Nice! now you may be wondering how do you make it combust? well you can make a mixture of your just now around 70-90% pure amonium nitrate with zinc (note you should probably combine these two while molton do not explode!!!)! when you combine this mixture you will have a pretty nice low-mid quality explosive pack that sludge into a tight steel container compress as much as possible! then inside that container have some sort of way to create an absurd heat now there are 2 ways we could do this 1 via fuse that you light the fuse should be going all around the botton sides and top of the steel box coverd in preferably gasoline or something that can ignite and hold up a flame for a good amount of time or 2 a remote controlled version first you will grab a tv remote gut it out and take the part that sends a red uv light signal now gut out a tv and take the receivor of that tv hot glue the receiver too the steel box and make it so it would combine 2 chemicals together that would start forming heat once the signal is sent too the receivor how to make this idk you will need to program the reciever too flip a switch that opens a little barrier between those 2 chemicals and thats how you make a Bomb!!!!!!
hello! im not expecting you to answer after 2 years but if you see thi comment, would you happen to know if i could get ammonium nitrate from ammonium sulfate nitrate(idk its how its called).
Did you start with 15.5-0-0 calcium nitrate fertilizer or is it something else? If it's 15.5-0-0 fertilizer then I don't see how you did anything but remove insoluble contaminants from it. If you're going to extract pure ammonium nitrate from 15.5-0-0 fertilizer you're going to have to somehow supply ammonia and precipitate out a calcium salt, e.g. by a reaction with ammonium sulfate.
@@oelkerandy7570 Calcium is better because its in the form of insoluble Calcium okside, Potasium ions are more soluble and are harder to remove from solution, so i would say Calcium
You can also mix it in equal parts by weight with sugar and touch a flame to the pile. Be careful to use very small amounts and stay clear because it will burn very energetically and could burn you badly. If it sparkles and burns like a cartoon gunpowder trail, it's definitely some kind of nitrate salt, which if you started with ammonium nitrate fertilizer is probably going to be ammonium nitrate. Nothing chemical changed here, he just broke it away from a bunch of filler in the pellets and filtered off the chalky junk he didn't want.
@@karolus28 even in drain cleaners? That sucks, there are many many uses for it. A pool supply store might have something? I don't know, that really sucks. Take care Friend, I think there is a not so complicated way to separate the Sulfuric acid from the junk. It might require a distillation, which can be expensive for the setup. Another option might be using decedents made for whatever it is in there you don't want, water is easy to remove using these pretty cheap clay beads. Just a couple ideas. Good luck with everything if you do attempt to do a separation.
@@allentremper8243 I'm pretty sure the drain cleaners are less than 15% and really expensive, you can't buy battery sulfuric acid(37%) as a person, only for example a person who has a store can buy it. I'm planning on trying labscale lead chamber process using info from sciencemadness
It's cute how neither of you understands that ammonium nitrate, along with potassium nitrate, sodium nitrate and urea nitrate, are the exact things that are in all-natural manure to make it good for plants. What's bad for the planet is the widespread over-use of all types of fertilizer, which throws the nutrient levels in nature out of balance. When there's a giant toxic algae bloom, the algae doesn't care how those nutrients were made, it just cares that we flushed a bunch of fertilizer off the farm field. The only difference between manure and the starting fertilizer in this video is that this stuff is specifically balanced to give the nutrients the desired plants need - grass versus flowers versus vegetables versus a different ratio of potassium, nitrogen and phosphorus. In a sense it's actually better for the soil than manure because it's replacing exactly what the plant is taking when used properly.

@Trails Tm, Or because it’s fun to play with responsibility, I think very few people that want/have ammonium nitrate want to use it to hurt someone or someone’s property. I just like to play with it at the gun range for example
@@Mygg_Jeager Nitrates are probably better for your propellant (if you don't already know how to make gun cotton you'll love it). For primers I'd suggest chlorates (and Armstrong's mixture) or a metal nitrate (eg silver nitrate or mercury nitrate). Just add a little sodium/potassium hydroxide until Calcium hydroxide stops precipitating. Filter the mix then boil down to recover the crystals. For me the Na/ammonium nitrate mix is great for alot of nitration reactions. Much more useful then calcium/ammonium nitrate.
