“Fans” gave up on them before Sebastian even left, and now they’re whining.
Axl Rose talked about reuniting with Slash in the early 2000s and said "Not in this lifetime." And they did work it out in 2016 and still going almost a decade later. If Axl and Slash can work it out, so can Skid Row. And, hey they can recreate the 1991 tour with them.
The Misfits said the same thing. I suspect that once Sepultura is done their farewell tour you'll see a reunion of the classic lineup

I'm in my own battle with leukemia and can't imagine how difficult his touring must have been! Some moments I barely have enough energy to turn over in bed and he was out singing! Mad respect for his decision to put his health first!

0:49 Erik left the band due to health issues. He’s still trying to regain his health since his cancer which wore him down considerably. Against all odds he won the fight and survived. He’s a huge fan of Sebastian and has been since he was a kid.
I havent read that he has beaten it. You never really know with leukemia or any cancer, but if this kid isnt rock n roll, going through what he did and all the time performing at that level. I dont know what is.
@@mikelachey824 he is going through hell still with all the tests they do regularly to make sure it doesn’t come back. He the best singer we have in Sweden in my opinion. His voice is incredible.
Erik's health totally comes first. He's a great singer and I wish much health and happiness. The UA-cam videos he puts out covering other songs are great!

Erik gave Skid Row a new breath of life, the Gang's All Here album was great. I saw them live and thought Skid Row would be fine without Sebastian Bach. But, i think they're ever going to do a reunion now is the time.
Agree totally. Erik is a beast of a singer, you just don’t find vocalists like him everyday who don’t already have a gig. The band needs to tour, and having Bas on board would allow them to maximise the returns.

I would say so still, baz and rob are still great friends (rob played on baz’s new song “what do I got to lose?”) and I think it would just sweeten the deal to come back to skid row with the original and most famous lineup, plus that your would make buckets of cash

Let''s talk about the elephant in the room. The band IS Rachel, Scotti, and Snake. Hear me out. On all the albums, past and present - THEY wrote, composed, and recorded the music and somebody sang what they wrote. Two years ago I wouldn't have said this, but after seeing them live in '22 and '23, I heard the sounds that I fell in love with back in the 80's. Here we are over 35 years later and they are still bringing it. Take vocals out of all Skid Row music and it still has the same signature sound - including the new album "The Gang's All Here". Yes, in each album, the vocals had a signature sound,. But NOBODY (particularly today's Sebastian Bach) can forge the signature of an 80's Sebastian Bach. I didn't expect much when I went to see them in '22, but I can honestly say that Erik hit the notes and sounded really close to a young Sebastian. But the band - they nailed it. That's why I went back in '23. Be honest with yourself - Sebastian Bach is a legend, but legends are simply memories of the past. None of us old guys are what we were back then....well, except maybe Rachel, Scotti, and Snake! :)
I wouldn't be surprised if they did. Sebastian just put out a few good songs. What Do I Got To Lose in particular is doing very well and absolutely sounds like old school Skid Row. I hope they give it another shot. They were all very young, probably didn't handle things as well as they could have, and time has a way of putting things in perspective.
Did you hear they very nearly did a reunion with Sebastian a few years ago now I’m not exactly sure about what went on or what happend but it fell through pretty badly one thing I did pick on was very quickly they were very quick to blame Sebastian for what hapend personally I think they didn’t give it a chance and tried to at least work part the issues they still have

I'm a security guard at Whisky A Go-Go and saw Bach sing for RnR Fantasy Camp the other week and he still sounds amazing! Hope this happens!

We just literally seen Skid Row last week, absolutely loved Eric singing. I was always skeptical when bands change members, but Eric did it right. I wish him all the best, he's awesome!
I don't know how Lizzy will do, I like her stuff, but will she fit in this aspect, we'll see. I highly doubt Sébastien will work with the guys again, if by chance they do try again, I think it would dredge up some bad feelings and would cause havoc again among them. There were some harsh words said in years past, so I can't see it happening. I'm so glad I got to see them with Eric. I was so super stoked with this Skid Row resurgence, I finally bought Dave Sabo signature model from Kramer and its an awesome guitar. Let's just see what happens with the guys!

Yeah, and I'm pretty sure the members of Pantera said that before they died but I think we all know If all of the original members from Pantera (1990-2001) were still alive I'm sure they would have reunited the band before 2010, probably even before 2010.

Dave and Rachel have made it perfectly clear over a number of years that they have nbo intention of working with Sebatian ever again. this isnt going to suddenly change cos Erik quit. as it didnt when the other 4 singers quit/were fired. of course we all want it to happen, but the two people who matter the most dont. thats really the end of the conversation im afraid.

What a massive shame for those involved. EK really lit a fire in Skid Row. Seen some live video of the band. Snake and Co really appeared to be having some serious fun on stage. "The Gang is all here" is their best since the "Slave to the Grind" album.

I don't know why it surprises me to see all these bands still tour year-round but it does. The irony is, everyone from Skid Row to The Backstreet Boys continue touring. You name a once chart toping group or singer and you will find out they not only tour, but some have such loyal audiences, tickets range from $100 to $500 for front row pavilion!
I never got to see Sebastian perform live with them and I think if it did happen not only would the band sound great but could bring massive profits from concerts and future album releases. Let the issue from the past be the past. Skid Row should bury the hatchet and get back together while everyone from the OG lineup is still with us.

I think his ego needs to be checked at the door but I’d love to see him back in. His comments during the “Pandemic” were ridiculous. Hopefully he will have a therapist and personal trainer on the road once this happens.

@00:20 They only had one album released in the 80s. Their biggest album - Slave to the Grind - was 1991. They are primarily an early 90s band, they just get lumped in with the 80s.

Is live for then to bring him back. Watching him on AXSTV's Top Ten Countdown, you can tell he's very different from the always wanting to fight or be a smartass person. He's actually funny in a stupid (not stupid as unintelligent, but just stupid funny) kind of way. I think he's a completely different guy than he was in the late 80's - early 90's. Hell, who of us from back in the day hasn't changed in the past 30+ years?
Sebastian has a new album coming out in May and tour starting now. Don't see it in tbe near future... I never got to see them in their prime, but will remain hopeful that it'll maybe happen...maybe. 😊
As much as I would want Bach back in skid row, an as much money as skid row would make. The guys in skid row don’t give a shit about the money. They know how much they would make. According to Sabo & Bolan, when they briefly talked reunion 10 years ago, the same stuff that broke them up started coming up from the Bach camp so they said nothing’s changed, we’re not going back there.
Never say never is a fact, if Vince, Axel hell even DLR did it Bach should be easy. Ego's always have a way of being put aside and having the OG frontman can really not be replaced IMO.
Sebastian is doing well with his new music, new album coming out in May and tour this year. Rob Affuso played drums in Baz's new video What Do I Got to Lose. Baz is a big dude with a big personality and no doubt he's a lot to handle. But the fact that he's willing to work with a therapist? That says a lot about his willingness and takes a big man to admit. Good for him!! Now if the other guys would just consider the same...

I still think it was funny that when Paul Crook left as the touring guitarist for Anthrax, who never had him as an official member, to play with Sebastian Bach's solo band at the time, Dave the Snake Sabo filled in as Anthrax's touring guitarist.
It’s definitely time for SB to be back with them , the fans would be overjoyed, it’d be extremely successful, and he’s better these days than the other singers from his time , better than Axl , Bon Jovi , Vince Neil ect .. Bach still has his voice , not to what it used to be , but much closer than those other powerhouse vocalist

If they don't get back together with Sebastian Bach I believe they might as well hang it up. Because what are they going to do wait for a few years before Erik gets healthy enough... I doubt it and getting the original band back together is the only thing they could do at this point that would be worth it. And I get he may have been hard to work with at some point but that was almost 30 years ago and it sounds like if they don't even try they're the ones that's hard to work with because they're not even willing to try. But if they don't I mean what are they going to do be trying to tour when they're 70

Been a fan since I saw them opening for Mötley in '89, and as a swede it hurts that Erik has to step down, he was the best out of everyone after Sebastian. I always wished they would reunite with Bach at some point, and it's now or never. By the way, "Subhuman Race" is a very underrated album. ;)
