I love fishing and I love your program I've been fishing for a long time I'm 64 years I've been fishing since I was 9 years old you have a great program and I enjoy it because I can't get out anymore and go fishing myself thumbs up to you I don't care if you catch fish in it
We appreciate all your efforts you don't have to catch gollywhoppers every time and it was so much fun watching you catch those skipjack next to that log that made my day. We never hear you complain about all the editing that I'm sure you must do for each of your videos Thanks for taking the time...
Camera picked up those schooling skipjack really well. Very cool to watch that. Keep up the great work, Justin. I look for your videos each day and am happy to see one pop up whenever you post them.
Even my wife likes watching your videos! You are a fisherman’s fisherman, sir. Hardcore. I would’ve put one of those channel cats on a stringer so fast it’d make your head spin. Thanks for the effort!
I'm sure you could set up a lawn chair, start a fire and just sit there with some sweet tea and everyone would still watch. That water always astounds me in all your videos of how green it is..
Time for a YAK Umbrella mod Brother...Love them skip-jack catches...Just discovered they call em gizzard shad here in Texas so I gotta find me some...Keep Crushing It!!! Stay HUMBLE, Stay HUNGRY, Stay FOCUSED...~The Jarhead Entrepreneur
Hi Justin, That was the first video I have seen showing a school of skipjack going after a herd of minnows. Great site to see. Then there was the night fishing saved by that final cat being a blue. You should have asked him what he thought he was doing hanging out with all those dag blasted channel cats. haha., Thanks
enjoyed the video as usual , like them even before i watch them, liked watching you catch the skipjack and fussing about them danged channel catfish lol, keep posting the videos.
Good video as usual Justin. Love how you were talkin about gettin skunked then all at once it's like "wait a minute, we got one more". Glad the new kayak is workin out for you!
Nice to see those skipjack feeding like that... Glad you got a few in the boat ! And your skunk buster looked like a good clean fish... Sorry your tournament did not work out, but those are the days that keep us humble... No doubt your luck will turn back around... Good luck to ya my friend !
Good video , no skunk. I thought there was a predator fish close at first when those fish were jumping. That looked cool. I've said it before but again thank you for what you're doing out here for us. It really helps some of us. Take care Justin.
When summer comes seems like you just about have to fish more at night time. The heat during the days just seems to turn them off so much it's hard to catch anything worth size or numbers. But occasionally it happens but seems like night time fishing is better during summertime.
Good job on the video as usual always enjoy watching them. Man I haven't fished Milton Hill in years watching this video makes me want to drag my kayak to work an fish it tomorrow lol.
Crickets flipped in under trees is my favorite to catch bluegill bait. Little bobber with about 2 feet of line to the hook. August is my worst month for catfish. The cicadas are singing. I think the fish eat them. And are not hungry. Poncho.. Covers legs and all. I have hunkered down with poncho many many times. We have fished for freezer cripples at night. Also. I throw catfish bait out to the edge of the light. Big flathead lurk out there attracted by the commotion.
Great video. Can agree that was the hail Mary trip for sure, glad the storms held off an you was able to “soak some baits “ good fishing to ya good sir.. 🎣 🎣
I couldn't get motivated this weekend. Got a front sitting over me and the last trip out I had a front spook all the fish away. Shoulda watched one of your old videos to get me motivated
Justin CFDave be proud to you for haven your baitfish rod with you! Thanx for your hard work, dont knock my channel cat if it weren't for them i wouldn't catch a catfish ever!
Get the RadarScope Pro app for your phone. I do saltwater fishing on Long Island and it refreshes every 3 to 5 minutes. You can scan for lightning, wind, hail, track and Mping reports. For fishermen like us, it is a MUST HAVE if you don't have a sonar on your boat
Ive caught some channels that had black fungus looking stuff on them like that. Its pretty sure it's not normal or a coloration. I heard its from hog run off, but who knows. I saw a guy catch one with a lot on it, out of the IL river years ago.
I was wondering how long it was gonna take you to throw it into the tree you did catch a mess of fish that’s good hope you stay safe so you can make more videos👍👍👍
I like to fish for my bait while I'm fishing for cats I'll set my drag/clicker and walk away from them and go get bait for next trip for me it's less boring and just gives me something to do while waiting for a big bite soon too come the the video man keep up the great worl
And the funny thing is, I caught that 7lb channel on a nightcrawler and a bobber using my ultralight setup. I was fishing for bluegill and she about spooled me, but I got her!
I've wondered why specimen cups were listed as part of your fishing gear on some videos. I use the gulp minnows quite often. I'll have to try those cups.
I'm sure you've had people mention it already but, had you thought of mounting something behind your chair almost righ on it for an umbrella holder? Definately one of the things I do first when I get a boat, lol
I wouldn’t mind watching a video with no fish caught. It would make me feel like every fishing trip i take.
My feelings exactly.
I know how u feel about that lol. The last few trips of fishin ive took, I aint caught nothin
Yeah it's been sad times in central Oklahoma
Wheew i am glad i am not the only one lol it will get better fellas
Im from East Tennessee and the fishin sucks here. But hopefully when fall comes I'll be able to catch some fish at least.
I love to hear you complain about the channel cats - it cracks me up. You make a great video.
Wow that shot of the schooling skipjack swarming your bait was awesome! Hard to believe none of them hooked up
I love fishing and I love your program I've been fishing for a long time I'm 64 years I've been fishing since I was 9 years old you have a great program and I enjoy it because I can't get out anymore and go fishing myself thumbs up to you I don't care if you catch fish in it
That skipjack filming was amazing
I'd like to see more of you catching bait, especially skipjack!
We appreciate all your efforts you don't have to catch gollywhoppers every time and it was so much fun watching you catch those skipjack next to that log that made my day.
We never hear you complain about all the editing that I'm sure you must do for each of your videos
Thanks for taking the time...
I love catching last minute fish
I never catch last minute fish. If I catch one as I'm about to leave, I'll end up staying another hour.😂
It's a good thing to go fishing and have a good time. You can't beat the alternative lol.
No skunk tonight in my kayak. No skunk tonight for me. Skip Jack fishing is a blast.
Camera picked up those schooling skipjack really well. Very cool to watch that. Keep up the great work, Justin. I look for your videos each day and am happy to see one pop up whenever you post them.

Blue cat saved the day !

I like the big umbrella.
Frog toggs if that's spelled correctly works really well so far, don't sweat in them like all plastic rain suits.
The skipjack action was killer!!! Seeing them schooling and busting... dang!
i admire your dedication Justin
Can you add an attachment to the back of the seat to place an umbrella for the future? LOVE the videos, you rock!
enjoyed the video as usual , like them even before i watch them, liked watching you catch the skipjack and fussing about them danged channel catfish lol, keep posting the videos.
Good video as usual Justin. Love how you were talkin about gettin skunked then all at once it's like "wait a minute, we got one more". Glad the new kayak is workin out for you!
Well I'm glad I'm not the only one that can't find any fish. Last few trips have sucked for me
Awesome skipjack catching bud!!!!....I’ve never came across a school like that though I have caught them before...great video brother as always!!
NO SKUNK TONIGHT! Nice fish.
Nice to see those skipjack feeding like that... Glad you got a few in the boat ! And your skunk buster looked like a good clean fish... Sorry your tournament did not work out, but those are the days that keep us humble... No doubt your luck will turn back around... Good luck to ya my friend !
Great Gulp Minnow storage tip. Thanks!
One question? What is it about channel cats you don't like?
He has said because they don't get very big and all they do is shred his bait.
I took your advice and got a pee cup for the gulp minnows. No more leaks. Just looks funny when some one gets in my truck and they see the cup lol
Good video , no skunk. I thought there was a predator fish close at first when those fish were jumping. That looked cool. I've said it before but again thank you for what you're doing out here for us. It really helps some of us. Take care Justin.
I love fishing water that color what an awesome video
Get one of the small aerators that clip on the side of the bucket. Will keep them alive MUCH longer.
Really enjoy your channel and love your occasional baitfishing episodes!
I love all your videos. You a great fisherman. keep it up.
Those channel cats fight pretty good for their size!
Dang ole channel cat laughed when you said that nice blue you caught at the end enjoyed the skipjack part also thanks for sharing
Great video Justin so hope you are enjoying your new kayak now you don't need a anchor or a drift sock either Heck yeah man only going to get better!

I'd like to catch all those channels, that way you'd have clear run at them flatties.🐟🐟🐟
A fish is a fish is a fish, no such thing as a bad catch and release. :)
Caught me a skunk 🦨 last time out. Oh well beats work.
Great video. Can agree that was the hail Mary trip for sure, glad the storms held off an you was able to “soak some baits “ good fishing to ya good sir.. 🎣 🎣

🇺🇸Grandpa🇺🇸
What knd of idiots give you a 👎🏻 & why?? 🤬
Have you tried using a float basket! Keep it in water right next to your yak!
I've seen Milligan Fishing use a battery powered areator mounted on side of bucket.
Those won’t keep skipjack alive
So I see them what looks to be holes in the floor couldn’t you run a connection of some sort and attach you an umbrella with extension pole?
I am from Iowa , send that rain this way, we are dieing!!!
I like to fish for my bait while I'm fishing for cats I'll set my drag/clicker and walk away from them and go get bait for next trip for me it's less boring and just gives me something to do while waiting for a big bite soon too come the the video man keep up the great worl
Oh man I’d be breaking out my cast net real quick on those surface skipjacks.
Hey, I will take those channel cats any day! Those are big for being channels! Bigger than my PB, and she weighed about 7 pounds!
And the funny thing is, I caught that 7lb channel on a nightcrawler and a bobber using my ultralight setup. I was fishing for bluegill and she about spooled me, but I got her!
@@KermitTheGamer21 sounds like fun
Dave said, save him sum of those skip jack.
I've wondered why specimen cups were listed as part of your fishing gear on some videos. I use the gulp minnows quite often. I'll have to try those cups.
Kevin...can you tell us more about the skipjacks? I thought they were a salt water fish...never heard of a fresh water variety.
Great video!
Greetings from Kingsport ! Why don't you Musky fish on Melton ? Best fresh water fish ever ! When I get my boat, I will be there every weekend !
Muskie fishing involves too many casts for not enough action. Just isn’t my thing.
Yesterday I was happy with the 3 channel cats I caught but they went 32", 31", and 34" out of a 5 acre pond
I'm sure you've had people mention it already but, had you thought of mounting something behind your chair almost righ on it for an umbrella holder? Definately one of the things I do first when I get a boat, lol
Wow you is in Channel Cat Heaven Dude!!!! Or should I say Channel Cat Hell!!!!
Its been hard out here in va too
Hey man I am head to watch great video
Get a two gallon bucket with a lid, drill holes in it and hang it off the side of your kayak. It's a bait tank while your fishing
Good eating channels sir. To bad the waters not suitable. I don't remember have you done any catfish bobbers fishing?
You need to get your baked bucket like Richard Jean the fishing machine
You're so awesome 😎!!!
I've noticed if you use a dark bucket, baits live longer! The white, almost shocks them to death in a hurry..
Great app for radar available for both Apple and Android is called My radar. Love it. Just the free version.
Hey Just you need to use the MyRadar app. Much much better for storm tracking.
I believe I see you on watts barr this morning lol
Yeah I am out here.
