I read a few comments about Ailee and Hyorin being better than Taeyeon. Seriously?! Why can't everyone just enjoy this marvelous performance and not start a competition about who's better and all. Instead of pointing out each and everyone one of their weaknesses, why not point out their specialties? To start off, Ailee has an AMAZING voice! Her voice gets you hyped up ready to party. Hyorin's voice brings delightfulness and happiness to you. While Taeyeon's voice is very soothing and helps you relax. I don't understand why. People say that Taeyeon's is just average while Ailee and Hyorin are the best. In my opinion, the superior group of beyond perfect voices include Ailee, Hyorin, Taeyeon, Lee Hi, Baek AYeon, and many other artists. First of all, I'm a Blackjack and I passed by this video and watched it since I'm a fan of Frozen. AND THIS PERFORMANCE WAS DOPE! One of the amazing performances of all time. GOT GOOSEBUMPS ALL OVER ME, especially when Hyorin sang that high note in the last part. WOAH! DAEBAK! Hyorin and Ailee really are one of the best singers in Korea. Hands down!

i disagree, Ailee's voice is deep which gives the feeling she's more powerful, but actually both of them have the same strenght in their voice, i can even say sometimes hyorin overpowers ailee as she does at one moment in this video. Ailee voice is really powerful but i already heard this kind of voice, maybe i prefer hyorin's because hers is so pitched but she managed to make it powerful and deep. i never heard a voice like her, pitched but so strong!
GunadonZXC I think xDareDBx knows a bit about Kpop Idols doing English covers since he makes compilation videos of these covers, he has at least 10 of these videos, and has included Ailee and Hyorin performing English covers in many of these videos. So, yes, Hyorin would be able to sing the English version.

Hyorin outshines Ailee. Her voice suits well to the song. Ailee did also a great job with flawless high notes so as Hyo. Really finding it hard to choose between who's performance I liked better...they are both amazing talented singers and I love them both equally...I really do love the way hyorin sings it though....Idk her voice just feels warmer and nicer I know it probably obviously doesn't fit the character who sings the song or the English person who sings it at all but I just love her soft voice...and I find Ailee's voice idk some what too low or something I don't know what it is....I do love the way she sings it though...defenetly love the power she uses for this song and her voice seems like it would give a cold impression and that's the type of voice I see would fit Elsa :3 so in the end....they are both just perfect.
Would of preferred they sang in English as it portrays more emotional feeling than Hangul can! Both singers are good in their own right Ailee: deeper, richer and more mature. Hyorin: softer, mellow and pure in tone. Oh and yeah I know music from personal training and I teach children to sing for therapy!!
If you watch more videos of them two and critically analyse their voices in this video, Hyolyn is actually singing in a rich, mature, deeper voice while Ailee in a softer, pure voice xD. Hyolyn naturally has a deeper/husky voice and Ailee also naturally has a pure and soft voice.
That's true both ladies are very talented in their own style and delivery, I find Ailee to be a more powerful singer. Where as Hyolyn voice since her debut has changed and become more deeper and huskier as you said. They suit their given genres: I hope Hyolyn develops her own rather imitate as she has done in the past of some U.S female artist! Otherwise I love watching them on 'Immortal Songs'.
Leah Light She has been quoted in the past in saying that her inspiration and style is heavily influenced by Beyounce! And at times listening to some of her individual songs, there are comparisons to the merican artist!
Jiraiya_Ero_Sannin she has said that she likes Beyonce, Faith Evans, Lauryn Hill, Melanie Fiona,Jamie Fox, Mariah Carey and Trey Songz to mentions few, that does not mean she copies their style. Yes she loves Beyonce but in no way does she imitate her style in her own music. Hyolyn's solo album testifies to that fact. If anything, Ailee imitates Beyonce's vocal style. I am not saying this to bash or anything but there are clear similarities in her music to Beyonce's (eg. Heaven & Halo, U&I and Crazy In Love). Even towards the end of U&I you can hear that that run Ailee does is a straight up copy of Beyonce's live run from Crazy In Love.
I think this is perfect! I wish this was the version they used for Korea instead. Their voices mesh amazingly well, and this is one of the best pop versions I've seen.
Ailee is certainly pretty and better at English (she's Korean-American like myself), but it's very obvious that Hyorin is more experienced. Ailee has a nice, cool, deep and high voice but needs to work on control. Hyorin is just beast at singing because its been at least 6 years since she's been debuting. But Ailee does have so much potential, and so I respect them both.
LOVE this~ but they both had very different styles of singing it. Hyorin's was sweeter, similar to how she originally sung it for the official Korean Frozen movie. While Ailee's was a bit stronger and fiercer, similar to how the English version was sung. Both different but sounded amazing nonetheless. :)
I think it's better if without taeyeon.. because taeyeon have soft and high-note voice.. taeyeon is very suite with IU.. hope they would make a duet..^^

I'm amazed by Hyorin's agility, her riffs are precise and separated very well. 2013-2014 was her prime era ngl. She even had multiple supported notes up there (F5). Ailee? She SANG.
Basically Ailee and Hyolyn have the similar voices. Hyolyn voice is husky and she can go really low. Just listen to her talking. Ailee, on the other hand, her voice is high pitched and really strong. The way she talk is quite high. Both are them are the best, really. No matter what. Both of them acknowledge each others voices. Please, they always compete on Immortal Songs.

The media does that for people who don't know them. Saying, "These are great singers!!" isn't as relatable as "They have as good a voice as Beyonce!!" (This is especially important when promoting them to foreigners) Eventually, as viewers become familiar with them, they won't associate them with that Beyonce comparison and they'll acquire their own identity as singers.

I know both of these women are amazing singers. But you could really so how much more power Ailee has behind her voice. I really don't think there is anyone who can come close to her ability in Korea. At least in the Idol Community.
i disagree, Ailee's voice is deep which gives the feeling she's more powerful, but actually both of them have the same strenght in their voice, i can even say sometimes hyorin overpowers ailee as she does at one moment in this video. Ailee voice is really powerful but i already heard this kind of voice, maybe i prefer hyorin's because hers is so pitched but she managed to make it powerful and deep. i never heard a voice like her, pitched but so strong!

GunadonZXC I think xDareDBx knows a bit about Kpop Idols doing English covers since he makes compilation videos of these covers, he has at least 10 of these videos, and has included Ailee and Hyorin performing English covers in many of these videos. So, yes, Hyorin would be able to sing the English version.

Their voices are absolutely powerful and different. One has a strong deep voice whereas the other one has a strong but higher pitch. They both are amazing. No doubt that Ailee can sing! I've seen her other videos and she always kills it. This time though, I think Hyorin's voice matches the song more. She has that clear and crisp "princessy" voice which matches the song. hahaha but regardless, my two favorite kpop singers ! :)

Really finding it hard to choose between who's performance I liked better...they are both amazing talented singers and I love them both equally...I really do love the way hyorin sings it though....Idk her voice just feels warmer and nicer I know it probably obviously doesn't fit the character who sings the song or the English person who sings it at all but I just love her soft voice...and I find Ailee's voice idk some what too low or something I don't know what it is....I do love the way she sings it though...defenetly love the power she uses for this song and her voice seems like it would give a cold impression and that's the type of voice I see would fit Elsa :3 so in the end....they are both just perfect.

Would of preferred they sang in English as it portrays more emotional feeling than Hangul can! Both singers are good in their own right Ailee: deeper, richer and more mature. Hyorin: softer, mellow and pure in tone. Oh and yeah I know music from personal training and I teach children to sing for therapy!!
If you watch more videos of them two and critically analyse their voices in this video, Hyolyn is actually singing in a rich, mature, deeper voice while Ailee in a softer, pure voice xD. Hyolyn naturally has a deeper/husky voice and Ailee also naturally has a pure and soft voice.
That's true both ladies are very talented in their own style and delivery, I find Ailee to be a more powerful singer. Where as Hyolyn voice since her debut has changed and become more deeper and huskier as you said. They suit their given genres: I hope Hyolyn develops her own rather imitate as she has done in the past of some U.S female artist! Otherwise I love watching them on 'Immortal Songs'.

Jiraiya_Ero_Sannin she has said that she likes Beyonce, Faith Evans, Lauryn Hill, Melanie Fiona,Jamie Fox, Mariah Carey and Trey Songz to mentions few, that does not mean she copies their style. Yes she loves Beyonce but in no way does she imitate her style in her own music. Hyolyn's solo album testifies to that fact. If anything, Ailee imitates Beyonce's vocal style. I am not saying this to bash or anything but there are clear similarities in her music to Beyonce's (eg. Heaven & Halo, U&I and Crazy In Love). Even towards the end of U&I you can hear that that run Ailee does is a straight up copy of Beyonce's live run from Crazy In Love.

I think this is perfect! I wish this was the version they used for Korea instead. Their voices mesh amazingly well, and this is one of the best pop versions I've seen.
Ailee is certainly pretty and better at English (she's Korean-American like myself), but it's very obvious that Hyorin is more experienced. Ailee has a nice, cool, deep and high voice but needs to work on control. Hyorin is just beast at singing because its been at least 6 years since she's been debuting. But Ailee does have so much potential, and so I respect them both.

LOVE this~ but they both had very different styles of singing it. Hyorin's was sweeter, similar to how she originally sung it for the official Korean Frozen movie. While Ailee's was a bit stronger and fiercer, similar to how the English version was sung. Both different but sounded amazing nonetheless. :)

The media does that for people who don't know them. Saying, "These are great singers!!" isn't as relatable as "They have as good a voice as Beyonce!!" (This is especially important when promoting them to foreigners) Eventually, as viewers become familiar with them, they won't associate them with that Beyonce comparison and they'll acquire their own identity as singers.
