Great video, but you omitted the fact that all modern Chromebooks have access to the whole library of Android apps on the Google Play Store. Granted, some of these apps aren't optimized for a larger screen, but they're getting better. Also, Chromebooks are able to natively run Linux applications which has gotten me through when a particular app (like Audacity) wasn't available on the web or Android.

Great stuff. I left my job and went solo by starting a business as a writer and editor about a year and half ago. I purchased an HP Chromebook, and it's been everything I need.

He really doesn't know what he's saying. The chromebook plus does amazing for editing, gaming, business work ect.

Is there anyway you can do a similar video comparing Chromebooks vs. Azure/Windows devices? For context, I'm a School IT Director and I know that asking this opens you up to look at a wide range of Windows laptops/desktops, but I'm more curious to know your thoughts about the breakdown of ChromeOS vs. Windows/M365 from an IT perspective, especially when we already have every student on a Chromebook. I've been telling my leadership/admin for 2 years now Chrome/Google will save us money and no one seems to understand why we should "downgrade" to Chrome and they're stuck in their ways of using Windows and Microsoft tools.

We might do a video in the future, but in the meantime I can say categorically the end user support costs go to nearly 0 when running chrome - like 70 to 80% drop in time spent on end user support by help desk
Zero malware, zero spyware, like going from outlook to Gmail and never having to worry about spam again - you just don’t have to worry about the type of crap windows accumulates overtime
If you’re managing a school I’m assuming you’ve already got directory infrastructure that likely has other purposes to stick around, so the benefit of ditching that is moot (whereas a small business can completely eliminate the need for directory services outside of workspace)
The bridge will have to cross is and user education and that requires a lot of change management. Good luck!
      Hope that helps

You don't know enough about Chromebooks to discuss this.

I agree this was horrible to watch, absolutely blows my mind how bad and wrong you are about Chromebooks. My chromebook has adobe pro, photoshop, steam, Xbox, full Google home integration. Google Gemini Advance, everything about a chromebook plus is superior to a MacBook.
The MacBook has so little to offer compared to a chromebook plus it's not even close.

@@itGenius_ You claim it has no desktop level applications ignoring that with only a few exclusions like snaps a Chromebook can basically be a full Linux machine. Allowing you to run any desktop application available to Linux.

I'm ignorant enough about Chromebooks to need to ask, "secure from whom?" Doesn't Google have access to anything you do on a Chromebook? While I can't imagine Google would waste its time and resources monitoring everything ChromeOS users do, can't it just randomly sample users' activity and possibly deeper information to understand what ChromeOS users are using Chromebooks for?

They only use aggregate data, and they really don’t care enough about an individuals experience for them to bother looking deeper…

Your intro is so wrong saying Chromebook is basically just a Chrome browser, I have Photoshop pro I have Adobe express I have so much more than just Chrome browser, I can play all of my Xbox games I have steam compatibility, i can run Linux and learn coding.
Video, photo and music editing is superior on my Chromebook Plus compared to my MacBook.
Honestly the worst review I've ever seen.

Ion know about it being superior tho cause Chromebooks don't even support high body or audio codecs, tbh for content creation rn a Mac is best
Although I agree he should've highlighted android and Linux app support
