому

      Hi
No... the switching is done by the UCH alone...
If you have that low voltage at the UCH pin, perhaps the unit is failing...
Obviously, check that all the powers and grounds for the UCH are good as well...
Thank you for watching and for your comment!

Do you have a video of how to take car seat out. And disconnect the seat belt in the side of the seat connected to the seat??

The guy give you his knowledge on the plate for free and you moan about details like that. He's a mechanic not a news presenter.
