This is my favorite catfishing channel. Most people don't know how to give out good tips. But with your videos, I learn way more information than what I already had growing up.
I truly respect a fisherperson that is generous and takes care of the fish.
I scoffed at the idea of putting a pricey trolling motor on my jon boat, but man has it made a huge difference in the number of fish I'm putting in the boat now. You can catch fish drifting with the wind or current, but being able to stay on a set course at a set speed really does make a difference. It was definitely a worthwhile investment.

I remember when I first started watching your channel about 1 and a half years ago and videos like these where you would get doubles and get big cats every trip. Finally got another trip like those for the first time in a while
The difference was back then I only posted 1 video per week. I would post my best trip and scrap the rest of the footage. Can’t post monsters every video when I am cranking out 3 videos per week like I do now.

Now that's what I'm talking about, BIG flatheads! I don't know why you don't target them more Justin they are the most powerful catfish out there pound for pound. I can't wait for next month to come down there and fish for them. Cut bait just doesn't seem to work like that up here in Iowa for flatheads, they like their live bait. Tight lines Justin!
I just got back from fishing the Texas inshore coast line. The wind speed and direction really made it hard for us but we got an ok haul.
Nothing like getting slimed by a giant in your kayak! My last trip out I caught some nice big blues in a power plant lake that really had me testing the limits of my kayak pulling them in!

nice fish man. quick question, i go out fishing in my local river for catfish so i have my line set out and i get hits that rip the drag out of the reel and bend the rod majorly(almost pulling it into the water) i go to tighten my drag so i can set the hook and reel it in. as soon as i touch the rod, the fish let go. how do i fix that problem
Sounds like it might be gar hitting your bait. They will do exactly as you described.

Yeah man when they came out with that spot lock feature on trolling motors I wasn't sold until I bought a new Phoenix bass boat and it had one and I gotta say it was ingenious!!! When I'm fishing bass tournaments I'll work my way down ridges or points out in the main lakes and when I catch a fish I'll hit my spot lock just to sit there a little bit and I'd say 90% of the time I'll either catch 1 more or a bunch more. I really don't know how I fought the waves and wind for so long without it.

Any tips for stock pond catfishing from a bank? I saw a catfish come to the surface the size of me near the bank nearing sundown yesterday and he avoided ALL of my baits for hours. I wear polarized lenses and if ya look into the water just right you can see fish. But that catfish was the biggest fish I've ever seen in person. I have to catch him cause I talked around and found he's been there for years
