Slide tech is such a clever addition to the base.
We love this new Isofix base. Complete game changer
If you can use the Pebble 360 in the FamilyFix 360 Pro base, then what are the differences between the Pebble 360 and the Pebble 360 Pro?
Hi,
The main difference is the pebble 360 pro reclines. The seat is also a little longer than the previous pebble 360. 87cm for the new one compared to 83 cm for the previous version.
The slide tech is such a brilliant idea. Will it fit in all makes and models of car? And is that right, the Coral 360 weighs just 1.7 kilos?
I agree the slide-tech solution will be a game changer. The isofix base will fit all vehicles with i-Size locations. For any vehicle without designated i-size locations please refer to the manufacturer's approval list and your vehicle handbook. You can also pop into our Bristol showroom where we will be happy to advise.
The removable insert in the Maxi-Cosi Coral 360 does indeed weigh only 1.7kgs. However the total weight including the outer shell is 5.5kgs in total.
@@BabyandcoUK Amazing! Thank you.
We have just purchased the pearl and are finding our baby's head slumps forwards really badly when he falls asleep. Could you please tell us how to fix this?
The overall angle of the seat will be dictated by the isofix position and vehicle seat angle. This can me mitigated by ensuring the child is positioned correctly in the seat and close to the buckle.
We find that some children’s head does lull forward when they sleep.
The best suggestion would be to contact the retailer you purchased from who will be able to check the fit for you.
May I ask - how is this different from the Coral seat? Looking for advice as a first time father looking to strap their daughter into an MX-5.
Hi,
The Coral varies from the Pebble 360 pro in several ways. The most obvious is the Coral 360 has a removable inner shell that weighs only 1.7kgs. We talk about this at around 3.25 in the video.
The Pebble 360 pro has a longer shell (87cm) and has a recline function. The coral is shorter at 75cm.
So the deciding factor would be the value of the recline function over a lighter option. I would recommend visiting your local stockist to take a look at the different options in more detail.
Both could be installed with either lap and diagonal seat belt or isofix
We are in Bristol if that is convenient for you.
Hello can the pearl 360 fit in family fix pro and still be able to use the slidetech?
Hi, No its not currently approved. You will need to choose the Pearl 360 Pro
@@BabyandcoUK thanks for fast answer:)
Hello 👋🏻 can the Pearl be attached to a stroller with the correct adapters or only the Pebble?
Hi, Only the Pebble can be attached to a stroller.
I have this base and I have to use great force to slide it. Is it because it is new? On video I saw it slides easily.
Hi, We have experienced some that require a little more effort to slide in and out. However in general the action should be quite smooth and not difficult to do. I would suggest letting the retailer you purchased from take a look to see whether there is an issue.
@@BabyandcoUK thank you very much!
How long can the baby safely lie in the 168° position without putting to much stress on the back?
Hi, there is no duration guidance. The reclined position is recommended for newborns.
The Pebble 360 Pro has been designed with ergonomics in mind. However please reach out to Maxi-Cosi customer service if you have any specific concerns.
Is the pebble 360 pro compatible with the baby yoyo zen2 stroller ?
We don't think its been tested yet. But i suggest you reach out to Babyzen customer service to check with them
Am from US and not able to find the maxi Cosi pebble 360 pro and it’s base in my state, the website does not seem to carry it either. Where can I buy it?
Hi.
This is a European model and not available in North America.
Maybe Maxi-Cosi will be working on a similar model for the US market.
Can it comparable to a U.S. car? If I buy from UK ?
@@taktseten sorry this is only available for the European market. The U.S uses a different system to Europe.
Can the Pearl 360 pro seat still fit on the family fix 360 base? Is it compatible and safe?
No, the pearl 360 pro only fits on the familyfix 360 pro base.
According to the Maxi-Cosi base compatibility chart, it is compatible storage.doreldigital.io/maxicosi/2023-05/Maxi-Cosi%20Compatibility%20Overview%20Bases%202023%20V1.pdf
Does the base come in different colours?
no, the base only comes in black. However the Pebble 360 Pro and Pearl 360 Pro comes in a range of colours.
Is this available in the US?
Sorry this is only available for the European & UK market
